One of the things that Syrian girl pointed out last week was that Jordan, Saudi Arabia, and the Egyptian governments have “peace” deals with Israel. And their populations don’t like it. In her discussion with George Galloway, she expressed her hope that the populations of those countries would overthrow their gov, and in particular she brought up that Egypt better hurry up, as the Israeli’s plan is; once inside Egypt is to take the Sinai and the Suez Canal. “Times a wasting Egypt”.
Today there “may” be something happening along those lines. Several outlets are now reporting that the Egyptians are refusing to work with Israel. They see the Israeli’s as too aggressive and should not be in Rafah with their tanks and flags.
Israel has basically acknowledged this as said, ok, ok “when were done” we will turn the Rafah border area over to an American (un-named) mercenary army to maintain the Egyptian border. You know a third party to be impartial and fair. OK?
A few quotes from the articles posted below:
"Angered by the expansion of Israel’s operation in Rafah since it took control of the crossing, Egypt is reportedly refusing to coordinate with Israel regarding its operation."
"High-level Egyptian sources were quoted in several domestic and regional outlets on Saturday night acknowledging prior coordination between Egypt and Israel prior to the invasion of the border crossing last week and noting Egypt’s refusal to cooperate further due to Israel’s escalation."
"A high-level source told the state-aligned Al-Qahera News on Saturday evening that Egypt refused to coordinate with Israel regarding the Rafah crossing due to the “unacceptable Israeli escalation.”
"Similarly, an Israeli official cited in Sky News Arabia said that “there was coordination with Cairo before controlling the Rafah crossing, but Egypt withdrew after tanks were pictured and the Israeli flag was waved at the Rafah crossing.”
"According to Haaretz, the Israeli occupation government, in order to secure the deal, has been negotiating with "a private company in the US that specializes in assisting armies and governments around the world engaged in military conflicts. The company has operated in several African and Middle Eastern countries, guarding strategic sites like oil fields, airports, army bases, and sensitive border crossings. It employs veterans of elite US Army units."
"Allegedly, Tel Aviv also pledged "not to damage the crossing's facilities to ensure its continuous operation," alleging that the "private American security company will assume management of the crossing after the IDF [Israeli occupation forces] concludes its operation."
