Happy Puppies!

You could say that our dogs and puppies keep us sane and grounded. They are also mighty fine protection/guardians!

Lovely bunch  Sleeping in the shade all huddled up looks so comfy.

They have a nice "playpen" outside with toys, pipes, ramps, tilted pallets, and so on, for stimulation and psychological enrichment, but they come inside in the evening and we spend time with them outside too. It's a very nice litter with good personalities, intelligence and seriously heavy on the cute factor! We are planning on keeping the tri-color. Her name is Nokomis.

This video is so sweet. While watching it, I wanted to just go and play with those sweetharts

I'm sure that the rest of them will find a loving home/s.

We are very picky about who we sell them to. The going price for these pups is 900 Euros apiece, but we will adjust that for the right person. I won't sell them to breeders.

When I first started hanging around, the second thing I checked out was how yawl treated/viewed your critters :)

  Beautiful.

I have the music played in video as well! I love it.

I do the same, AND the other way: what do my dogs think of so-and-so? There was a group member who came to stay with us for awhile about whom I had some serious misgivings. But, I was willing to give the guy a fair chance to prove himself. It took a little bit for the dogs to get used to him, and as far as I could see, that part was okay. The only thing was, there was a lot of chaotic energy going on amongst the dogs themselves. It was the bizarrest thing I've ever seen. They didn't hate this guy, but they had all kinds of jealousies, upsets, going on in their own ranks. The guy always made a big show of how patient he was with them... they would jump on him (and I don't allow them to jump on me or other people) and shake his head and grin like "what can you do, they are so cute..." Then, he started smacking them. I explained (in a somewhat steely voice, I'm sure) that you can train a dog with your voice, you don't need to whack them. Then, he was seen by a couple people in the house kicking one of them when he thought no one was around. That - added to a number of other observations - was the end of his stay.

It never fails, when things are bleak, to hug the dog(s). Or just sit and let the little fuzzballs romp over you and chew on your slippers. When Dex was little I sacrificed my Eyeore slippers to his teething cuteness.
And nope, no regrets. :D

And Thank you for sharing! It lightens the heart. :D

YES!!! I'm convinced that Lilly is a better judge of character than I am! I've turned down two potential tenants so far because she curled her lip at them...which she doesn't usually do.

I have never struck another person in anger in my life, but if someone kicked my dog (or cat, goats, etc.) I think I would.
