Just to wrap this up: the problem was on my end. I finally got fed up with Safari last night and reinstalled firefox. I can see the pics you originally posted!

Oh no... I hope you didn't do all that because you couldn't see the photos I posted? My server was down for over 12 hours...right when you posted you couldn't see the pics. :scared:

Not to worry, I finally got fed up after experiencing several problems with either viewing websites, pics or uploading stuff. I've been a Firefox user for years now and just settled for Safari when I had to do a complete reinstall of my os a few months back. Last night was the last straw!

Ahhhh, I can relate to that...sometimes nothing less than a complete reinstall will do ;D

Hope it works ok now.

I, too, was thinking of you in your Wonder Woman outfit riding your red paint with her red tack. :D

Actually, for Halloween this year, I was thinking of going as Xena now that I have a horse ...already got the sword

 Got an image in my head of you backflipping out of the saddle to slap a BP exec when I read this....and the pie plate comment brought up the song "Joxer the Mighty". :wow: :rotfl:

And I'm in love with the new girl, and very happy for you! Always loved horses, but am too allergic to be around them. (Like hospital allergic, though it never keeps me out of a pasture if someone wants a good scratch.)

Re: the x-men, loved em when I was a kid, still love em to a degree, don't care if the movies got things 'right' or not. What I liked most? The quirky humor that shone through in the images: like the character of Beast answering a phone, typing on a computer and writing a message with his feet all at the same time. ;D

Fun thread and a welcome grin!

ROFL...maybe twenty years ago. As it stands now, I'm going to have to teach her to give me a hoof up :P

We're trying to get the holes dug for the main posts to the barn. It's been raining on and off, so at least the ground is soft, but it starting to look like we are living on top of solid quartz and granite. We get about 1 1/2' down and the auger hits solid rock.

I'm not going to be able to put the barn right next to the house like I wanted :(
Even if I could get through the rock, there is a HUGE cherry tree, and the wilted leaves are toxic to the horse, so I had to move her barn and paddock...but that's ok. I'll still be able to see her out the windows.

She recognizes the sound of my truck now, and is at the gate waiting for me when I go visit. I'd like to think it's my personality she's attracted to...but I'm fairly certain it's the carrots.

You have much in you're life Guardian. What a beautiful way to be so recognized and loved by an animal straight off. To have the great good fortune to be loved by all who wish you well is a gift unto itself. You are very lucky I think. And I know that lovely animal is home and happy. Again, lucky you!
