How to dedicate time and energy to creativity, in a world where it doesn't pay?

What I’ve really come to realise about my time restraints and inability to create anything tangible is that I don’t have to have anything material to show for it.
Love is an unseen creative energy and we can give that freely all day long in whatever we are doing.
It takes training and practice to ‘love everything’ and the reward is more energy to keep giving more of it

Now, we are getting to a point where, even with "decent" pay, an individual is struggling to make ends met. This is a signal from the Universe that networking is one of the keys to survival.

I've been thinking about something like this lately. I think there are a lot of us who can't make ends meet. But just by networking, why not create a bulletin board here with job offers? Make that board both for offers and requests.

Here there are illustrators, designers, musicians, etc. Highly creative professions but with a lot of competition in a merciless market.

Just a thought.

Interesting idea. We could also share business ideas or tips. For example, while reading about GenAI, I stumbled upon a marketplace where creators can sell carefully crafted prompts (i.e. text inputs to GenAI; instead of painting Mona Lisa, you textually describe it so well that the AI machine has no other choice than to produce Mona Lisa!). I couldn't believe my eyes!

Yea i think what @Bluegazer said is an interesting idea too.. To put jobs or ideas up. That AI looks like it could be a useful tool for someone like me who isn't great at the writing and business side of things aswel..
I've got time at the moment because I'm on universal credit, but the money worries are definitely getting to me again so I'm looking for another low end job now, will try to work stuff around it as best i can! :D
Or at least for a while until I do something, who knows what.

I did manage to record a few demo songs whilst being on UC, they still need loads of work though. And I've made these house things, but last few weeks I didn't make much. Moved my boat to a different place to be nearer my brother a few months ago (he's the only close family left now) and there's more work around here too. But I don't know anyone around here so it's been difficult recently. It's not as easy to find decent work even here either, i called ten bike shops and no work available there.

So I've been looking at whatever, warehouse, cleaning retail etc. Would prefer cleaning or something as you don't have to listen to the annoying music they put on everywhere, in shops and cafes, pubs etc (even in warehouses) it's hard to escape!

Even cleaning jobs you need a drivers licence for most of them and I just cycle/walk. (I know, should have learned to drive when I could afford it... :) It was kinda a conscious choice too, as i lost my mum/dad and sister to health issues, just have to keep moving it seems. . So sit down jobs aren't a good option either. Anyway thanks for your other comment, really made me laugh :)

Been making some tealight houses that you can change and move around to create different shapes.
It's just airdry clay at the mo, will do some proper ones in future. I did actually move the curtains after I took these pics, definitely a health and safety issue there lol! They're a bit crude but hoping to make and sell a couple in future when I've practiced more.
