Thanks for the file Neema, I made an
AE edit (clip files not ncluded) as a suggestion to your last render, Output
Here
just to get a feel for the clip-time, flow and what is missing. It's not meant to be for the looks but rather rhythm and to see how it could fit with the provided audio though I tweaked some camera angles slightly, what ya think?. The clips from 7th second to 12th is where the lizzie eyes (+ posibble extras) and more impressive comet material could be placed. I think rather than exploding the globe an insinuation is enough. Also I think we could loose the numbers of the clock without loosing the point.
New Orleans I presume you uploaded the file to Pob's FTP, would you mind uploading to ge.tt or similar untill I figure out my FTP problem.

Yeah, I need to learn that FTP also wouldn't that require that we also have each other's software apps to split the render loads?
Well, we all just have to work in the same 3D package. I vote for Autodesk products.
But will Maya, Soft and Max render each others projects, is there a common render thingie now?
Feedback on fbx format (my first time with that): Materials had to be re applied, no biggie. Animation of globe produced keys frame by frame rather than algorhitmic which I'm guessing it was in original state. Just letting you know how things translate.
To add: the look I was toying with in above clip and didn't carry through with was an idea to take The site graphics feel to the environment. Although I like the transperant news-esque look you (Neema) have given it, I think we could work on making the look more vibrant/ graphic?/ homogenous, either modern news style or site graphic loyal or something else. For example the old 'Pathé news real look' with what looks like it's done in real world models with overlayed dusty reel scratches, the one with the antenna on top of the globe, don't know if you know the what I'm talking about, haven't found a ref pic yet but just throwing it out there.
Oh and I could do the lizzie eyes, if no one else is burning for it.
