My understanding is that the view-counter on Youtube is not real time and may be glitchy. A lot of what you're seeing may be interference from their spam filter, which seems to have unintentional consequences for many users (see discussion thread here _http://www.google.com/support/forum/p/youtube/thread?tid=174b1eaf86454a61&hl=en). I think I remember this being discussed at some point here on the forum, but a quick search isn't turning anything up.

I'm not saying the count isn't being tampered with, but it might just be glitchy, or something is setting off the "artificial viewer" reader. Sitting there and viewing the vid multiple times may temporarily inflate the numbers, but I believe they will remove those from the count eventually (which may be why the number dropped from 1900, or that may be just a plausible excuse).
 
You did a great job on these videos, Fifth Way! I've already "liked" them on Youtube and shared them on Facebook. Keep up the great work! :thup:
 
I take back that the Occupy Pages I posted on scrubbed all those post, because I'm still getting my fair share of positive feedback today. It's possible I was mistaken.

I think I was also too paranoid about the view-counter thing, even though it did go down at the very beginning. Maybe screaming "Bloody Murder!" helped also to ease off on the manipulation. Couldn't hurt anyway.

Now the to vids have combined already over 5,000 views. :cool2: :cool2: :cool2:
 
Fifth Way, Puck and Truthseeker. Great jobs all of you. There were tears in my eyes as I watched you Puck. Found your words very healing, loving and insightful. I've seen it three times and each time something new seems to make more of an impact with me. Fifth Way, thanks for the hard work in getting a project like this off the drawing board and out into the world where it can at least begin to reframe the discussion about why this reality is the way it is. Keep flapping those butterfly wings and I look forward to your next endeavor.

It's good to hear that the manipulations on the view counter on YouTube and the scrubbing of FB posts has stopped. And once again, great job everyone!
 
Thanks for spreading the awareness Puck & Fifth Way. Both were very well presented and fluid; really good! As was mentioned, had to find the equalizer and nearly turn off the accompanying composition, even with external speakers on or off. Enjoyed the composition mix, too, but for me the words said it all though anyway. :thup: :v:
 
I fixed the sound on both clips (it had voice on one channel and music on the other - now both is on both).

But I didn't want to re-upload them on YouTube as I am pretty happy with the amount of views.
So I uploaded them on vimeo instead. I think it is also a good idea to have the videos in more than place.

They are also in higher resolution (HD -but load longer).

I googled the word combination "occupy psychopath" and found that a number of pages and blogs picked up on the videos and proliferated them further. :cool:

Anyway in this case: Any PR is good PR. Even if it has a bad headline, as even more people will look at it and see it for what it is. :cool:
