Somewhere in time I had noticed that I had a 10 cycle going on. Every (5) that is to say 1965,1975, etc. my life took a great change. I was reminded of it during a session with Patrick and Heather, where Heather said “there’s a pattern here of 6 y/o 16, 26", but we never got very far into that, and I didn’t return for anymore sessions with Pat and Heather. I’m confident that there is “something” to both Numerology and Astrology but haven’t pursued those much as they are kinda “airy” or too subjective. Now I’m finishing 2015 and the change hasn’t happened yet ?

Here’s my question: Has anyone found numerology and astrology to be significantly helpful to the work ? And if so, how would one approach it e.g. is there a trusted website that can do these types of forecasts?

Hi Adobe. I am currently fleshing out some ideas regarding astrology in the work in a practical sense. Theoretically, what I am thinking makes a lot of sense, but I want to verify it before making a post on the subject. That being said, my opinion on various websites doing forecasts isn't very high...I think it would be better to look into the topic on ones own. It is a very nice little booklet written by Dane Rudhyar getting into the philosophy of the symbolism used in astrology. Hope this helps.

Thanks also obyvatel, after reading through the tread, I think I'll stick with the Iodine thread and Dabrowski's book for now....working the two together its starting to feel like alchemy.
 
Adobe, now I find your post about a ten year cycle extremely interesting because I have noticed the same exact thing in my own life. In 1994 I lost a fiance very unexpectedly in a commercial diving accident. Then, ten years later I lost my only child, a son. Then, ten years after that, in 2013/2014 I had a major, unexpected awakening which blew my whole life apart in every sense of the word and my mother died that year. Coincidence? I think not!

I believe we do have patterns in our lives. Very, very interesting.

Wow your ten year events are dramatic, I hope you’re ok, Iv read this here on Christmas morning and it kind of sets me back, I don’t know what words to use, so I’ll just say again, I hope you’re ok.

With the ten year cycles I guess it’s good enough that we notice (observe) them and be as prepared as possible for the events. Every 10 years may not be set in stone, so probably my cycle will still show up, god know there is enough “changes” to be coming our way, as to rearrange my life :)

Adobe, I'm fine. Thank you for your kind compassion. I believe God only gives us what we can stand and apparently he thought I could withstand a lot, but what I do is remember those who have withstood much, much more than me. The world is full of people, both currently and in "history" who have had things a lot tougher. I see now how all these things prepared me for now. Acceptance is a big part of it and trying to understand what I was supposed to learn. Once you realize the impermanence of life as we know it, it is much, much easier. Plus, I am older: 54. You don't say how old you are but I think age has a lot to do with what lessons we learn; unless we are child prodigies in the universal sense. Putting things in perspective by reading about some of those tougher lives really makes you feel like a wimp if you don't figure out how to move gracefully through the world.
