ICE agent fatally shoots protester in Minneapolis: Self-defense or police brutality?

Within the realm of possibility . . .

Possible yes, but I wonder if it is even necessary at this point? It looks like we are seeing the pendulum swing to the right and Israel-ification of USA that many on this forum predicted 2+ years ago. The incidents look more cosmically planned than they do human planned, in an "all is lessons" sense.

The first Minnesota incident was a bit ambiguous, and although I strongly sided against the agent, I can see now the other perspective. This recent incident seems more clear cut, to the point where a huge number of MAGA voices, in order to maintain their stance, are being forced to blatantly lie that the man was pointing a gun.

I could understand if their stance was simply that mistakes happen, this is going to be a messy business but it's worth it in the end to get the illegals out. Instead of saying this, they appear to be making things up, and it's concerning. Many of these are people who saw through the green agenda, the covid scam, and much more. Things may truly be about to get stranger than we can imagine.

And then we have this:

Schumer Announces Senate Democrats Will Block DHS Funding Bill Over Minneapolis Shooting
In a move that could trigger a partial government shutdown, Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer declared that Democrats will not provide the votes needed to advance a key appropriations bill if it includes funding for the Department of Homeland Security.

To advance the legislation, Republicans will likely need eight Democrats to vote for the legislation, since Sen. Rand Paul has generally voted against appropriations bills. If the funding package does not pass the Senate, there will be another partial government shutdown.

This article has this ending note:
Pretti had confronted agents in the midst of an operation with a loaded gun and two magazines.

Never mind the loaded gun and two magazines were on his person and not whipped out to threaten agents and his only "confrontation" was to try and defend fellow female protestors being aggressively abused by ICE.

Family of Alex Pretti, the Armed Man Shot by Federal Agents in Minneapolis, Calls Trump Admins Claims About His Actions Sickening and Reprehensible

In their statement to CNN, posted on X by Brian Stelter, the Pretti family wrote:

“We are heartbroken but also very angry.

Alex was a kindhearted soul who cared deeply for his family and friends and also the American veterans whom he cared for as an ICU nurse at the Minneapolis VA hospital. Alex wanted to make a difference in this world. Unfortunately he will not be with us to see his impact. I do not throw around the hero term lightly. However his last thought and act was to protect a woman.

The sickening lies told about our son by the administration are reprehensible and disgusting. Alex is clearly not holding a gun when attacked by Trump’s murdering and cowardly ICE thugs. He has his phone in his right hand and his empty left hand is raised above his head while trying to protect the woman ICE just pushed down all while being pepper sprayed.

Please get the truth out about our son. He was a good man. Thank you.”

The BS narrative:
Border Patrol Chief Greg Bovino has said that Pretti was at the scene with the intention of massacring ICE agents.

“The suspect also had two loaded magazines and no accessible ID. This looks like a situation where an individual wanted to do maximum damage and massacre law enforcement,” Bovino said.

Disgusting, shameless, and unhinged. If this is the mindset of the ICE agents, then is it any surprise they have no problem shooting someone nine times! :curse:
