First time receiving advice from a dream

I had a dream and this was the first time I received some advice that was helpful.
The subject matter is trivial but the experience was profound for me.

I was trying to learn a complicated dance move on IG but I couldn't pause the reel at the moments that I needed to analyze the process.
That night I was dreaming and another person told me to screen record the video on my phone so then I'd have a video file that I could slow motion and learn.

It took me a little while to remember my dream upon waking but I was surprised when I remembered as that was a really good idea and it came from someone talking to me in a dream.
That was the first time that had happened for me.

Hopefully more to come (and more important lessons).

Sometimes we integrate bits of information unconsciously and it manifests in dreams. When I was a kid my father tried to teach me how to tie my shoelaces. I didn't understand because the whole process was hidden by his hands. That night I had a dream in which I saw the process as if made by invisible hands (shoelaces moving slowly in the air). First thing in the morning I tried it, and it worked. Still using that method to this day.

If you haven't already, check out the dream work thread. I don't think we understand what dreams really are, or what's possible, but they can definitely be used for problem solving, among many other things.
Thank you, I should've posted in there. I'll read through that thread.
Dreams are indeed so fascinating and mysterious.

This makes sense, because the solution to my problem was quite simple and I did know what to do, I just wasn't consciously aware at the time.

It's so true. Dreams are a part of our brain that has its own memory and its own rules, I think. It's like a top-notch Google that informs us on so many subjects, like an intelligence within our intelligence. In dreams, we can experience extraordinary situations, magnificent adventures, because even in a nightmare there's this notion of adventure, and it always ends well because we wake up in time. Dreams are like a gigantic mirror reflecting ourselves. The terror of dreaming about a psychopath is that part of us that's hidden during the day. The fear that's present in a dream is the fear that we control so well during the day. Sometimes we dream of mythical gods, who beckon to us, because they're always there, in the depths of our memory. Positive emotions are there too: empathy, compassion, for others, for ourselves. During the Rwandan war, I had a nightmare. Soldiers were coming towards me to kill me, and in that nightmare, I experienced what the victims endured before being killed during that genocide. And what can be said about the beauty of some dreams, the magnificent colors that transform a dream into an extraordinary painting, proving our creative side and allowing us to experience beauty. In some dreams, humor is present to make us laugh, we who are so serious in life... In any case, I think that dreams are the tip of an inner iceberg, and an iceberg that is infinite.
