Those are indeed good news! Thanks for letting us know T.C, with that being said, this period of recovery after the surgery is still crucial, so I wouldn’t rest yet for a period of time, on any measure you do to protect yourself, even if the results are all positive, just in case.

Good news. The CT scan has been discussed in a meeting of the uro-oncology multi-disciplinary team (MDT) and there are no signs of cancer in any of my organs.

So my case has been transferred to the germ-cell oncology MDT (the ones who specialise in cancer in the reproductive organs). They will be the ones who discuss the results of the analysis of the testicle itself. Once they’ve had their meeting, I’ll get an appointment to go back to the hospital to discuss everything and see what, if anything, needs to happen next.

Nice work. In my case I had 6 years of observation, starting with a CT scan every 3 months, then 6 months then yearly.

Great news T.C.! I am in the process of ordering some fenbendazole from Serena. We figure the 1 kg (2.2 lbs!) will last us almost a year and a half.

No, not yet. When the testicle/biopsies have been analysed, the results will be discussed in the meeting of the germ-cell MDT. Should be pretty soon I'm assuming. Either this week or next.

The tumour in my testicle has been confirmed as a seminoma, which is a type of malignant cancer. Specialists at a hospital in another city close to me will look at my case to determine whether they think I need other treatments or, in light of the negative CT scans, whether the removal of the testicle followed by regular monitoring will be enough.

I'm sorry to hear that, T.C. It'll be good to know what all your options are and maybe look at the success rate, if such data exists, of each possible/recommended approach.
