parallel said:Hi Neema, What I had in mind never really formed into something but loose imagery taken from Pob's suggestions aswell as looking at their site graphics. I am trying to play with some blocks in 3d app. but haven't found anyhting satisfying solutions for wave/pulse graphics, besides the graphic and the feel of the website has changed. Nice job New Orleans, if we go with this version we could use that top banner style for elements such as world maps and backgrounds?.
ok a sketch mostly formed on suggested video.
Intro
1 s / 30 f closeup of clock arm/ radar dialing the globe revealing a different texture underneath
1 s / 30 f closeup of clock arm/ radar dialing the globe revealing a different texture underneath
2 s / 60 f fullview of globe and it's clockarms/dial reach 12 (bells?)
2 s / 60 f globe pulses. camera does a slight orbit
4 s / 120 f(or more) of pullback where we see comets pulling in
Outro, What do we want to be the mood here? a hopeful theme or more doom or something else. A simple suggestion:
10 s / 300 f of banner graphic animated - double silhout cycling and background jiving ?
5 s / 150 f closing text and the 'get involved' graphic, perhaps animated with arms shooting up.
Edit: pictures for clarity (they are rehosted so they don't point anywhere but my image account in a net search)

Hey guys. Been having some major software crashes. Lost the video work several times so I had to redo the scene a couple times from scratch. even the save files (in cinema 4D) corrupted.
But that's all part of the process i guess. Either way I managed to do a animatic of the simple version of the intro. You can get the clip here. For the outro, I made a 3D get involved arm rig.
The arms are fully functional, and can be animated to do different gestures and poses. If there is interest in this, I was thinking parallel, I would give you the arm rig setup and you could play around with it and come up with some interesting motions for the outro.
Also the background world text and colors are customizable.
parallel said:Neema is it realistic that you have 40 hours of graphic time before the 13th, seeing that you would be responsible for the most part, rendering, aninmation. The trouble with materials and perhaps partly compositing is that we are cross platform and hard to know how stuff will look in the others engine.
Ran across this bunch of nice and simple retro examples of intros : _http://www.visualcreatures.com/work/hbos-funny-or-die/ (press montage)
Well 40 Hours, as it stands in 12 days will be a challenge, but only for the more complicated one. (the puppet master). This new earth thing should be no problem if you guys like it.
Whatever we decide I'm up for both.
