Similar to what the far left publication Salon tried to do several years back (along with The New York Times), the BBC seems to agree with this author that pedophilia isn’t necessarily a disorder to be treated with disdain, but rather a sexual orientation like homosexuality that simply requires “help.”

It wouldn’t be the first time that the BBC has entered the ring on the wrong side of the issue, having once employed a popular television personality by the name of Jimmy Savile who was reported to have sexually abused at least 500 young boys and girls, as well as engaged in necrophilia, or sex with dead bodies.

The long-haired, odd looking goofball of a man always seemed off to many who knew him, and yet the BBC apparently kept him on its payroll until his death in 2011. Others in the media, including a radio presenter from The Guardian, offered nothing but laud and praise for Savile and his “tireless” philanthropy. But many a discerning individual perceived the ruse as being a cover for Savile’s dark and dirty secret, which the BBC never spoke about or in any way condemned.

Despite his passing, Savile’s legacy apparently still lives on at the BBC, which is once again giving a platform to the sexually depraved to minimize the evil of illicit adult-child relations. Though the anonymous individual acknowledges pedophilia as wrong, the tone of his (or perhaps her) article actually paints child predators as victims rather than predators. The current societal view of pedophiles, the article maintains, is that those who are “outed” will potentially face “violence” and “physical attacks” – and that this needs to change.

If pedophilia wasn’t condemned like it is, there would be no need to seek help

It’s important to note that the unnamed author of this article does admit that he was once a pedophile, and that by seeking help he was able to overcome it. But in condemning the general social response to pedophilia, this author actually contradicts the driving factor behind what drove him to seek help in the first place – the fact that society views pedophilia as being so aberrant to what’s normal and decent that those who practice it require removal from society.

“It should be noted that the author never hints that acting on the impulse to sexually abuse children is acceptable, and acknowledges that his ‘former orientation’ later led him to seek help, discovering that it is entirely curable,” writes Will Ricciardella for The Daily Caller. “He does not, it appears, understand his own tacit admission: that the condemnation of nefarious and evil sex acts perpetrated on children, rather than social acceptance or acknowledgement of it as a sexual orientation, was the impetus for him to seek help.”

So what the reader of this BBC article is aimed to be left with is a not-so-subtle sense of guilt over judging pedophiles too harshly when they’re really just victims of a sexual identity crisis that society doesn’t fully understand. And if only more people could see pedophilia as being just another type of gender, perhaps, then maybe it wouldn’t have the horrible stigma it currently does.

“The author’s theme that pedophilia should not be demonized in order to encourage pedophiles to seek help, precludes the more sensible and rational response that neither are mutually exclusive, and encouraging pedophiles to seek help is the corollary of its condemnation and degree of its perceived moral repugnancy,” Ricciardella adds.

There have been a few national state committees tasked with investigating the matter over the decades, but they were previously accused of ignoring real evidence and helping government efforts to cover up the affair. Last year Benjamin Netanyahu had more than 3,500 government files on the investigation into the disappearance of the children published online. A Knesset committee followed up by confirming earlier this month that Yemenite babies died during the 1950s after state medical institutions conducted experiments on them. Despite the disclosures, the families are still in the dark regarding their relatives, and the matter is still an open wound in the Israeli society.

Seeking more answers, the Israeli nonprofit Amram organized the protest in Jerusalem last week under the title “Recognition, Justice, Healing,” calling on the government to open all of the national archives, which could allow for family reunification. The demonstrators also want the affair recognized as a crime against humanity.

Considering the percentage of psychopaths in Israel it is good to know that at least 2000 gathered to protest the "disappearance of the children".

Cardinal George Pell, the highest-ranking Catholic official in Australia and the sitting prefect of the Secretariat of the economy for the Vatican (the Church's treasurer) has been charged with multiple sexual offenses by Australian authorities.

"Cardinal Pell is facing multiple charges and there are multiple complainants," said Shane Patton, the deputy commissioner of the Victoria Police Department, during a press conference.

"For clarity, I want to be perfectly clear, the process and procedures that are being followed in the charging of Cardinal Pell have been the same that have been applied in a whole range of historical sex offences whenever we investigate them," Patton added.

"Cardinal Pell, like any other defendant, has a right to due process and so therefore, it is important that the process is allowed to run its natural course."

Pell has consistently denied all charges. "I stand by everything I've said at the royal commission [on child sexual abuse] and in other places. We have to respect due process, wait until it's concluded and obviously I'll continue to cooperate fully," he told reporters. Pell is to appear at court on July 18.

Pell has been a cardinal since 2003 and was the archbishop of Sydney and Melbourne from 2001 until 2014. In 2014, he was made the Vatican's treasurer and has thus been living in Rome. Australian authorities have commanded the 76-year-old official to return to stand trial, and Pell said that he was willing to make the journey. Previously in 2014, he declined to return to Australia to testify at a royal commission on child sexual abuse in the church. Pell, citing ill health, instead testified over videolink.

During his testimony, Pell told prosecutors that he didn't believe it fair to blame the Catholic Church for the actions of its officials. In a comment that drew much controversy, he likened the Holy See to a trucking company: "If the truck driver picks up some lady and then molests her, I don't think it's appropriate, because it is contrary to the policy, for the ownership, the leadership of that company to be held responsible."

ANOKA, Minn.—A human trafficking sting led by the Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension this week netted 19 arrests, officials say.

The two-day operation used undercover agents to lure suspects who believed they were going to meet with a 13- to 15-year-old child for sex, and targeted online solicitation through social media, according to a news release issued by the BCA.

In addition to the arrests, law enforcement officials rescued 10 female human trafficking victims during the operation, including one juvenile, the news release said.

Fifteen men were arrested on suspicion of solicitation of a child, and two men and two women were arrested on suspicion of felony human trafficking. Charges are expected in the next few days, according to the news release.

All of the suspects are from the Twin Cities area and were booked into the Anoka County Jail.

The nine adult human trafficking victims were interviewed and released, while the juvenile victim was placed in protective custody in Anoka County, the news release said.

The Fridley Police Department, the Anoka County sheriff's office, the Plymouth Police Department and the Dakota County sheriff's office all assisted in the operation.

Professor Selçuk Şirin's new book, 'Muslim American Youth', focuses on the definition, problems and solutions of Muslim youth in the West. Why are young people in America, Europe, Turkey and many other countries of the world interested in violence and terrorist organizations? How is a pro-violent terrorist organization like ISID attracting thousands of young Syrians from all corners of the world? That is why there are no poverty, unemployment or family problems in any case. Professor Selçuk Şirin from the Department of Psychology of New York University, who conducted research on immigrants and minority groups, answered these questions.

According to Professor Shirin, it is necessary to make different definitions for young Muslims who grow up in America and Europe. It is not possible to collect these young people under a single identity:

"After September 11, there was a very interesting grouping in America. Before September 11, for example, there were Turkish student associations, Pakistan student associations, and Arab students' associations. After September 11, Muslim student associations began to exist. After September 11, the community gathered the Muslims under one roof in general and gave them a single label, saying that you are a Muslim. This is a definition of the identity of the community as a categorical visit revealed by individuals. Here the perception was made with the definition of religion. It is not just about religion, we are talking about a cultural and social identity. Europe already had a negative perception of Islamophobia against Muslims. It was much more limited in America. After September 11th, it increased a lot. According to a Gallup survey, there is more than 50 percent support for 'do you support discrimination against one'? This is an attitude that shows discrimination after 11 September. In my research I have done this discrimination, for example, 80-85 percent of young people said "I am discriminated against because I am a Muslim" after September 11th. This rate has changed a bit, of course. The cause of the change in the process after September 11 is the struggle of the Muslims in America, namely civic engagement. What did these young people do in America? 'We are citizens of this place because citizens, second generation, third generation. There are privileges that you give us to be an American. We will fight for it in every situation 'and they did it well. In America there has been a serious struggle against this Islamophobia, both culturally and as citizens. Therefore, the radicalization of Muslims in America was prevented. The radicalization of Muslim youth in America and their participation in the ISID is very limited. No radical groupings. "

Professor Selçuk Şirin notes that IŞİD is a very rich and modern organization. Professor Şirin emphasized that these young people are psychological problems, while socioeconomic conditions are important in the field of terrorism and that most of the young people participating in the ISID are uneducated and unemployed.

During the days when the United Nations passed, the young people warned us, "There is no return to the road to ISİD." How can young people be abandoned from this organization? How can this terror organization be eaten? According to Professor Selçuk Şirin of the New York University Department of Psychology, it is natural for the state to emerge from terrorist organizations in countries where there is no order. Professor Şirin, who said that the wrong politics in the Middle East are emerging today in Syria and Iraq, reminds us that the former example is Afghanistan. Professor Sirin emphasizes that IŞID should not be given too much credit for what it does, it must have a limit to the use of the video that it publishes, every time it explains what it does. Selçuk Şirin stating that he must be careful about the 'ethical threshold' is in the warning that if he did not pay attention to this, he would inadvertently advertise the organization.

Eric Holder, Obama's former Attorney General and a man who recently hinted at an interest in pursuing a 2020 bid for the White House, issued a rather ominous warning to the "career men & women" of the DOJ/FBI last night saying that their "actions and integrity will be unfairly questioned" before calling upon them to "be prepared, be strong."

"To the career men & women at DOJ/FBI: your actions and integrity will be unfairly questioned. Be prepared, be strong. Duty. Honor. Country."

Of course, with the many scandals that plagued Obama's Justice Department, it's impossible to know exactly which one sparked Holder's warning.

Could it be the outrageous unmasking of Trump officials in the waning days of Obama's administration, an obvious attempt to exploit the collection of foreign intelligence and use it as a political weapon of mass destruction, and subsequent illegal leaking of that information to the media? Certainly, this would seem to be a concern for Susan Rice who has been asked to testify before the House Intelligence Committee.

Or, is it a simple message directed at FBI Director McCabe who we recently pointed out is coming under increasing scrutiny for not recusing himself from the investigation of Michael Flynn, a man against whom he very clearly harbored a personal vendetta.

Or, perhaps its that whole James Comey revelation that Eric Holder's replacement, Loretta Lynch, colluded with the Hillary Clinton campaign and the FBI to quash the investigation of Hillary's email scandal.

Or, perhaps it's just a general warning after the FISA court recently revealed the the Obama administration conducted illegal queries targeting American citizens "with much greater frequency than had previously been disclosed to the Court"...an issue which it described as a "very serious Fourth Amendment issue."

"Since 2011, NSA's minimization procedures have prohibited use of U.S.-person identifiers to query the results of upstream Internet collection under Section 702. The October 26, 2016 Notice informed the Court that NSA analysts had been conducting such queries in violation of that prohibition, with much greater frequency than had previously been disclosed to the Court."

"At the October 26, 2016 hearing, the Court ascribed the government's failure to disclose those IG and OCO reviews at the October 4, 2016 hearing to an institutional 'lack of candor' on NSA's part and emphasized that 'this is a very serious Fourth Amendment issue.'"

Steele also seems to spend a lot of time defending Mossad, painting them as the good guys as opposed to the bad Israeli government (he claims that Dick Cheney is the key person behind the 9/11 attacks). Since by that point I felt it's pretty clear that Jordan Sather is either Cointelpro, or at the very least being used as part of a large scam with Corey Goode (see The Truth about Corey Goode), I thought Steele appearing in an interview with him was kind of odd. I now feel that it's quite likely Steele is Cointelpro himself -- the only question is whether the interview with Sather was just a fortuitous way for them to use each other, or whether they actually share the same handlers at some level. Apologies that this is only tangential to the main PizzaGate topic, but it seemed the best place to post it since this is the primary place where Jason Goodman is discussed.

Italian police raid a Vatican owned apartment, registered to the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith, who's main purpose is to investigate sexual abuse by priests where a priest who serves a cardinal resides, who is a personal adviser to Pope Francis. The police reportedly found "drugs and several men having sex when they entered the apartment."

Police have raided a cardinal's apartment near the Vatican amid reports of a drug-fueled gay orgy. The incident comes as the Roman Catholic Church appears racked by conflict and scandal four years into Pope Francis's reign.

Police entered an apartment where a priest lived. The priest reportedly serves as a secretary to Cardinal Francesco Coccopalmerio, the head of the Pontifical Council for Legislative texts.

Cardinal Coccopalmerio is a personal adviser to Pope Francis.

An Italian newspaper said police raided the apartment in June after complaints from neighbors who reported unusual behavior.

The police reportedly found drugs and several men having sex when they entered the apartment. The priest was reported on suspicion of drug offenses.

Sex between men in private is not a criminal offense in Italy or in the Vatican City, which is a nominally independent state within the city of Rome.

The apartment reportedly belonged to the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith, which investigates sexual abuse by priests.

Cardinal Coccopalmerio had reportedly recommended the priest for promotion to bishop but that has now been put on hold.

The incident is symptomatic of a difficult period for the Pope.

He remains under huge pressure as a result of sex abuse involving the Roman Catholic Church.

The Pope's critics have reportedly blamed him for picking the wrong people for key positions.

In June, Cardinal George Pell, the highest-ranking Catholic official in Australia, agreed to step down from his job as the Vatican's treasurer to return to Australia after being charged with multiple sexual offenses by Australian authorities.

Cardinal Pell, 76, has consistently denied all charges.

"I stand by everything I've said at the royal commission [on child sexual abuse] and in other places. We have to respect due process, wait until it's concluded and obviously I'll continue to cooperate fully," he told reporters. He is to appear in court on July 18.

For decades, the Catholic Church has been subject to accusations from numerous activists, organizations and victims for not doing enough to fight pedophilia within its ranks.

In July 2014, Pope Francis referred to child sexual abuse as a "leprosy" that infects the Catholic Church, stating that one in every 50 Catholic priests is a pedophile.

In 2015, Pope Francis approved the creation of a tribunal to hear cases in which bishops have been accused of failing to prevent the sexual abuse of children and "vulnerable adults" by priests.

The Holy Father is “enraged,” since the home, inhabited by Cardinal Francesco Coccopalmerio’s secretary, belongs to the Vatican’s Congregation for the Doctrine of Faith — the arm charged with tackling clerical sex abuse, Italian paper Il Fatto Quotidiano reports.

Cops raided the apartment in late June after neighbors complained about multiple people visiting the apartment and acting strangely.

Inside, police said they found men getting high and getting it on, the paper reports.

They arrested the priest after taking him to a clinic to detox from the drugs he’d ingested — presumably on drugs charges, as gay sex isn’t illegal in Vatican City. He is now on a spiritual retreat in a convent in Italy, the paper reports.

Coccopalmerio had recommended his secretary for a promotion to bishop, but the prospects aren’t looking good following this incident and two previous alleged drug overdoses, according to an International Business Times report.

Pope Francis may force the cardinal into retirement, the Italian paper reports.

The scandal comes just a week after the Vatican was rocked by sex abuse allegations against high-ranking Cardinal George Pell.

Cardinal George Pell, Pope Francis’ chief financial adviser and Australia’s most senior Catholic, is the highest-ranking Vatican official to ever be charged in the church’s long-running sexual abuse scandal.

Victoria state Police Deputy Commissioner Shane Patton said police have summonsed Pell to appear in an Australian court to face multiple charges of “historic sexual offenses,” meaning offenses that generally occurred some time ago. Patton said there are multiple complainants against Pell, but gave no other details on the allegations against the cardinal. Pell was ordered to appear in Melbourne Magistrates Court on July 18.

On Sunday, July 2, 2017, NBC Nightly News aired the first part of an investigative report into the issue of sexual assaults on cruise ships.

Over the course of three months, NBC News spoke with 10 victims of sexual assaults, or members of their families, and found that cruise ships pose hidden dangers.

"Of the 92 alleged on-board crimes reported by cruise lines in 2016, 62 were sexual assaults. When sexual assaults occur at sea, it may be hard for victims to get justice on land. Some assaults were barely investigated, according to the victims and families who spoke to NBC. Most were never NBC News Cruise Ship Sexual Assaultprosecuted.

And perhaps most troubling, many of the sexual assaults on-board cruise ships involved minors. A congressional report in 2013 found that minors were victims in a third of the assaults."

NBC interviewed me, as well as another maritime lawyer in Miami Michael Winkleman, during their investigation. You can see a portion of the interview in the video below.

The program highlights the fact that the FBI usually does not conduct a full investigation when women and children are victimized on foreign flagged cruise shhips. Prosecutions by the Department of Justice are even rarer. As a result, the cycle of sexual violence remains a problem on cruises.

The second part of the investigation airs this evening on NBC News.

German investigators have seized a server used to host a child porn platform for almost 90,000 users on the dark web.

German police have shut down a child porn platform operating on the "dark web" that had more than 87,000 members.

The platform was called "Elysium" and enabled users to arrange and exchange videos and photographs of child sexual abuse.

The administrator of Elysium, a 39-year-old man from the Limburg-Weilburg district of Hesse in Western Germany, was arrested on June 12 and charged with the distribution of child pornography and the serious sexual abuse of children. Police searched his apartment and confiscated the server used to host the platform, state prosecutors in Frankfurt-am-Main said.

The platform had been operating on the dark web since the end of 2016, and enabled the exchange of child pornography from around the world, including images of very serious sexual abuse and violence against children.

The investigation into Elysium is being conducted by the Central Agency for Fighting Internet Crime (ZIT), which was set up in 2010 to fight internet crime nationwide. Investigators have already identified several more suspects, who are believed to have used or helped administer the platform.

The dark web is an anonymous part of the internet which can't be accessed using a typical search engine. A special web browser such as Tor disguises the identity of web users by routing traffic through a complex network of servers.

A recent project to map the dark web found 7,178 sites there, most of which (87 percent) don't link to any other sites. The authors of the study, published on Arxiv.org, say that the term "dark web" is a misnomer, and it is "more accurate to view the darkweb as a set of largely isolated dark silos."

Law enforcement has discovered several child pornography rings operating on the dark web in recent years. In 2015, the most notorious child pornography site operating there, Playpen, was shut down by the FBI. Before the site was taken down, it hosted 215,000 user accounts and distributed 50,000 images and videos of child pornography. After a two-year investigation, 900 members of the ring in Europe and the Americas were arrested.

Last year, Norway launched a crackdown against child pornography online, dubbed Operation Dark Room. In May, it was reported that the police have discovered at least 300 cases of child sexual abuse, including several cases in which Norwegians paid between $20 and $50 to watch the abuse of children in the Philippines.

Brock Pierce is a controversial figure who has received surprisingly little attention despite connections to the Clinton Foundation, digital currency Bitcoin and involvement in a notorious scandal involving a child abuse ring.

Brock was a member of the Clinton Global Initiative, former child actor who appeared in films such as the 1992 classic Mighty Ducks and Disney’s “First Kid,” and Chairman of the Board at the Bitcoin Foundation. Pierce also co-founded the Digital Entertainment Network (DEN), a forerunner of video sharing site Youtube. In 2010, Pierce also was also a participant at the Mindshift Conference, which was hosted now disgraced billionaire pedophile and child sex trafficker Jeffrey Epstein.

DEN was founded in 1996 amid the rapid growth of the dot-com bubble. It raised $72 million in investment before even opening in 1999, a massive amount of capital considering that, at least on the surface, DEN was not yet providing investors with anything in return. At the time news sources scoffed at the massive salaries top executives were paid when the company was not even creating revenue. An SEC filing obtained by Hollywood periodical Radar Online reveals that DEN’s investors included a shocking number of big name personalities such as media executives Garth Ancier and David Geffen, former Yahoo CEO Terry Semel, film producers Gary Goddard and Bryan Singer, Wall Street czar Mitchell Blutt, A&M Records head Gilbert Friesen (now deceased), former Disney executive David Neuman, manager and label executive Gary Gersh, investor Jeffrey Sachs, former Congressman Michael Huffington, actors Ben and Fred Savage, and tech companies such as Microsoft and Dell. The lack of apparent revenue raises questions about what investors in DEN were expecting in return.

In 2000, DEN suffered an absolute disaster amid claims by employees and several Hollywood child actors such as Michael Egan III that Pierce and his partners, Chad Shackley and Marc Collins-Rector ran a child abuse ring with a number of other Hollywood directors and A-list actors, many of whom were financially tied to DEN. Egan alleged that between the ages of 15 to 17, he would be given alcohol, cocaine and other drugs and was raped repeatedly along with other young boys who were present. The abuse allegedly occurred at the house shared by Collins-Rector, Shackley and Pierce as well as on trips to Hawaii. On at least one occasion, Collins-Rector threatened Egan with a gun to force him into compliance. Egan filed a civil suit after his reports to the LAPD and FBI fell on deaf ears. Individuals named in the suit included Pierce, Collins-Rector, Shackley, as well as Bryan Singer, Garth Ancier, Gary Goddard and David Neuman.

Mr. Egan’s allegations mirror other similar claims made by actors such as Corey Feldman and Elijah Wood that child sex abuse is rampant in Hollywood.

Pierce and his co-accused resigned from DEN and fled hurriedly to Spain to escape the FBI. Collins Rector was apparently primarily concerned that investor David Geffen wished to kill him over the scandal. Depositions taken from Pierce revealed that Geffen had purportedly been paying an employee to spy on DEN, and that he had been fed information and stolen faxes.

Ultimately, Collins-Rector was the only individual charged with sex offenses in relation to the scandal. Brock Pierce was never able fully escape negative public opinion over the role he played however. When he became the Chairman of the Board at the Bitcoin Foundation, at least 10 members resigned in protest. Several resignation letters explicitly listed Pierce’s association with pedophilia and child pornography as the reason for their departure.

Pierce is one of several public figures dogged by allegations of child sex abuse with financial or social ties to the Clinton Foundation.

Disobedient Media today releases 102 pages from the New York State Select Committee On Crime. The document describes an investigation into child pornography and human trafficking by two detectives from the Washington D.C. Metropolitan Police. The findings were presented to officials on July 26, 1982.

Detectives found that organized crime did play a role in the distribution of child pornography, but that the day-to-day activity in regards to child prostitution appeared to be run by a group of collectors who would, “trade material and trade male prostitutes back and forth.” The investigation revealed that young male and female minors were being transported between California and D.C. along a route known as the “California Connection.” The route was part of a circuit which encompassed Houston, Los Angeles, San Francisco, New Orleans, New York, D.C., and Florida. According to detectives, clients could call a phone number in Houston from Washington and have a young boy delivered directly to their location. These purchases were incredibly streamlined and could even be made with credit cards which were charged to front companies under various guises such as photography studios, book stores, models, and model agencies.

Minors were also prostituted out of bars. In some cases, there would be as many as 50 to 75 minors at a single bar. Detectives found that minors were from different sections of the country and were generally runaways, some leaving from various organizations they had been placed into by the state. The investigation also noted that the younger children would be placed on narcotics in order to keep them under control, and were told not to talk to the police, and that if they did, they would receive bodily harm or be killed.

One of the key figures in the investigation was William Oates, who ran pornographic film and burlesque houses out of D.C., Pittsburgh, and New York which catered to male homosexual clientele and had live stage performances by dancers who doubled as prostitutes. Another subject of the investigation was Paul Abrams, who ran a call service out of New York, which included male prostitutes and children. Abrams was later arrested and pled guilty to prostitution, but received only probation for his involvement in the felony offense.

Detectives also stated that these call services would supplement their income by selling information on the sexual proclivities of their clients to agents of British, Israeli, and Soviet intelligence services. Intelligence agencies have a documented history of seeking sexual blackmail to exert control over public figures and government assets.

According to investigators, anti-human trafficking efforts were hampered by lack of funding and almost no support from the federal government. Additionally, trafficking victims would often be unwilling to return home and face judgmental scrutiny from their local communities.

In this lecture former Nebraska policewoman, Kathryn Bolkovac served as a U.N. peacekeeper. Ms. Bolkovac discusses her story of human trafficking, and other topics with Tanya Domi, whose reporting broke this story. Kathryn Bolkovac's post was with the International Police Task Force which was arranged by DynCorp Aerospace. She was assigned to run the IPTF office that investigates sex trafficking, domestic abuse and sexual assault to support the UN peacekeeping mission in Bosnia.

But once she arrived in Sarajevo, she discovered military officers involved in human trafficking and forced prostitution, with links to private mercenary contractors, the UN, and the U.S. State Department.
After bringing this evidence to light, Bolkovac was successively demoted, threatened with bodily harm, fired, and ultimately forced to flee the country under cover of darkness—bringing the incriminating documents with her.
