Lots of forum members are going. Until now we have kept it private, for various reasons, on the FOTCM members area, but since we've now announced it on Sott etc, there's no reason not to start a thread on the open forum for all other forum members interested in attending.

The conference will most likely be video taped, although at this stage, we can't say whether or not the video will be made public. We would like to see as many forum members as possible attend though.

I would like very much to attend, but since it is a long and expensive trip from South America I'm trying to schedule my vacations as to attend the conference and maybe spend some time in the neighboring countries.

By the way, I don't know how many attendees will be coming from overseas, but I was wondering if maybe an EE course could be held maybe the day after the conference. Right after reading about the conference I thought to myself how great it would be to have some EE classes too!

look at my last post there you can get a ticket.
50 € without translation receiver and 55 € with translation receiver.

you can also do this:

The office ticket price (the same day of the event) is 60 Euro or 65 Euros if you require a translator receptor. You can save 10 Euros with the online registration for the event before the date October 15, 2011 !!

but I don't think there still will be tickets available on that date.

What an excellent opportunity. Not sure if we can afford the travel, but will certainly look into it (that is, unless there's thoughts of coming to Canada).

I noticed a lot of English mistakes on the conference pages. They all seem like typical translation errors. Is there any way to have them fixed? I thought it might impact on perceptions of professionalism and some might think twice about sending their money to the organizers.
