My dog is doing very poorly

I am seeing a lot of "rest in peace" being expressed. I understand the sentiment. It is an accepted, normal and proper thing to say. But, that is an interesting statement if you stop and think about it. (Before i continue, I have experienced my dog of 14 years die in my arms as I sobbed and wept, so I am not some unfeeling type of person who does not understand) "May you rest in peace" - that is also said about people whose bodies die.

But what about 5D contemplation? What about reincarnating? Maybe that dog is ready to become a human? To start the long road through 3rd density experience? Wouldn't that be great? A true validation of your relationship with that dog? But wait:

That is not exactly resting in peace.

In fact, wouldn't the 'rest in peace' be a kind of unconscious wish for entropic stasis? A nostalgic, sentimental projection of our own desire for peace; release from a stressful existence; pathos?

But like the old saying goes:

There is no rest for the wicked and the pure of heart don't need any.

And dogs are generally always so ready and willing to go, rested or not.

When we weep for the dead do we really weep for them or are we really weeping for ourselves?

How about this: May the consciousness that was in your dog continue on and grow into a human soul.

Thank you for the pics of Safi. She was, indeed, beautiful in more than body. You can see it in her face. So sorry for you that she is now gone, but I think that you did the most anyone could have done and Safi passed knowing how much you loved and cared about her. to you and your sons for your loss.

Your observations are valid enough but totally inappropriate in the context/situation. "Rest in Peace" is more likely to refer to a rest after a struggle during a life. It's duration isn't suggested or delimited.

Very sorry for your loss Mariama , I remember seeing Safi for the first time and noticing right away what an absolutely sweet, adorable and amazing dog she was.

Lots of hugs for all of ya  :hug2:

My sincere condolences Mariama, losing a beloved pet is very sad, but when their time comes you know they want to go, as much as we love them and they love us unconditionally, it is very difficult.

I hope you find much comfort in your memories of your beautiful Safi. :hug2: :hug2:

My condolences Mariama. It is always a sad moment when you have to let go a furry family member. For me it seems your Safi went in peace and enjoyed the life in your family. Thank you for sharing the pictures and Safis last days. :hug2:

Mariama,

My heart is with you. I had a similar experience recently.
Remember that Safi Loves you and knows that you love her.

:hug2:
