Sutton's bright and beautiful smile brought tears to my eyes. I wish him all the best and will pray for him.

I love the book, too. What a loving and creative parents he has!

Thank you for posting the link to the book, I really enjoyed reading it and seeing little Sutton at the end. It brought a smile to my face when I read the words "crazy hat".
A beautifully tender way to re name the distraction device to your son.

Sutton will certainly be in my prayers :flowers:

That's a great book, Pneumaticmatt. Your son, Sutton, you and the rest of your family will be in my thoughts and prayers.

:flowers:

Wishing your family and your beautiful son all the best. That was such a wonderful book your wife made.

Hi Pneumaticmatt,

Wishing you and your family my heartfelt prayers for Sutton's surgery and his speedy recovery. What a great little man he is and a strong family you are!

Your wife's book idea is wonderful for Sutton, and for other kids in similar situations too.

My positive thoughts and prayers are with you all :flowers:

All the best to you Sutton.
You will be in my prayers, I hope everything goes well for you.
Best wishes to you all.

Hello Pneumaticmatt
Your wife did a wonderful job on the book, I loved it! He's such a beautiful little boy...an angel with beautiful blue eyes.
"You have my thoughts and my prayers little Sutton and I will say a little prayer for your Mom and
Dad and your siblings too." *Hugs

Hi All,

Sutton's surgery went quite well.
We are in ICU recovering.

Thank you everyone for your prayers!
But we are not out of the woods yet.

If all goes well we might be sent to a regular unit tomorrow.
They watch for signs of infection for about 48 hours, so we'll keep our fingers crossed he doesn't develop any.

Boy oh boy, the distraction device is a lot scarier looking in person.
Doctor said he'll have to wear it 3 months in lieu of two, because his skin is so tight due to previous surgeries.

I do appreciate the positive feedback from those of you that read the "I am Sutton" book.

Cheers!

I'm very happy to read this, you will be in my prayers and thought tonight.

That’s great news that the surgery went well. If the results are as hoped for, will Sutton have to undergo more?
