First ever Sott.net Talk Radio Show Sunday Jan 20th 2013!

Listened last night. Excellent work, gents! The list of shootings since the 90s was particularly illuminating. The show airs during the last hour and a half of my Sunday work shift, and I had to restrain myself from neglecting work and listening in live :D

Also, got a kick out of the last minute caller. The whole first segment on the show was discussing your general disgust with the "hoax" theories being spread, and Mr. opens with "you guys really think this was a hoax??" Obvious intentions. I totally agree with the others above that it would be helpful to remind listeners a few times that lines are open throughout, and then close the lines 5 minutes before for "recap". I'm looking forward to more challenging callers, though, as live rebuttal is quite instructive to the mindset/thought process of both host and challenging caller.
 
You guys did an excellent job! I had a few aha moments too and particularly liked the interview clips. They really reinforced the points you were making. Thank you so much for this. I can't wait for the next one.
 
I really enjoyed this informative program. Great work, and I also look forward to next Sunday's show. If it hasn't already been thought of, perhaps someone should leave a public post for Brad, and invite him back for the next show.

On second thought, I don't see him wanting to return.
 
Great show. :clap: Didn't manage to catch it live but downloaded the MP3 version and listen to it on my computer with headsets. Some parts of the audio breaks up and Niall sounds a bit "hollow" or odd, although still audible. Not sure what the cause is but perhaps a change of mic for Niall on the next broadcast might solve the issue? :huh:

The 'suicide' of Aaron Swartz could be an interesting one. Similar to Sandy Hook, nothing conclusive but conspiracy abound.

Yeh a few people have mentioned having difficulty hearing what I'm saying. It could be a mike issue, it could be because I speak in a low voice generally (which I have to work on!), or it could be that I just have an odd voice? :umm: Or maybe it's some combination of all three? Anyway, we'll work on it.

Thanks everyone for your feedback and support. We're looking forward to having you all call in at some point (hint, hint!) and say your piece, whether it's just a general observation about something, something you want to get off your chest, a question about a particular point you want to clarify, whatever. Even if we've already moved on and are talking about something else, it's never the 'wrong time' to call in or send us a message through the Blog Talk Radio page.

And don't hesitate to disagree with us! SOTT Talk Radio is very much part of the networking process so the more who contribute to helping all see reality more clearly, the better.
 
About next weeks show or further along. Perhaps the role of media can be discussed, how they are used; sources planted, film clips added, authoritarians being rolled out for opinion etc. This could be done within the context to Libya and Syria for instance. Anything along these lines are all encompassing matters that reflect in so many aspects of our day to day lives; so no easy task to tackle.

As for Syria/Libya et al, who exactly are these rebels, what is their face really and who manipulates them to do what they do? Again, big subjects on there own, let alone tied together.

Look forward to whatever direction you guys take.
 
I'm really enjoying listening through - it's very enlightening in a way to listen to how 'normal' you guys are and how naturally you converse; sometimes I feel so stupid and primitive reading through the forum and the literature, learning so much along the way and learning that I 'know nothing', that it's refreshing to acknowledge that you're all human too and not super-human!

I have just reached the part where you're discussing the coinciding drills that happened at the times of these numerous events - I'm not sure if this idea has been mentioned, I just wanted to write it down before it slips my mind.
It has been mentioned I think by the Cs that frequencies are broadcast to 'trigger' programs in people; often resulting in coinciding attacks or people perhaps acting abnormally (such as the so-called zombie attacks) - Might it be possible that drills coincide to 'set a scene' for these events to help tune in a frequency to trigger certain programs in people?

I will finish listening to the program after I get some sleep; it has been so interesting that I haven't kept track of time.

Out of curiousity, I gathered you're American but your accents sound slightly Irish? I have found them to be softly spoken so perhaps that's why some have difficulty hearing you?
 
I agree with Soluna in how "normal" you sound. Very different, for example, to A Jones' rantings and ravings, this kind of humour, logic, and "normality" go such a long way in attracting new people who would normally shy away from "crazy conspiracy theories".
Excellent job, and I can't wait for next Sunday.
As a Brit I didn't have a problem understanding you guys, but Niall sounded as if he was further away from the mike.
The Irish are well known to be witty and eloquent btw!
As you continue, I think the shows will just get better and better!
Maybe the radio shows could be transcribed.
 
A subject for next programs can be the coming of the Ice Age, and then you can talk about some books. I hope that one day you will invite Laura? She can talk about her book. I will love that! :D

Keto or Paleo diet are other subjects that can be very essential. With some receipts and some analysis of important books.

Cointrelpro can be surely a subject very important.

But anything you will do will be appropriate.

I did not had problems to listen correctly both of you. The sound was ok.
 
I just finished listening.

I think perhaps as well as lodging the 'debunk' spanner in the gears of peoples minds - the final caller may have specifically waited for those last few minutes so that you would 'HAVE' to cut him off, and would appear to be unwilling to talk to someone with an alternative point of view - therefore perhaps giving that alternate point of view more of a foothold and making people think, well hang on, did you cut him off because he may have had a point?

Regardless of his motives and probable stubborn resistance to thinking things through or entertaining possibilities; I would have found it interesting if you'd had the chance (or time) to directly respond to his points and rationally counter them to give your points even more weight for those who can clearly see your critical thinking. Even though I realise it's probably a waste of time 'trying' to make him understand, or even others who are resistant to the idea. I struggle every day to try and defend and/or explain my decisions and choices and views to my husband - I don't have the knowledge or good enough memory to explain things so clearly and concisely - plus the situation makes me emotionally invested and tearful - it is empowering to listen to people who know what they are talking about, respond to someone questioning them and maintaining their dignity and certainty.

Keep up the good work, I'm looking forward to listening to the next installment.


I think a topical subject at the moment might be the 2012 end of the world craze - and the fact that we are still here (and you're still able to broadcast!) coming in to 2013.
 
Just listened and would like to congratulate for a really great job, many thanks to all involved! Like mentioned, the conversation was grounded, rational and very ”common sense”, I would imagine that some people who have steered clear of conspirational matters due to preconceptions might be impressed by the quality.

Psychopathy and ponerology definitely would be a worthwhile subject for a future show.

Maybe indeed leave the end of the show ”call free”, for recapping, so that possible trolls will not have a ”last say” due to time running out.
 
I think a good topic for a future show would be the whole Contrail/Chemtrail issue. Looking forward to the weekly radio casts!
 
Joe and Kniall, GREAT job on the show. The discussion, IMO, was a very apt demonstration of sound logic incorporating little picture within the big picture.

Thanks to everyone for your suggestions. We aim to cover everything, sooner or later :)

In the meantime, I've opened a new thread on the topic for next week's show: Gun Control.
