One wonders if that particular hippo had lost a baby to a crocodile attack and thus, was personally affected by the sight of another helpless animal being attacked? Nonetheless, an amazing encounter, but with a sad end. One can only hope that some comfort was conveyed before death occurred.

Talking about dancing animals, I thought that I would share this pair of dancers. Though not as fluid and graceful as a horse doing dressage movements (but, then , there are few thinks more graceful other than ballet dancers, but that's just my take on it ;)) I find that watching these two is quite interesting.

Actually, it is the same woman and dog dancers. They were one of the pioneers in that field.
