Caught the show, and had wondered if you were going to bring up What Makes Normal People Do Monstrous Things, and you indeed did.

With Hare's statistics, will have to ponder it a bit more, however his work here seems to well dovetail with Lobaczewski. And on that note, boy, if you could ever get Hare on for an interview, that would be fascinating.

By the way, that was a nice follow up article on substack.

As for the South American focus, was reminded of John Pilger's interview with this guy (might fit in well with the pathological crimes and the hand picked and trained units):

We were fortunate enough to have another very interesting guest on the show (who actually spoke with us several years ago for the Truth Perspective podcasts); Gordon Hahn. And the subject - Russian political and military security as seen through a historical lense. He really knows his stuff too.

This goes back to the beginning of last month, with the overall thought that Gordon's talk was excellent. He obviously has great depth of history and of current affairs in the region. One thing he said, though, which I can't yet follow through with his thoughts on, surrounded the Russian move to take over Crimea. His thoughts in the interview were that the Russians might have had other option then to just go in and secure it. I get that, there are always options, but was there really another option give the conditions and the stakes?

Having looked at the beginnings of what had happened over the years after the 2014 coup (and the history of Crimea), there was indeed an explicit move against Crimea by the uki-thug forces, and by their actions they meant reckless killing business to be done to the Crimean people. This is aside from the fact that Crimea had a permanent Russian naval contingent as had historically been agreed upon. In this, it might appear that had the Russians not done what they did to move and secure Crimea, a blood bath would have resulted. If that is so, there does not seem to have been many options as the die was cast.

That was the only real comment on Gordon's talk that gave me some pause, however he did not really expand upon what other options could have played out either.

We've come at the subject of left wing Totalitarianism from a number of different angles before, but never quite from this one (or this fully) - and its certainly eye-opening to be sure.

MindMatters: Is Critical Race Theory Race Marxism?​

Today on MindMatters we delve into the first chapters of James Lindsay's new book Race Marxism: The Truth about Critical Race Theory and Praxis. Contrary to what you hear on the news or Twitter, CRT is not simply a legal theory taught in law school. It is a full-blown activist movement. Even some who consider themselves proponents might be shocked to learn what its central tenets are, as described in the movements foundational academic texts. Lindsay puts it all together for us in one comprehensive volume.

Whoa, great CRT comments you all made for this influential societal subject. The idea of plug and play make sense (drop an idea into a Marxist-wise template and let the program run), including how Freud entered into the picture.

In more recent times had had the horror of sitting through forced at work CRT sessions, more or less an HR CRT indoctrination session for corporate conformity - not unlike like environmental greenwashing, it was social whitewashing as part of their obtaining their seal of approval sticker while unifying employees (and shutting down any unconforming speech). Was shocked at the number of participants zeal for the ideas, that a day before they did not appear to have, and also realized that they had no clue what they were talking about, and yet parrot away they did. In retrospect too - tested a little, was what seemed built in and calculated was if approaching any colleague on the post indoctrination subject, there was pins and needles - do so at your own risk. It is freighting really, and it seemed a very fast process.

That was also an interesting personal/family look you offered on post war Germany, Mr. Koch. Thank you.

After the show concluded (and look forward to the discussion continuing), was thinking that with so much excellent past material to work with, a best of MindMatters book would be cool - no pressure , not sure what it could look like, just saying.

Just caught up with this one, I loved it. Super interesting and you covered something I've been thinking about for ages and never found a good answer on.

How does a negatively charged particle "know" it should move towards a positive charge? How does it even know which direction it should move? OK you can say there's an electromagnetic field, but the particle still has to recognise that field, read the direction etc. And what stops it from "deciding" to fly in the other direction just by chance?

We had a great time talking to 'John Carter' for the most recent show - not only because this guest is so well informed on so much, but because we seemed to be on a very similar wavelength concerning the topics discussed and many of the perspectives we have come to ourselves. Enjoy!

Culture wars, political convulsions, social upheavals - you name it. If you're like us, we're always on the lookout for new voices giving their take on these strange times and just what the heck it is we're watching unfold in the West. There are a good many bloggers, pundits and observers out there, but...there can be only one. Enter John Carter (nom de plume), who writes "Postcards From Barsoom." A veteran of the academic world and all its woke garbage, John found himself transported to the fantastical realm called Substack, where he became a warrior battling various mythological beasts, alien armies and malevolent foes, armed solely with his mighty keyboard and nimble mind.

In just a short time, John has shown himself to be a voice worth listening to. And speak with aplomb he does. His writings are insightful, challenging, creative, and playfully hilarious. And in our conversation today, nothing is off the table: science, psychology, spirituality, philosophy, politics, sci-fi - whatever ideas have the explanatory power to help describe and understand the world we're facing. At a time when we're being barraged by the weapons of 'cognitive conquest' nothing is more important than communicating the ideas that could provide a good sword and shield, and a means with which to face the future.

The author of the following article takes Ireland as an example to discuss how the global agenda's playing out for the last few years for the demise of Europe - mainly immigration. Europe's Death Rattle: Open Borders and Shut Mouths -- Sott.net

• Ireland though the victim of imperialism considered as "white" because that how american's looked that way. He is not talking about the skin color but the the aggressor/victim narration. What he mean to say is Ireland though white in skin as much victim of imperialism like any other colored or black nation. It is this guilt of past White imperialism is used to push through reckless immigration of outsiders - Mainly from Africa He also mentions few people migrating to the Kashmir. Authorities are not allowing journalists to interview the immigrants. the excuse is Ukraine ( Russians) and Africans ( Poor victim of white imperialism)
• The Birth rates of Irish is so low (1.1), before the end of the century, Irish becomes minority. The current stats of Irish birth rate of 1.7 is inflated number by adding high birth rates of immigrants.
• All this push for massive importation of migrants is coming from Brussels ( Probably from Washington) with the stick of "racist" if one doesn't buy the narration.
• One level of agenda is to use the cheap labor of the skilled work force in the immigrants.
• It's a loss for both sending nation ( as it loses skilled force) and receiving nation (as it's population is replaced).

It's aim is to corrupt the mind with all sorts of emotional hooks based on half-baked facts to follow the orders (what ever they may be). More transient and confusing, more better for their aim.

There was much to think about our here; self-organizing; the man behind the curtain; PP and Desmet's take. Had also thought on Le Bon's 'Crowd,' although it is weaved in there.

It's complicated, not so simple with so many influences and possibilities - seemingly with outright chance at any juncture. However, Desmet via the Sierpinski triangle concludes there is also order. In the case of the Sierpinski triangle (fractal) the article stated:

Totalitarianism is like the final fractal:

"Nobody needs to know or have ever even seen this pattern. It is enough that all people independently follow the same simple rules as they place their points" (PT, p. 122).

This made me think of the Ars Magna Sciendi - Kircher, although the context is different, arrangements happen in groups that can connect with each other - with order emerging along connectivity. At any juncture point, if a ponerogenic association is created, it seems to tie through all (influence), although it can remain separate point of initiation.

Whatever the case, the article cited above certainly provided a different way of looking at things, so appreciated Harrison's work on it.
