Carlin has enriched my life on a deep level, I feel more sane after hearing him, and I have just had another gut laugh because of him. Such a shame that he's gone, but just imagine how amazing 5d is these days! 
He'll be chowing down with Charlie Chaplin, Groucho Marx, Peter Sellers and countless others, better than what we can currently put out. Thanks to modern technology I have a library of the best on offer, and he's never too far down my playlist. His HBO shows are essential viewing for starters. He makes reality a bit more bearable by challenging my individual perspective. I've changed my mind about how I perceive reality in a subtle way thanks to him, and it's a change for the better. A great writer and orator, blessed with an instinctively funny demeanour and a sly wit.
