"Love, Reality, and the Time of Transition" [Video]

Excellent Job! The audio is really clear and your voice(s) really stand above the music and is easily understood (for me and my hearing problem). A great amount of information that is easy to understand and down to earth. Thank you VERY MUCH!

Well done, everyone who collaborated to bring this video to fruition.
All the information was easy to follow, yet to the point, and it certainly didn't pull any punches on the reality of the situation on the BBM.
Keep'em coming guys!

Excellent video!! I watched it the other night. It touched me deeply, brought tears to my eyes even. Maybe it was the narration, the voice and the accent reminded me of my father. Maybe it woke up my inner child. I will have to watch it again, as an adult!!

But seriously, it is a genuine work of art. Well researched and put together. It is very apparent that you guys invested alot of time and hard work. A true labor of love. Thank you for sharing it. I will be passing it on.

Thoroughly enjoyed watching this. Thanks guys.

Yes really good job: the visuals, music and most of all the narrative!

Whilst I was watching the documentary I got caught up in a tangled web of senses. There was the music, the moving pictures, the commentary, and there were the quotes... So the dilemma I found myself in was I kept getting caught by the moving pictures and this made me not hear what was being said, so I had to go back and replay over and over again since I wanted to hear all the words... However, this isn't a criticism on the moving pictures - the movie clips - they were actually quite effective, abit to effective that they take away attention from the ears especially when the words and scenes in the clip don't match up with the commentary unlike the video of the lady in the festival giving her speech... I hope this makes sense.

Did anybody else experience this?

I experienced something similar. I had to sort of 'ignore' the visuals and just focus on the text. But as luke wilson points out this is not to criticize the visuals themselves. It was a visual feast and I must also point out that I thoroughly enjoyed the soundtrack! Great work and thanks for posting the transcript. That's very helpful and now to go back and re-read it a few times so that everything sinks in properly.

Here here, lovely presentation! Thank you Spiral Out and De-tached!
BTW loved the heartfelt video insert of Marianne Williamson :hug2:

Yes, at times. Maybe you could think of remaining focused on what was being presented in any given moment as working on all three centers at once?

Another fantastic job guys, well done

I understand what you are saying, Luke. Our intention was to make this video speak to different centers. So we took much time to find the right images/videos for the the narration and also find the right music (from our subjective taste/point of view) that fit the narration and images/videos. There is a lot of detail that went into making this film and it took us longer than the UFO documentary since there are many different topics covered.

We didn't want this to be just information for the intellectual center, but also get an emotional reaction through sounds and images. None of it is randomly chosen, but music, narration, quotes and visuals are all synced up with different moods, dynamics and ambient to make it flow nicely. It's all layered and everyone also sees it in a different way depending what one is focused on when watching it or how one responds to it.

De-tached and I come from an artistic background, him being a visual artist and me being a musician, so naturally this comes through in our work. We also give brutal honest suggestions/feedback to each other until we're satisfied to make the best possible production and since we're both perfectionists it takes us some time to do it right. Even now when I watch it again after a while, I can see little things here and there (like certain timings and cuts) that could have been better. But with any creative work, one needs to let it go at one point and just let it be..... I think with any creative work I have done in my life so far, I was never 100% satisfied (mostly finding details that no one else notices but me) and I think it's the same for de-tached. There is always room for improvement and we learn more while doing it.

I also think Kniall made a good suggestion to try to focus on all centers at once. It's also a video that should be viewed several times, imo, kinda like a film or music piece where you always see/hear something new when you watch/listen to it again attentively.

Thanks for that feedback.

Thank you for your good work!! It touched me on all levels. Really, it was mind blowing, and heart-opening experience.
