Predictions and Prophecies

Below is an alleged prophecy made in the 1968 by an old woman in Norway. It concerns in particular Christianity and Scandinavia, as she was from Norway, but there is also comments about Europe and the world. Today most of it has happened, except the coming of Jesus as she framed it and a catastrophic war. While that may raise curiosity, what she then said about the future which is now our past allows for reflection on the development that society has been through and how the values of society have changed. At the end there is this:
The remnant in the wealthy countries will try to flee to the poor countries, but they will be as hard on us as we were on them.
Which may explain why this prophecy received media attention during the peak of the European refugee flow of 2015-2016. Actually, in the event of a new Ice Age rebound, people in Northern countries would be among the first to need a new home.

The prophecy was first published in 2001, but the book is no longer available. After these excerpts there are comments about the source and references.
An old woman of 90 from Valdres in Norway had a vision from God in 1968. The evangelist Emanuel Minos had meetings (services) where she lived. He had the opportunity to meet her, and she told him what she had seen. He wrote it down, but thought it to be so unintelligible that he put it in a drawer. Now, almost 50 years later, he understands he has to share the vision with others.

The woman from Valdres was a very alert, reliable, awake and credible Christian, with a good reputation among all who knew her. This is what she saw:

"I saw the time just before the coming of Jesus and the outbreak of the Third World War. I saw the events with my natural eyes. I saw the world like a kind of a globe and saw Europe, land by land. I saw Scandinavia. I saw Norway. I saw certain things that would take place just before the return of Jesus, and just before the last calamity happens, a calamity the likes of which we have never before experienced.

She mentioned four waves:

1. "First before Jesus comes and before the Third World War breaks out, there will be a 'détente' like we have never had before. There will be peace between the super powers in the east and the west, and there will be a long peace. (Remember, that this was in 1968 when the cold war was at its highest. —E. Minos) In this period of peace there will be disarmament in many countries, also in Norway and we are not prepared when it (the war) comes. The Third World War will begin in a way no one would have anticipated—and from an unexpected place.

2. "A lukewarmness without parallel will take hold of the Christians, a falling away from true, living Christianity. Christians will not be open for penetrating preaching. They will not, like in earlier times, want to hear of sin and grace, law and gospel, repentance and restoration. There will come a substitute instead: prosperity (happiness) Christianity.

"The important thing will be to have success, to be something; to have material things, things that God never promised us in this way. Churches and prayer houses will be emptier and emptier. Instead of the preaching we have been used to for generations—like, to take your cross up and follow Jesus—entertainment, art and culture will invade the churches where there should have been gatherings for repentance and revival. This will increase markedly just before the return of Jesus.

3. "There will be a moral disintegration that old Norway has never experienced the likes of. People will live together like married without being married. (I do not believe the concept 'co-habitor'? existed in 1968. —E. Minos.) Much uncleanness before marriage, and much infidelity in marriage will become the natural (the common), and it will be justified from every angle. It will even enter Christian circles and we pet it—even sin against nature. Just before Jesus' return there will be TV programs like we have never experienced. (TV had just arrived in Norway in 1968. —E. Minos)

"TV will be filled with such horrible violence that it teaches people to murder and destroy each other, and it will be unsafe in our streets. People will copy what they see. There will not be only one 'station' on TV, it will be filled with 'stations.' (She did not know the word 'channel' which we use today. Therefore she called them stations. —E. Minos.) TV will be just like the radio where we have many 'stations,' and it will be filled with violence. People will use it for entertainment. We will see terrible scenes of murder and destruction one of the other, and this will spread in society. Sex scenes will also be shown on the screen, the most intimate things that takes place in a marriage." (I protested and said, "We have a paragraph that forbids this kind of thing." —E. Minos.) It will happen, and you will see it. All we have had before will be broken down, and the most indecent things will pass before our eyes.

4. "People from poor countries will stream to Europe. (In 1968 there was no such thing as immigration. —E. Minos.) They will also come to Scandinavia and Norway. There will be so many of them that people will begin to dislike them and become hard with them. They will be treated like the Jews before the Second World War. Then the full measure of our sins will have been reached (I protested at the issue of immigration. I did not understand it at the time. —E. Minos.)

The tears streamed from the old woman's eyes down her cheeks. "I will not see it, but you will. Then suddenly, Jesus will come and the Third World War breaks out. It will be a short war." (She saw it in the vision.)

"All that I have seen of war before is only child's play compared to this one, and it will be ended with a nuclear atom bomb. The air will be so polluted that one cannot draw one's breath. It will cover several continents, America, Japan, Australia and the wealthy nations. The water will be ruined (contaminated?). We can no longer till the soil. The result will be that only a remnant will remain. The remnant in the wealthy countries will try to flee to the poor countries, but they will be as hard on us as we were on them.

About the origin:
Emanuel Minos was a Norwegian theologian who worked with the Pentacostal movement. Once after a sermon in a rural district in the 1960'ies he was approached by an old woman who wanted to tell him about her vision and asked him to write it down and share it at his meetings. He did write it down but apparently not the name of the woman. What she said was too far out in his opinio,n and he decided never to publish it, but many years later, in 1993, the slip of paper dropped out of the piles, as he was looking for something else and he read the old notes again, now with much more appreciation, as many of the developments the woman had described, had happened in the meantime. Emanuel Minos passed away in 2014, but had before then shared the notes from the meeting both in his talks and in one of his books, Fra Reykjavik til Jerusalem from 2001. In Norwegian there are Youtubes from a church, and in an audio part 1, (introduction) part 2 (what the old lady said) with talks where he mentions the meeting with the old lady and what she had to say. Later people have tried to find out who it was and a journalist, Hilde Lundgaard at the well known Norwegian paper, Aftonbladet, did some research and the name was Gunhild Smelhus from Etnedal in Valdres in Norway, who died at the age of 98 in 1973. For the article that was published on February 28, they interviewed a grandson of the lady, Alf Smelhus, who said the lady never talked about her vision in the family, they interviewed the priest at the parish she lived in, and in addition a professor of theology in Osla besides a pastor in Oslo. From the family they found a picture of the old woman with a grandson:

The above details of the article in the Norwegian newspaper were found here, as I had no access to the original news paper article. Emanuel Minos believe the validity of prophecies should be tested but prophets should also be respected. Emanuel Minos is a preacher, and close to fundamentalism at least when it came to the Bible. I have listened to different retellings of Minos of this encounter with the old woman and he also explains his reaction to what she said as well as how she said it in terms of voice and how she used gestures to explain the many TV Stations. Minos explains in this video in Norwegian from 2001 that we acquire knowledge in fragments and that we prophesize in fragments, but that this does not prevent us from using prophecy as a map to make us aware of where we are.

Interesting. As far as prophecies go, that one is not bad at all. Because as they say, it's very hard to make predictions, especially about the future! Apart from the World War - which may still happen - her remarks about social tendencies seem quite accurate. Perhaps because, I imagine, predicting overall trends is easier than predicting single, specific events - whether one is psychic or simply very clever. Moral degradation or mass migration are large social trends, while a World War would be an event, I think. However, a WW would be a *likely* event considering other trends, such as arms race, etc. I mean, if countries historically equip themselves with millions of proverbial hammers, other nations will inevitably look like nails, and logic dictates that eventually someone will start hammering.

Most interesting and darned spot on, especially about the social issues.

I wonder if she might have seen comet impacts and interpreted it as War?

One thing seems sure, things can't go on much longer as they are. I saw a video on Twitter today of a mass of commuters pulling a climate protestor off a train and beating him up. I'm afraid that's going to start becoming a lot more common as people begin to fully grok that the whole Climate deal is both real AND an attempt to scam the people. Those persons who are vocal "faces" of different movements that are soon to be perceived as "at fault" will be the main targets, not the string pullers behind them.

Things just may get very ugly very fast.

Yes, the social climate is getting tenser. A lot of people are getting pretty angry about all those "safe the climate" people and understandably so. Both sides don't seem to realize though, how they are being worked up against each other, while the main drivers of this divide and conquer strategy are not addressed. All those climate people are setting themselves up as targets based on a pretty obvious lie. Wonder how all of this will look like when the new generation gets older since a lot of them are driven into this hysteria right now.

Indeed; there are going to be a lot of tears before bedtime over the coming years. So many people seem to be on the verge of, or actually, losing their ****, as the young'uns online might say. This 'divide and conquer' tactic is an old'un but a good'un as it seems to be working with the masses, unfortunately. People seem to be polarising into extreme positions which inevitably leads to an 'us against them' world. Handy for the ultra elites as that stops the masses uniting against them. However, the reaction of the public against the ER tube protestors in London today suggests that there might be light at the end of the tunnel. Is that indicative of the silent majority reaching the end of their tether and not being willing to suffer in silence anymore? We'll see. We certainly live in interesting times!

So true.

But, on the other hand, it is a sort of "Darwinian" or Malthusian process. Those who are stupid enough to believe the propaganda will get wiped out by those who think that just dealing with everyday life is enough.

Speaking of prophesies, I found this from Stainton Moses' channelling interesting, channelled in the 1870ies, mind you:

Our work is an organised missionary effort to disseminate Truth, without which the spiritual life of your world would die. Of religion there is but little amongst you, and what little there is has, in most cases, lost its power to influence life and action. The vitality has gone, and the appearance alone remains. As it was in the time of the Christ, so now. Men are anxiously looking for something that is to come.
The whole fabric of society is honeycombed, and there are mines which may explode at any moment.

What you call communism or socialism is an evil, the full potency of which none of your statesmen at present realise. In this very city it may suddenly show itself, and ruin your whole social system. It is responsible for all the discontent which in the near future will vex the legislators of your country. This your world, in its social and religious aspects, has come to its last gasp, and needs some new power to give it vitality. We regard what you call Spiritualism as the only possible antidote to this festering mass of corruption, the only means of purifying your world. We tell you plainly that your age is hollow, flashy and unreal. As the blessed air of Heaven keeps natural things pure, so the spiritual air from our world purifies and invigorates your spiritual life. Religion of some kind is needed by all.

and

Long ago we told you that attacks would be made on the existing embodiments of order in each country; Spain, Germany, Italy and still more in Russia. This has been the case, and a still more terrible manifestation of discord is to come. (Socialism, communism, atheism, nihilism–different names for the same insidious malady – are on the increase in your world.) Possibly these forces may be used for good when they have spent their powers; but at present they are wielded by the adversaries who animate the principles of disorder, in order to oppose our work.

Look at all great leaders, and you will find they have been men possessed with a burning sense of some wrong against which they contend; or with an earnest desire for some reform, for which they were ever ready to fight. There must be an end in view to make a man strenuous and earnest in opposing evil or contending for good. But in the case of men with strong views and strong character, the danger is that they may work only for their own ends, and so become selfish. Selfishness is the one great centre of spiritual disease. He who contends for himself becomes selfish, while he who contends for Truth becomes one of a vast brotherhood.”

So true.

But, on the other hand, it is a sort of "Darwinian" or Malthusian process. Those who are stupid enough to believe the propaganda will get wiped out by those who think that just dealing with everyday life is enough.

It seems to tie into the whole moralistic backlash prophesied by the C's against the transgender hysteria as well. For a while it was difficult to see this happening given "their" total control of the media, deciding policy in schools, corporations, police etc. But having watched that tube video and keeping in mind other things like the yellow vest movement, I can see how this situation could turn on a dime. As usual, the thing that tends to happen is the thing that the least number of people expect. And as usual it probably won't be pretty for anyone involved.

The whole thing reminds me of Lobaczweski's discussion of tomatoes which I quote below in extenso. Notice that he states that the pathological types have a condition similar to color blindness: they just canNOT see what normal people see and they are baffled that their increasing efforts - doubling and tripling down - just don't work.

As adduced above, the anomaly distinguished as essential psychopathy inspires the overall phenomenon in a well-developed pathocracy and betrays biological analogies to the well known phenomenon called Daltonism, color-blindness or near-blindness as regard to red and green. For the purpose of an intellectual exercise, let us thus imagine that Daltonists have managed to take over power in some country and have forbidden the citizens from distinguishing these colors, thus eliminating the distinction between green (unripe) and ripe tomatoes. Special vegetable patch inspectors armed with pistols and pickets would patrol the areas to make sure the citizens picked not only the ripe tomatoes. Such inspectors could not, of course, be totally color-blind themselves (otherwise they could not exercise this extremely important function), They could not suffer more than near-blindness as regards these colors. However, they would have to belong to the clan of people made nervous by any discussion about colors.

With such authorities around, the citizens might even be willing to eat a green tomato and affirm quite convincingly that it was ripe. But once the severe inspectors left for some other garden far away enough, there would be the shower of comments it does not behoove me to adduce in a scientific work. The citizens would than pick nicely vine-ripened tomatoes, make a salad with cream, and add a few drops of rum for flavor.

May I suggest that all normal people whom fate has forced to live under pathocratic rule make the serving of a salad according to the above recipe into a symbolic custom. Any guest recognizing the symbol by its color and aroma will refrain from making any comments. Such a custom might hasten the reinstallation of a normal man’s system.

The pathological authorities are convinced that the appropriate pedagogical, indoctrinational, propaganda, and terrorist means can teach a person with a normal instinctive substratum, range of feelings, and basic intelligence to think and feel according to their own different fashion. This conviction is only slightly less unrealistic, psychologically speaking, than the belief that people able to see colors normally can be broken of this habit.

Actually, normal people cannot get rid of the characteristics with which the Homo sapiens species was endowed by its phylogenetic past. Such people will thus never stop feeling and perceiving psychological and socio-moral phenomena in much the same way their ancestors had been doing for hundreds of generations. Any attempt to make a society subjugated to the above phenomenon “learn” this different experiential manner imposed by pathological egotism is, in principle, fated for failure regardless of how many generations it might last. It does, however, call forth a series of improper psychological results which may give the pathocrats the appearance of success. However, it also provokes society to elaborate pinpointed, well-thought-out self-defense measures based on its cognitive and creative efforts.

Pathocratic leadership believes that it can achieve a state wherein those “other” people’s minds become dependent by means of the effects of their personality, perfidious pedagogical means, the means of mass-information, and psychological terror; such faith has a basic meaning for them. In their conceptual world, pathocrats consider it virtually self-evident that the “others” should accept their obvious, realistic, and simple way of apprehending reality. For some mysterious reason, though, the “others” wriggle out, slither away, and tell each other jokes. Someone must be responsible for this, pre-revolutionary oldsters, or some radio stations abroad. It thus becomes necessary to improve the methodology of action, find better “soul engineers” with a certain literary talent, and isolate society from improper literature and any foreign influence. Those experiences and intuitions whispering that this is a Sisyphean labor must be repressed from the field of consciousness.

The conflict is thus dramatic for both sides. The first feels insulted in its humanity, rendered obtuse, and forced to think in a manner contrary to healthy common sense. The other stifles the premonition that if this goal cannot be reached, sooner or later things will revert to normal man’s rule, including their vengeful lack of understanding of the pathocrats’ personalities. So if it does not work, it is best not to think about the future, just prolong the status quo by means of the above-mentioned efforts. Toward the end of this book, it will behoove us to consider the possibilities for untying this Gordian knot.

However, such a pedagogical system, rife with pathological egotisation and limitations, produces serious negative results, especially in those generations unfamiliar with any other conditions of life. Personality development is impoverished, particularly regarding the more subtle values widely accepted in societies. We observe the characteristic lack of respect for one’s own organism and the voice of nature and instinct, accompanied by brutalization of feelings and customs, to be explained away by a sense of injustice. The tendency to be morally judgmental in interpreting the behavior of those who caused one’s suffering sometimes leads to a demonological world view. At the same time, adaptation and resourcefulness within these different conditions become the object of recognition.

A person who has been the object of the effects of the egotistic behavior of pathological individuals for a long time becomes saturated with their characteristic psychological material to such an extent that we can thereupon frequently discern the kind of psychological anomalies which affected him. The personalities of former concentration-camp inmates have become saturated with generally psychopathic material ingested from camp commanders and tormentors, creating a phenomenon so widespread that it later becomes a primary motive of psychotherapy. Becoming aware of this makes it easier for them to throw off this burden and re-establish contact with the normal human world. In particular, being shown appropriate statistical data concerning the appearance of psychopathy in a given population facilitates their search for a calmer view of their nightmare years and a rebuilding of trust in their fellow man.

Wow, Lobaczweski's discussion absolutely hits the nail on the head as to what we are seeing in so many areas. It's mind boggling at times to get your head around the complete nonsense we are supposed to accept, but this explains the whole process perfectly, it's exactly what is going on.

Trying to keep abreast of all the events can, in my case, sometimes start to slowly draw me in to the dangerously obsessive viewpoint.. Needing to remain as objective as possible can become quite tricky. A regular reading of the above chapter, quoted by Laura, would be a great help to anyone. Thank you for the reminder. I do not like green tomatoes!!!!!!

Craig Hamilton-Parker seems to be quite a well-known english psychic. (Note: his logo shows a "winged eye". This could be an egyptian Isis reference)

Recently he visited a palm leaf library in India. These libraries are said to be thousands of years old. And you can visit these libraries and see if a leaf is kept for you that tells your future. Your future - as in: written down thousands of years ago and stored for so long just for your visit.

So Craig Hamilton-Parker went there and asked about the future of Donald Trump. Surely there was a leaf for Trump. In this video, he explains what the future holds for Trump:

NEW A psychic warning for Donald Trump

- Trump will win a second term
- Danger of assassination
- An older, female person will follow after Trump's term ends
- Trump has the chance to leave a legacy in history that will make him look fantastic - if he takes the right steps.
- No major wars, no World War III during his presidency
- After his presidency Trump will do something amazing, something extraordinary, something more important than the presidency itself.

That raises some questions:
- Why would someone else have access to someone else's personal information?
- Why is sensitive information about an important world figure available to everyone?
- It is impossible, even for a yogi, to produce such a large amount of accurate readings for at least millions of people. So the original writers probably "channeled" their content. Was the source behind this library STO or STS?

I don't see anything in the above that a person paying close attention could not predict on their own based on available data and a bit of common sense. No offense intended of course.
