Some ant species have extensible transparent or semi-transparent abdomens.
This allows them to store liquids such as water and nectar, which are visible through their abdomen.
This is often the case with worker ants, which may have this feature to facilitate the transport of liquids back to the colony.
Quite impressive to observe!

They are completely harmless to humans, but the sheer size of them and the fact of being in the middle of the deep with such a living mass can be quite disturbing.

The Manul (Otocolobus manul), or Pallas cat, is a wild cat that lives in the steppes and mountains of Central Asia.
Its natural habitats include regions such as Mongolia, China, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Russia.
They are often found in rocky, semi-desert areas, where they hunt prey such as rodents and birds.
Their appearance is rather peculiar and atypical, with a slightly grumpy air.

Oh he is so magnificent. That slow aloof walk and dignified look states he's (or she) knows a thing or two and wont take no for an answer. A truly beautiful creature.That's not a grumpy air but one of superiority,.
