This week saw two M6 earthquakes with the strongest being a M6,4 in Tonga.
In the usual map area there were 6 out of 96 worldwide equal to or greater than 4.5 and 2739 out of 3075 quakes of all sizes.
Percentage: 89.1%

Especially the West Coast of the US was busy with activity. Here is a zoom in of a smaller area than the one above:

In the above small section there were 70.7% of all earthquakes worldwide of all sizes or 2178 out of the total of 3080! This is the most shaking place in the world and has been for some time.
 

6.0-magnitude quake hits Easter Island region -- USGS​

BEIJING, Oct. 10 (Xinhua) -- An earthquake with a magnitude of 6.0 jolted Easter Island region at 1314 GMT on Saturday, the U.S. Geological Survey said.

The epicenter, with a depth of 10.0 km, was initially determined to be at 28.6474 degrees south latitude and 112.2743 degrees west longitude.

Last week saw two M6 earthquakes, the largest being a 6.3 in Papua New Guinea (PNG).
In the usual area, there were 6 out of 90 worldwide equal or greater to 4.5 and 1991 out of 2391 quakes of all sizes.
Percentage: 83.3%

Last week was almost unusually quiet regarding earthquakes with no M6 or above worldwide.
In the usual area there were 0 out of 77 earthquakes worldwide equal or greater to 4.5 and 1883 out of 2214 quakes of all sizes.
Percentage: 85.0%

Earthquake data are not that objective: Here is an example from Denmark. Recently there was a quake on September 30th

The earthquake measured 3.4 on the local Richter scale, which is relatively large for Denmark, and it could be felt locally in Thy. It is one of the areas where earthquakes are most frequently registered in Denmark, so it is not entirely unusual for the citizens of Thy to feel tremors.

From the above page, there is this picture, where the green spot is where it happened. Btw. the geologists are not able to explain the persistent presence of the cluster in the northwest.

Today's earthquake in #Alaska of 7.5 Mw was in the same place where the 7.8 Mw earthquake of July 22 was registered. This area is known as the Shumagin Gap, a place where a great earthquake has been expected for years.

HONG KONG, Oct. 21 (Xinhua) -- An earthquake with a magnitude of 5.9 jolted 183 km off Neiafu, Tonga, at 00:22:33 GMT on Wednesday, the U.S. Geological Survey said.

The epicenter, with a depth of 10.0 km, was initially determined to be at 19.3191 degrees south latitude and 172.3884 degrees west longitude.
