'Missing 411', by David Paulides: Tracking unusual missing persons cases

This whole post of yours is a confusing tact to take towards Paulides and his work.
I totally agree. Makes me wonder why someone would want to discredit Paulides' work. Paulides has a heck of a time getting information about these disappearances from the national parks and law enforcement. Which to me indicates that there are people who don't want this information to get out for whatever reasons. So that could be why the discrediting-thing.

And, as Beau said, those claims are a nothing-burger.

He provides the data and lets people make their own opinions. He doesn't want to upset grieving families either. This whole post of yours is a confusing tact to take towards Paulides and his work.
Yeah, I was baffled as well finding a bunch of different people wanting to discredit Paulides, when he is apparently only trying to solve the cases?
The only reason would be if an influential party was involved in making people missing. They would cover up by discrediting investigators.
To show that not that much people are missing, most are found and nothing to see here.
