Could someone explain to me why singing mantra's is a no-no here? Is it a no-no in general? Or only in this specific context? Would it be a no-no in general because of the fact that it can be likened to a ritual, which is said to drain energy to STS? Why is that? Are all rituals and ceremonies like this or are there lineages of STO beings with whom ceremonies are carried out? In the Law of One by Ra material there is a lot on the benefits of sweat lodges for example, which could be seen as a ritual/ceremony. Hence my confusion, especially having done ceremonies myself and having perceived some benefits, even though I stay skeptical, mainly because of what the C's said. Could someone point me to relevant literature on the subject or share with me their insights? I would be very grateful.

Not much has been discussed about mantras, at least to my knowledge; but rituals have been brought up quite a number of times.

The Cassiopaeans have said that rituals constrict the flow and that it goes to 4D STS.

Laura once described rituals as being something that one repeats without knowing the how and the why the ritual was originated. One is just repeating the words someone else put together.

Here's a quote from the Cassiopaean session 5 October 1994:

Q: Hello.

A: You are good to do it this way without ritual.

Q: (L) What ritual do you want us to do?

A: None.

Q: (L) Does ritual enhance or prevent communication?

A: Constricts.

And one from session 28 October 1994:

Q: (L) The ideas of candle burning, salt, sage, shamanistic rituals and so forth? Is all this useless?

A: Maybe.

A: You are learning; remember when we say "good no ritual"?

A: Precisely. This is extremely important.

If we do not acknowledge that such things exist, are we then subject to being devoured by them?

A: Ritual drains directly to Lizard beings.

Q: (L) Even our saying of the Lord's prayer?

A: It is okay to pray. Why do you think organized religion is obsessed with rituals?

Q: (L) Is the same thing true of shamanistic practices and so forth?
