Morgellons: Controversial disease doctors refuse to treat

Anybody know about 'Morgellons'?

Hi folks

Does anybody here know anything about ‘morgellons’?

Apparently it’s a skin condition where sufferers are invaded by a microscopic parasite that excretes some form of fibres, or strings, of various colors throughout their bodies. It is by all accounts very difficult to live with because the itch is unbearable, and despite the evidence the medical profession refuses to believe it exists. They accuse the sufferers of ‘mass hysteria’.

There is a suggestion in some of the literature that I have seen that the source of the parasites may not be terrestrial.

Just interested to know if anyone else has heard of this and if there is more than the limited information I have been able to find.

Thanks

Madison

Re: Anybody know about 'Morgellons'?

:) how about the search buttom? It was discussed many times in the past :)

Re: Anybody know about 'Morgellons'?

I madison,

Yup, the search engine works very well and it's recommended to try it before starting a new thread. There is a good chance you can find an answer to your question, at least partial. But since you are not used to it yet, here is the main thread about morgellons: Morgellons: Controversial disease doctors refuse to treat. Hope you'll find it interesting. :)

Thank-you Anart. And thanks also to those who reminded me again about the search function. I will have to be more considerate in future. In my haste to take part I forget forget the basics. I can only improve :-[

Thanks

Madison

I just finished reading this thread.

I thought it was worth adding, as it has not come up here yet, that the C's were queried on the subject of Morgellon's (July 29, 2006 http://cassiopaea.org/forum/index.php?topic=20278.0 ). . .

Q: (Perceval) What is the origin of Morgellons disease?

A: Off planet plague.

Q: (Galahad) Oh geez! (Perceval) Is it set to become more..eh..widespread throughout the…

A: To those who are genetically predisposed.

Q: (Perceval) Got a number?

A: Open.

Q: (Galahad) And is this something that the pathocrats are aware of and doing consciously?

A: No.

This fits with the idea of diseases like the Black Plague having extra-terrestrial origins. Though, I wonder if Morgellon's came with a falling piece of rock or from a spore carried on by a grey or lizzie which didn't wash its hands first. . .

Last week I did a two day fast to help clear out some of the unhealthy waste left over from my candida battles. While fasting I was taking diatomaceous earth, which is not normally something I use, and now today my skin is creepy crawly all over. While itching at my arm, I noticed a little red fiber underneath my nails which did not look like it came from my clothing. After cleaning my ears I found more of these fibers on the Q-tips which I put on a piece of paper towel. At first they were completely still until they were placed on a wet surface, and then they began to move! This would explain why my health battles aren't having results, because I wasn't even aware of this bit until now. It makes sense to me that these fibers (or whatever they are) could also lead to leaky gut as well as candida like symptoms.

It is late and I am totally bewildered by finding these things coming out of me. If anyone has any advice as to how I could kill these things please let me know! The colloidal silver sounds like a great idea, and one I will try asap.

I can't say anything for sure, but here's what I'm thinking.

Before you do anything, make sure these "fibres" are indeed alive and organisms. There are certain types of materials which contract and look like they "wiggle" in damp conditions - make sure to cover all possibilities you can before treating this. Also, sometimes when your fingernail/toenail is under stress, gets hit, etc. it can get slightly damaged underneath, which results in fibrelike red-brown injury, sometimes barely noticeable, which can occur close to the edge of the nail and could potentially be such. However, assuming the worst, I've no idea what it is; can't seem to be able to find any information about such condition anywhere. Will get back to you if I do.

It could be useful to post a magnified image of them, if you have means to take such a picture.

Speculation: The feeling of creepy-crawly all over your body... maybe it's your body becoming more sensitive as a result of cleansing?

Hi Matt, in Google are 70.000 pictures if someone put the Morgellons in search engine.
It looks really bad. :(

Out of all things, the simplest didn't come to my mind. It indeed looks similar to what Drea is describing, and to be honest quite scary. Definitely can't ignore this, but also can't find any reliable way of dealing with it - everything seems to be a "blind shot" in this matter.

Also, it seems this disease does indeed have some sort of mental effect on the infected - here's a short extract of the first website that came up from googling the treatments:

Warning: This source is most likely an elaborate advertisement for colloidal silver, but worth taking a look at nonetheless.

I was at a friend’s home repairing her computer. Since I had not seen her in a long time, I had to ask her what all those lesions were that covered her neck, arms and legs. She told me she did not know what is was and she had been to many

doctors including a dermatologist. None of the doctors were able to diagnose her; they merely gave her broad-band antibiotics and sent her home.

She told me that she had many other symptoms; “brain fog” whereby her ability to think and reason had diminished, chronic fatigue; she slept 12 to 18 hours a day and was still tired.

Her entire body “ached” like she had the flu but didn’t.

Here hair and teeth seemed to be under attack from some unknown pathogen.

And most importantly, she had given up all hope. Her family, friends and everyone who knew her believed the doctors when the told her she had “Delusions of Parasitosis” (DOP). You see, she complained about animals or critters coming out of her skin and biting her relentlessly 24/7 under her skin.

From http://careman.wordpress.com/2008/03/21/how-i-discovered-an-effective-treatment-for-morgellons-disease/

Just as Laura said, there might not be as much differnce between Physical and Psychic infection. And even though our "authorities" seem to be unaware of this, it might in the end help them more than not.

This website seem to point towards colloidal silver, too.

These things are very much alive, and they wiggle like worms when they are in a wet environment. If I can get hold of a camera in the near future, I'd be glad to give some examples of what these things look like when they move. In the mean time, I'm going to continue taking the DE, which has made me feel a lot better than I have in years! :) I've been doing some non-anticipatory intent practices with the thought of getting well, and just out of this random event of taking this DE was this discovery made. My brother has been making colloidal silver, and was also the one who supplied the DE, and he is going to give me more of both. Hopefully there will be some progress being made, and I'm also going to look into food grade hydrogren peroxide, in case oxygenation is a factor here.

What this girl was going through sounds like my own situation, although dieting seems to have made a huge difference in the chronic fatigue area. My teeth are in bad shape, my hair is falling out, and there is a good bit of brain fog, but these things are attributable to candida also. Laura's quote is very important here, because it has come to my attention that my psychic hygiene over the years has been lacking, and merits this kind of infection and decay. Thank you for the replies they were helpful.

My name is [ name removed ]. I have a very strange disease, which is shared by thousands of people in this counry.

Please see The Morgellons Filarial Research Organization and The National Association for People with Unidentified Skin Parasites. In 1998 a doctor prescribed Permethrin for me over the phone because I said I had a rash and diarhea. He decided that I had scabies even though he did not examine me. The use of Permethrin caused a cutaneous larval migration that resulted in terrible skin lesions. I suffered with these for months. When the doctor finally saw me he said he did not know what was wrong but gave me Erythromycin and Ultravate skin cream, which made things worse.

I finally saw a naturopathic doctor who gave me bentonite clay to use as a paste on the lesions. This cleared them up. Many, many people are suffering from this disease and are being told that they are delusional by doctors who do not know what this is or will not say. I have a lot more info and would be glad to help your research in any way that I can. Please look at the sites I mentioned. I would also like to know how much bentonite to use internally. This disease involves more than the skin.

Thank you.

RE: Recent reported outbreaks of Morgellons Disease in the Bay Area, California

My opinion is that these types of conditions are real. I don't believe that there is a single cause, but rather, a group of conditions that are not easily diagnosed that share many of the same symptoms ( hence Morgellons Disease ). The first time I came in contact with such a case, a whole family was infected, including their cat. This was somewhere around nine years ago.

The health department was called in to their house, but they could not identify a parasite or any other type of organism. One would definately have thought the entire family, including the cat, was insane.

However, I approached the situation with the assumption that there was an infection of some sort. Yes, these people were VERY mentally and emotionally disturbed. However, I figured that if I were experiencing what they were, I would likely be disturbed as well. On top of that, I'd never seen a psychotic cat before. The cat spent quite a bit of time just running around in circles.

The individual that had asked for my help complained about tiny "jumping threads" he could never see. He'd been tortured with this predicament for several years, describing a sensation of bugs crawling under his skin.

I had him leave the environment, and coat his entire body ( including the hair/head ) with natural bentonite clay. In very short order ( an hour ) he experienced the first moments of relief from this condition in years.

However, after a time, the sensations would return ( a day or more ). He would get temporary relief by repeating the clay coating on his body... Once, he did the clay therapy daily for two weeks and experienced complete relief during this time. However, it wasn't practical for him to continue due to work, etc.

I hypothesized that it may have been a parasitic condition, with a 3 week ( or longer ) life cycle. IF a parasitic infection, based on the complaints, I assumed it lived on the skin, or just beneath the skin, possibly incubating in the ears or hair.

I traced his infection back to a neighbor he once had who was an elderly woman originally from a remote tribe in Africa. The individual and his family had several unpleasant "neighborly" encounters with this individual; shortly thereafter became infected; then moved to a new area of town in hopes of finding relief.

On studying old remedies, I found that garlic was often used for parasites. Since I believed the infection was a skin infection with external body manifestations, I had the individual shower very well, apply clay over the entire body ( thinly coated but covering the skin ), and then allow the clay to dry. After the clay dried, the individual showered, and I tossed him a necklace with a few fresh cloves of garlic ( peeled ).

Having doned his garlic necklace, he never experienced discomfort again. I tried to get him to get rid of the garlic necklace ( of course, he always used more fresh garlic after a few days ) after a few months. However, he was terrified of a relapse, and did not want to be without it.

I saw this individual late last year; he was perfectly fine, yet still wearing the garlic necklace.

This was a very strange situation ( I still shake my head in amazement when considering the memory ), but I was pleased that years of suffering for this individual had been ended -- and permanently.

My experience with bentonite, montmorillonite and french illite clays is extensive, especially considering skin conditions. The only condition I have not seen a positive response to is conditions caused by substances such as Agent Orange, although long term topical treatment with clays made with fine quality colloidal waters may even impact these so-called "jungle rot" conditions.

I was reading about Dr. Hildegarde Staninger as a pioneer in therapies for Morgellons. Funny thing is that we spoke together along with Mark Sircus and another toxicologist in last Friday's radio show Gulf Coast Blue Plague. We were voicing our concern regarding the toxicity of MMS:

http://www.blogtalkradio.com/livinglightnetwork/2011/06/24/gulf-of-mexico-blue-plague-update

I was reading that Dr. Staninger does not recommend zappers or MMS (toxic stuff!) because it drives the plastics (fibers) deeper into the body which do need to come out, otherwise the network internally stays there, that is why the use of FAR Infrared technology is used to detox the plastics--also the partial bugs are detoxed as well. Here is more info about it:

Scientist, Dr Staninger, Unlocks the Mystery of Morgellons Disease

http://www.nutritionalbodydetox.com/scientist-dr-staninger-unlocks-the-mystery-of-morgellons-disease/

Mesa, AZ (PRWEB) March 30, 2010

Dr Hildegarde Staninger Ph.D., RIET-1, a Doctor of Integrative Medicine and an Industrial Toxicologist, has dedicated a quarter of a century to discovering the source and nature of hazardous materials within our environment. In 2006 she began the detailed analysis of a specimen collected from a patient diagnosed with Morgellons.

After 3 months research, her evidence confirmed the specimen consisted of high-density polyethylene fibers that would not burn at 1,700 degrees F. These advanced nano materials are one billionth of the size of normal foreign invaders so they cannot be detected or removed by normal bio-transformation in the body.

Four years of research; analyzing fibers, specimens, and treating her patients, has led to the development of the Staninger Detox Protocol. Today 156 of her patients with Advanced Nano Materials Syndrome (Morgellons) have experienced a full recovery.

At the heart of her proprietary protocol is Far Infrared Radiant Heat Therapy. Well before her studies of Morgellons began, Dr. Staninger had already determined the therapeutic benefits of using far infrared as a means for stimulating cellular release of toxins and rejuvenation. Since discovering Far Infrared Therapy she has analyzed 72 different manufacturer’s products. The comparative testing was done under contract with the University of Central Florida, Orlando, FL CREOL Lab under the direction of professor, Dr. Alforns Schulte.

“MPS Global Inc is the only Far Infrared manufacturer I endorse” says Dr. Staninger. “They are Raman certified and recognized by I.E.I.A. (International Environmental Intelligence Agency). MPS proprietary technology facilitates the creation of K-bonds with the application of its Far Infrared Radiant Heat Technology. It is the K-bond that produces the correct harmonic frequency allowing the cells to create a quickening known as a ‘cosmic cellular burst’ which gives the cell life energy. This is the same frequency of the Universal Ohm which is the base line of creation. Using Far infrared activates our ability to remember our perfect-ness.”

One group of health enthusiasts, inspired by their own full recovery through the Staninger Detox Protocol, recognized a need to publish Dr. Staninger’s work in layman terms for the thousands of Morgellons sufferers desperately seeking answers. This vision has come to fruition through the launch of Dr. Staninger’s new online outpatient center at Healing Grapevine. A team of health professionals are now working directly with Dr. Staninger to create “Recover Now”, a simplified version of her 100% non toxic, GMO-free and Nano-free detox and regeneration program.

This path to recovery begins with a simple but extremely powerful 10 day Introductory Detox Kit.

A study done on 20 subjects using this kit revealed:

All individuals experienced 100% reduction in advanced nano materials.
All individuals experienced the release of childhood toxins from 20-30 years ago.
All individuals experienced the release of toxins from their systemic organs.

“My Detox Protocol is so effective at removing toxic chemicals, nano materials, and accelerating cell regeneration that I believe this protocol is not only the answer to Morgellons but is also the healing foundation that can empower our bodies to recover from any health condition.” Dr. Hildegarde Staninger is truly a pioneer for the entire medical community. Her mission has always been and will continue to be the science research necessary to keep us safe as we navigate and move forward into the world of Bio-Nanotechnology and beyond.

I don't know what her detox kit is exactly about, but I know she endorses micronized Zeolite.

I don't know what her detox kit is exactly about, but I know she endorses micronized Zeolite.

I had a look. The kits are rather expensive so that's a red flag to me.

Here's where the kits come from: _http://www.espbotanicals.com/

Here's their patent _http://www.espbotanicals.com/U.S.Patent_No._7060306/7060306.pdf that basically tells you that all you are getting is a combination of pretty basic and well-known natural oils, butters, essences, etc. along with claims about it soothing psoriasis.

Here: _http://www.staningerreport.com/aboutus.html is a "bio" of Dr. Staninger that actually sounds a bit like Vincent Bridge's old bio... written in that style, is what I mean. I've never heard of the organizations she is hooked up with. Maybe we should check out each claim and see where it leads?

I also checked out the "only FIR sauna" she recommends... geeze, that's pricey. Like thousands of dollars. _http://www.mpsglobal.us/capsule.htm

I dunno, I just smell something here.

Can some of ya'll do some digging on this?

ADDED: I keep adding stuff as I find it.

Here she recommends a colon cleanse: _http://www.healinggrapevine.com/recover-now/detox-protocols.html and when you go to the colon cleanse page, (_http://www.healinggrapevine.com/recover-now/detox-protocols/why-a-colon-cleanse.html ) you find you have to buy this expensive ANU stuff which is basically mineral water as far as I can see. But the BIG red flag is this:

Now, when it comes to targeting the colon or large intestines a month or so down the road, our team recommends the "Blessed Herbs" colon cleanse program. It comes as a kit with a booklet of very good diet guidelines, as well safe, non-toxic and effective ingredients in their product.

This is a very effective product to stimulate the shedding of the dark, gelatinous lining that has accumulated inside the colon and intestines is essential for healing both from Morgellons and all disease issues we face in the 21st century. {...}

The overall benefits from doing regular colon cleanses include a marked increase in vitality, healthier hair and nails, and a general increase in complexion and elasticity of the skin.

As we all know very well, fiber is NOT what cleans your colon and can, in fact, kill some people as it almost did Atriedes.

Geezus... she's cleaning out your wallet coming and going and all a person needs to do is get on a good paleo diet with minimal support supplementation, eliminate most carbs - including all those fiberous veggies, use a FAR IR blanket that can be gotten much cheaper than her 6K sauna dome!

Yeah, it does sound like she focuses a lot on her products and detox kits.

Anyone has heard of her or her products before?

Can we corroborate if she really healed Morgellon's disease?

Is her CV reliable?

In the radio show I noticed that she talked in a very technical way for the most part. She knew her stuff, but I had the impression that her explanation on MMS2 (hypochlorous acid) was off for the reasons explained here: http://www.health-matrix.net/2010/08/10/mms-miracle-mineral-solution-or-trojan-horse-your-body-and-dna-decide/
