Jordan Peterson: Gender Pronouns and Free Speech War

In the meantime, we’ll be going full force for PA, and keeping his message across his brand alive while he recovers.

I've been reading Stephen Jenkinson' book Die Wise, and have been thinking about how what people say and what they don't say when death is in the air can give an indication of their character or mindset, and also the circumstances of the life that is moving towards death.

In Mikhaila's case, her Dad is possibly dying - but she made sure to tell everyone she'll keep his brand alive? The business language seems to me like like a plea to investors and consumers to not withdraw from the family business venture. Maybe I'm being overly cynical, but if this is any indication of the Petersons' approach to life at this time, then keeping his brand alive is probably a major factor in what is draining his life force.

Good point about the brand comment, it's odd.. very odd to think of your dad's legacy as a brand. But it does kind of explain what happened to him, when he became ideologically possessed and started behaving predictably. He became so fixed in that position that he started to make the predictable blunders of someone on the right, and lost his connection with the people that made his "brand" valuable.

Sucks but there it is.

I think it’s pretty common for people to refer to their business as it relates to individual names as brands. It’s been a notable trend these past years. When people on the business side of big names talk with others in the running of their business I’d wager talking about their ‘brand’ is usual ‘business talk’. But she is talking to fans here not others in the business and that does show a disconnect when dealing with JPs serious health issues and possible death. She might be going through denial, maybe she is actually more concerned with his brand, or maybe she just isn’t that thoughtful or empathic. I’d give her the benefit of the doubt and a bit of room to process these things though as I’d imagine it is quite difficult and stressful for her and her family now.

To be fair, the way she worded it, she didn’t emphasise ‘brand’ and keeping his brand alive, she emphasised ‘message’, saying they’re going to keep the message across his brand alive, which could be interpreted as meaning that they’ll keep putting out content they think he would approve of across the reach of his internet and social media platforms.

Among other things I find it interesting that this is again happening to Peterson right before and during things are really heating up, this time around the topic of Kirk and Israel/Mossad in general and his “best friend“ Netanyahu.

As far as I remember, Peterson was also “taken out“ right before the Covid thing started and in the crucial first phases of it.

My best guess is that what is happening now might be a combination of both: an extreme spiritual disconnect between his teachings and what he is supporting with/in Israel and possibly forces trying to take him out again. Although my bet is mostly that it is a spiritual crisis of Petersons own making.

Exactly which ‘message’ is she referring to? Clean your room or give them hell?

Mikhaila had said something in the above address concerning her dad's health, about their late July recording during a call-in show, which is when her dad quickly faltered after, she had said. In early July, JP also spoke with Scott Adams, who is suffering over his own health matters, on the DW. So had a listen to them both. One thing JP said of the mess of how bad things are (reference to the ways in the past decades with a biblical historical gloss) was (to paraphrase) 'doing something corrupt and sanctifying it.'

Think about that spiritually. If reversed, what would the mirror say to himself? Has he been sanctifying mass corruption and evil? No, currently it is not possible for him to think that way, yet he can easily ascribe it to opposite with a straight and righteous face. And while in some cases he may be correct of the opposite, it is not the whole banana. Deep down, what is his soul whispering to himself?

JP had been a beacon though many bad years, as can be seen, when suddenly he became a pied piper of sorts for whoever would follow into a world of great ugliness and despair.

May he have an epiphany.

The later July call-in show with Mikhaila seems to be this Eps 568 (have not listened to it).

Perhaps, it's still a bit of a funky way to word it. I realize that public figures become brands of sorts, but describing it as such still seems funky to me. Because it does kind of speak of the way that, perhaps, they all saw Jordan Peterson, not as a person with a message but rather a brand that adopted his name.

Which then adds the financial angle to their choices, a brand doesn't comport morally, a brand is meant to be profitable, and maybe part of their approach to his public appearances deviated from his consciousness and leaned towards the brand, which would then also explain why he became kind of a caricature of an intellectual right winger.

I think if she had said something like, his message alive and his companies stable, could be more understandable because there's a moral angle to that as people depend on their salary. Maybe I'm being too nitpicky.

On another note, I do remember that one story of Cayce and the kid with a great future and the parents that over protected him, and how the soul had decided to check out. I wonder if perhaps something similar is taking place, maybe the greatness of JBP's soul isn't tied to what he's done in this life but what he's capable of learning after he goes. And maybe his soul does find itself at odds with this incarnation, hence the health issues.
