Thick clouds of smoke rise from Beirut’s southern suburbs after the Israeli airstrike a few min agoIsrael launched an intense wave of air raids on southern Lebanon on Monday, with 100 aircraft targeting about 120 sites in the space of an hour, according to the country’s military.
This feature length investigation by Al Jazeera’s Investigative Unit exposes Israeli war crimes in the Gaza Strip through the medium of photos and videos posted online by Israeli soldiers themselves during the year long conflict. The I-Unit has built up a database of thousands of videos, photos and social media posts. Where possible it has identified the posters and those who appear. The material reveals a range of illegal activities, from wanton destruction and looting to the demolition of entire neighbourhoods and murder. The film also tells the story of the war through the eyes of Palestinian journalists, human rights workers and ordinary residents of the Gaza Strip. And it exposes the complicity of Western governments – in particular the use of RAF Akrotiri in Cyprus as a base for British surveillance flights over Gaza.“The west cannot hide, they cannot claim ignorance. Nobody can say they didn’t know,” says Palestinian writer, Susan Abulhawa. This is “the first livestream genocide in history … If people are ignorant they are wilfully ignorant,” she says.
The Grayzone has put out a good documentary on how Israel goes about brainwashing the western media and their audiences. We all know they lie, but the credulity of western audiences is what needs to be challenged. To be honest, I don't hold out much hope that Joe Public will ever see through the fog of propaganda. The "Hannibal Directive" is explored here in full. Worth a watch if you're not already exhausted by the misery in the ME thus far.

In early 2023, months before Israel launched its genocidal war on Palestinians, renowned French anthropologist Emmanuel Todd opined that World War III had begun.Today, with major wars escalating in both West Asia and Ukraine, Todd's assessment seems prophetic. To examine the trajectories of these wars, Dimitri Lascaris spoke with Dr. Jeffrey Sachs. Dr. Sachs is a professor at Columbia University. From 2001 to 2018, he was Special Advisor to the UN Secretary General. He also was an economic adviser to Soviet President Mikhail Gorbachev and his successor, Russian President Boris Yeltsin.According to Dr. Sachs, direct attacks on Iran by Israel and the United States could draw Russia and China into a world-historical confrontation with the West.
Deputy of the Supreme Leader's Representative in the IRGC 'Based on Islamic principles and ethics, the construction and use of nuclear weapons and weapons of mass destruction in general is not permissible. However, if it becomes necessary to safeguard the lives, property, and honor of the Muslims and the Iranian population, the Islamic Republic of Iran will undoubtedly reconsider its stance on the development of its nuclear program and take the required actions.'
TEHRAN, Oct 9 — RIA Novosti. Iran may withdraw from the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty amid expectations of a strike from Israel, Alaeddin Boroujerdi, a member of the parliamentary commission on national security and foreign policy, told RIA Novosti.
"The discussion of the option of withdrawing from the Treaty on the Non-Proliferation of Nuclear Weapons is in fact a serious debate in parliament. Deputies are seriously considering the possibility of making such a decision," the agency's source said.
" WE are living through times where evil has manifested itself with an almost revelation like obstrusiveness and power. We have learned to understand the medieval legends about monks who, being vouchsafed a glimpse of hell, would never smile or speak again. The apocalyptic beast let lose has been a reality to our generation and nobody knows what is still ahead for us."I find myself wondering how long it will be before the Zionists destoy the Al-Aqsa Mosque. I really do think they are crazy enough to do so now. They seem to think they can do anything.
Израиль сообщил об аресте Исмаил Каани и лидеров КСИРIsrael announced the arrest of Ismail Kaani and IRGC leaders
The head of the Quds division of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), Ismail Kaani, allegedly did not die along with Hezbollah leader Hashem Safi al-Din as a result of recent events in Beirut. According to recent reports, Kaani and other senior IRGC figures could have been arrested and are under investigation on suspicion of collaborating with Israeli intelligence, which caused a serious outcry within the organization.
It is assumed that the reason for the arrests was the fact of deep infiltration of Israeli intelligence into the IRGC structures, which jeopardized the security of the organization. This incident has caused alarm in Iran and Lebanon, as it concerns a violation of the security of one of the key units of the Iranian armed forces responsible for operations outside the country, including support for Hezbollah and other armed groups.
Ismail Kaani heads the Quds Special Forces, which handles the IRGC's external operations, including military and intelligence missions. He took over this post after the death of Qasem Soleimani in a US strike in 2020. His possible arrest came as a surprise to many, as Kaani was seen as one of Iran's leading strategists on the international stage.
