Frequency generator for health

I bought a power bank and found out about this:

Low-current mode (or trickle charging) on power banks allows charging of low-power devices like earphones and smartwatches, which often do not draw enough power to keep a regular power bank active. This mode usually lasts for 2 hours before automatically turning off, ensuring devices are not overcharged.

This may or may not be a problem with this device. In case you want a power bank that will last more than 2 hours you might want to buy the one with built-in cable:

First night with the new setup with power bank, and I was glad that it turned off after two hours because I couldn't sleep with it. I had no nightmares, I just felt like I couldn't go into the sleep mode. It was like I was constantly in the alpha mode. Maybe I should try turning it on when I am reading the romance novels books, maybe it will help with visualizations.

I tried it last night with 528 Hz and as soon as I turned it on I could feel it in my brain. It was definitely doing something. But it wasn't relaxing at all, it was very stimulating. No wonder I couldn't sleep with it. I couldn't even focus on reading, so I decided to switch back to default frequency and then the feeling in the brain stopped. I think we need some additional guidance on how to use this thing.

I was reading about what scientists were using in their experiments, and I found that sometimes they were using two frequencies at the same time. For example:

PEMF signal was a 27.12-MHz carrier modulated by a 2-ms burst repeating at 2 bursts/s (2 Hz).

So one frequency is a carrier and the other one is injected inside the carrier. Perhaps in Z's case the 528 Hz is just a carrier and some other frequency is injected by his iPhone's charger?

Apparently, this device does not belong to PEMF devices but is a SEMF device.

Several types of EMF may be utilized. Stationary Magnetic Field (SMF) requires an electromagnetic field with the same direction and magnitude due to a suppressed electrical component or 0 Hz frequency. Low energy, time varying magnetic fields typify Pulsed Electro-Magnetic Field (PEMF). These low energy electric fields are comprised of specific shapes and amplitudes (Markov 2007) and may be found in a variety of different patterns including asymmetric, biphasic, quasi-rectangular or triangular. Sinusoidal electromagnetic fields are non-pulsed (SEMF), in contrast to the on and off nature of PEMF, follows a sinusoidal waveform. Non-pulsed SEMF has been shown to have a modulation effect on reactive oxygen species, on nitrous oxide species (NOS), and have neuroprotective effects in ischemia of the rat model.

AI Overview

Sinusoidal electromagnetic field (SEMF) therapy is a non-invasive, low-frequency treatment using continuous, non-pulsed magnetic waves to promote tissue healing, accelerate bone fracture repair, and potentially treat cancer by inhibiting tumor cell growth. Unlike pulsed systems (PEMF), SEMF provides continuous stimulation, often used to improve metabolic activity and reduce inflammation.

Key Aspects of SEMF Therapy

Mechanism: SEMF acts by stimulating osteogenic factors (like RUNX2, COL-1) to promote bone growth. It can also induce apoptosis (programmed cell death) in cancer cells.

Common Applications:

Bone Regeneration: It is highly effective in treating bone defects, increasing bone density, and enhancing fracture healing.
Bone Health: Used to inhibit resorption and promote formation in cortical and trabecular bones.
Neuroprotection: Studies suggest it can aid in treating cerebral ischemic stroke by triggering protective nitric oxide mechanisms.
Cancer Treatment: Research shows it can inhibit tumor angiogenesis (blood vessel formation).
Soft Tissue/Dental: It is used as a supportive therapy for gingival diseases.

Advantages: It is non-invasive and generally safe, with studies showing no significant adverse effects.
Types: It often uses Low-Frequency (ELF) setups, such as 50 Hz treatment.

SEMF vs. PEMF

SEMF (Sinusoidal Electromagnetic Field): Continuous, non-pulsed magnetic waves.
PEMF (Pulsed Electromagnetic Field): Delivers magnetic energy in bursts (on/off).

Both are effective for bone repair and regeneration.
