I will add my two Kronor to your throat achings advising you neem oil. I have been using it for years and it is very efficient.
(I was about to use the "cool 2 moon", but it is rather not indicated for the throat achs and your profession.

When ill, it's a good idea to bump up Vitamin C intake to five grams or more, if tolerated. You can titrate up to maximum and that can even tell you how sick you are!
NAC is very important if you have any kind of lung thing going on. While we were going through a similar illness all the month of November, we took plenty of NAC and it helps a lot. I was taking 600 mg about 3 or 4 times a day. Every time I started coughing again, I took one.
The infection is another matter. Best to get a good antibiotic eye ointmnet for that. Also have a look at "Blepharitis." I just recently posted about it in the forum, so search for it.

Thank you for the advice. I fortunately read your post just prior to going to the drug store after the antibiotic drops and bought the NAC from the health store near by. I hope it will improve her condition. I've been hesitant to do any reiki, since we all know that it probably will "boost" the virus. Maybe after the infections are gone I'll suggest a reiki session. :)

Thank you truth seeker, your words put a smile on my face. :) To be honest, I am glad I can actively contribute again and with a focused mind. The death of my sister-in-law put a lot of things on hold for a while and after everything was done, I needed a break (and luckily we had planned our vacation at the very end of the year).
So, I am back again for as long as the universe allows me ;)
