Jordan Peterson: Gender Pronouns and Free Speech War

Funny since New Zealand was one of the first countries to allow women to vote.
I guess, since it has been observing at many places, the descendents of the feminist movement that obtained the right to vote is being change/ had morphed to the nowadays artificial parameters as lawyer Rodrigo Fernández Diez mentions below. The whole interview is very interesting, though.

As the introduction says, "Interview with Mr. Rodrigo Fernández Diez, following his expulsion from the Universidad Panamericana where he was Professor of Roman Law and History of Legal Culture."

His case was not known, not mentioned at any media, just at social networks

Rodrigo Fernández was expulsed by the university due a private messages that were leaked in relationship with the past Internacional Women's Day march at Mexico City . He made several comments that were not good taken mostly by the female law students.

Note: Universidad Panamericana is a Catholic University (Opus Dei)
Rodrigo Fernández Diez: A reminder that truth is not relative

Question: Does the ideology of human rights have any relationship with the culture of victimization?

Answer: It seems to, for it inculcates the desire to demand class privileges - later individual privileges - based on the identification of frustrations. By virtue of it, already uprooted individuals are encouraged to renounce their few authentic ties in order to form others according to artificial or purely theoretical parameters. Scientific socialism called it, decades ago, the process of creating "class consciousness", in reality a mode of alienation, and which is one of the concrete applications of the revolutionary principle fraternité. Thus, a Vietnamese proletarian would have more in common with a Canadian proletarian - at least in his head - than with his neighbor the small merchant; or a Uruguayan teenager would have more in common with a French teenager than with the members of her own family, with whom she shares not only blood ties but even daily coexistence. It is an entirely artificial process of psychological character whose extraordinary success seems to be due to the generation -from a mixture of real and not so real elements- of an impression of persecution of the "class" to which one belongs.

This is also the reason why the liberal-conservative right wing claims that feminism is a form of "cultural Marxism," but I think they are wrong, because this manipulative dichotomy that divides society into oppressors and oppressed is not exclusive to leftist liberalisms in general, nor even to Marxism in particular, but had already appeared in the French Revolution itself and, to a certain extent, in the Protestant Reformation itself. Both in De captivitate babylonica ecclesiae and in To the Christian Nobility of the German Nation, Martin Luther already deploys this kind of rhetoric.

His relationship with human rights - in my opinion - lies in the particular twist that the 1948 Declaration gave, at least in the media, to its postulates. The Declaration of 1789 had been branded - with some justification - as a catalog of bourgeois rights. The 1948 Declaration, on the other hand, was presented as a catalog of the rights of the underdog, in a context in which German and Italian totalitarianism had just been defeated and news of the horrors of the Holocaust was spreading as a result of the Nuremberg Trials. To this we can add the enormous media influence that the cinema had in the following decades, with at least one film every year related to the Holocaust, the civil rights movement in the United States or apartheid in South Africa, hammering incessantly into the popular conscience the topic of the victimization of minorities.

Don't get me wrong, the films of that genre are extraordinary -they always involved the best talents of the entertainment industry-. What I am referring to is the effect -I ignore whether intentional or not- of implanting the criterion of the "liberating" as the just, as well as the search for "liberation" as a parameter of individual heroism. The hero of this cinema is, in general terms, the social or ideological activist. Which is not entirely new, since it is already found in the cliché of the "altruistic bourgeois" present in 19th century literature, as any avid reader of the Russian Golden Age can verify. And now that cell phones, the Internet and social networks have allowed the adolescent bourgeois to participate in this spirit through media lynching, there seems to be an unstoppable avalanche, because in a way it has "democratized" this new heroism, while the ideological discourse of human rights provides institutional support, not necessarily from its prerogatives in a technical sense, but through its validity as a new morality, as a new ethic, as a new religion. In this sense, the altruistic bourgeois of our time participates in what is known in English as self-righteousness - a term I have never been able to translate - and therefore does not feel malignant but, on the contrary, a sort of monopoly holder of morality. He is the new Puritan.

Thanks, I did watch this, Jennifer Bilek, and have to say that she connects dots - with much, here and there, reported on SOTT over the years, and yet she keys it to a 2014 ignition switch (from prior priming). She points out two players, with more that followed their heels as it created steam.

Jennifer lays out the case for the roots of the fetish that society has largely fallen for, hook, line and sinker – the top down push and trial run to create the illusion of transhumanism in the flesh, to prepare and use up humanity. Simply put, they are harvesting ignorance while manufacturing mental and physical pain. The profits have become stupendous, all while distracting humanity and at the same time, inculcation our thinking behind the screen of an ideological cult. It is an industry; banking, tech, pharma, education, law and of course, medical. It got its political legs from the lobbyists/philanthropists and representative weakness. None dare in citizenry to voice – they count on it.

Jennifer Bilek is an investigative journalist, a feminist and a leading voice really looking behind the curtain at who is pushing this TRANS AGENDA!

In this interview, we discuss one of the most controversial subjects of our time: the massive effort to promote transgenderism and to push "gender-affirming care" on children. Everyone has heard of the documentary "What is a Woman" but that film didn't dare ask: "Who is behind this?"

If the parents are aware of this then the these kids are very unlucky.
Not sure what is the setting for this event. Looks like a kindergarten to me.

Toy store Build-a-Bear introduces new RuPaul drag queen bear
Build-a-Bear Workshop’s new RuPaul drag queen bear has divided customers who claim the store is ‘grooming’ children. The glamorous bear comes with a curly blonde wig, gold sequin dress, and gold pumps and includes the ‘RuPaul’s Drag Race’ logo on the bear’s paw. ‘Start your engines—RuPaul Bear is ready to sashay into your collection,’ the item’s description on ‘The Bear Cave’ website — an 18+ section of the Build-a-Bear site.

According to the Daily Mail, The stuffed animal immediately caused outrage online with many calling out the business for selling the bear amid growing controversy regarding drag performances and children around the U.S.

‘Remember: there’s absolutely no agenda to groom your kids. Don’t be ridiculous. On an unrelated note, @buildabear is selling a drag queen stuffed bear for children,’ wrote notable conservative Matt Walsh.

Controversy first erupted online with Walsh’s tweet, which included a screengrab of the Build-a-Bear website with the RuPaul bear advertised. The drag queen bear is stated as being included in ‘The Bear Cave’ but still shown on the general website which is accessible to all.

‘I’m told that the bear is sold in a section of the site that’s “intended for 18+ shoppers.” Except that they have the drag bear right on the front page, front and center, alongside the Easter merchandise,’ Walsh wrote to his 1.5 million followers.

‘”Cover BEAR! Put the fur in your walk. Head to paw, let your whole body talk,”‘ the website reads. ‘Two iconic pop culture institutions join forces for this one-of-a-kind collector’s item made in tribute to the world’s most famous drag queen,’ it continues.

‘Category is teddy bear realness with RuPaul Bear’s signature wig and gold sequin dress included,’ the description reads. As of Monday morning, it appears the 18+ bear has been removed from the main website’s carousel of revolving bears and pages.

The damage had already been done for many, however, as the tweet gained traction on the social media app, amassing more than 500,000 views in days.

Many agreed with Walsh’s outrage and said they find it ‘disturbing’ for a drag queen bear to be advertised so openly to children. ‘Is nothing sacred??’ asked one Twitter user. ‘Another company to avoid buying from. This is disgusting. Shame on your groomers,’ wrote one angry person.

‘Dear @buildabear, Y’all are groomers. Signed, concerned parents,’ one person wrote in a quote of Walsh’s original tweet. Others online pointed out Build-a-Bear Workshop having an 18+ website in general is curious and questionable.

‘It’s also concerning that there’s a marketplace for “+18 shoppers” at Build-a-Bear,’ wrote one woman in a response to Walsh’s tweet. ‘The real question is why is there even an “18+ shoppers” section at a teddy bear store??’ another responded.

Hockey Night goes Trans:

Canadians took to social media to express their bewilderment about what drag shows have to do with the sport of hockey.

Some noted how while they have no problem with drag shows, they did not pay to go to a hockey game to be entertained by one.
[..]
Others commented on how drag shows were a form of adult entertainment and not “family friendly” as sports events should be.

The NHL has been reckoning with players who have refused to don pride-themed jerseys during pre-game warm ups.
A number of players including most recently Florida Panthers players Eric and Marc Staal, San Jose Sharks goalie James Reimer and Buffalo Sabers’ Ilya Lyubushkin have cited their religious beliefs as the reason behind refusing to wear the jerseys.

Is wokeness a cult? The alarming rise of the culture of death: An interview with Dr James Lindsay

  • April 05, 2023
In recent times, we have seen an alarming trend towards a culture of death. The rise of doctor-assisted suicide in Canada, where one in three deaths are now caused by medically assisted suicide, is a perfect example of this.

The Ontario College of Physicians and Surgeons even recommends that doctors hide what they are doing by reporting these deaths as the result of an underlying condition. This move is abominable and has the potential to create a pre-Christian, pre-Jewish, and prehistoric moral code of violence.

The movie Apocalypto, directed by Mel Gibson, set in Central America just before the arrival of the conquistadors, is a perfect depiction of this culture of death. The film is based on the human sacrifice on giant pyramids and brings to mind the question of whether we are reverting to pre-Christian barbarity.

Another example of the culture of death is the rise of the cult of transgenderism. In recent times, we have seen adults sacrificing children, which is the opposite of what we have seen in the past. Parents are doing anything to sexualize their children, even going as far as putting them on hormones and puberty blockers, and even engaging in body-defiling surgeries, irrevocable steps that are not only damaging but could be life-threatening.

On tonight's episode of the Ezra Levant Show, Ezra asks if we are reverting to pre-Christian barbarity, and is wokeness a cult? One of the intellectuals fighting the battle of woke more than anyone else is Dr. James Lindsay, who joins Ezra for a special interview.

Dr Lindsay suggests that our understanding of this issue is best described under the concept of tacit knowledge. Tacit knowledge refers to the knowledge that is gained from experience and is not formally taught. It is the experience that we have in our daily lives, which is not explicitly mentioned but is instead learned through observation and experience.

The culture of death and the rise of the cult of transgenderism are related, and they are the result of our society's adoption of a wokeness culture. Wokeness culture is a cult-like mindset that involves conforming to specific ideologies and adhering to the beliefs and behaviors associated with those ideologies.

In recent times, there has been a significant push to normalize wokeness ideology, which has led to the rise of the cult of transgenderism. This ideology promotes the notion that individuals can change their gender at will and that biological sex is a social construct. As a result, parents are willing to sacrifice their children's well-being by subjecting them to these damaging practices.

The rise of wokeness culture has led to the normalization of the culture of death, where doctor-assisted suicide is becoming increasingly acceptable. The normalization of this practice is a reflection of our society's inability to cope with the idea of death and our lack of respect for the value of life.

Wokeness culture is a cult-like mindset that is promoting these ideologies, and we must resist its normalization to preserve our society's moral fabric.

I heard about this from Josh Slocum's Disaffected podcast yesterday. I didn't hear/see any of this on the news here in Ontario, Canada.

Ontario NDP calls for public safety zones for drag performances, LGBTQ+ community

April 4, 2023 - Ontario NDP MPP Kristyn Wong-Tam announced on Tuesday morning that she was introducing a private members' bill that would allow the province's attorney general to temporarily designate addresses — such as where a drag show or LGBTQ+ event is taking place — as community safety zones. Wong-Tam said the move is in response to a "rise in hate" facing the LGBTQ+ community, including drag artists, across both Ontario and the nation, calling it "alarming." Under the bill, anti-LGBTQ2S harassment, intimidation and hate speech within 100 metres would be subject to a $25,000 fine. The bill would also create an "Ontario 2SLGBTQI+ Safety Advisory Committee" to give recommendations to the provincial government on how to provide better safety. Drag performer Scarlett Bobo, who also starred on the first season of "Canada's Drag Race" spoke during the press conference with Wong-Tam. She said she deals with "homophobia, hate crimes, and acts of purposeful intent to intimidate and now disqualify who I am as a person and what I do as a job." Bobo said everyone deserves to feel safe and valued in their work
