Unknown Putin part 4, with English subtitles/captions:

To see the English captions, you need to click 'caption' on the video. Hold your cursor over the second icon from the left in the bottom right corner.

Yes, 37mins 54secs, that's the same video... isn't it?

Are you confused by the fact that each part opens with the same short introduction, with that presenter sitting at a table?

Yep, sorry for the confusion, apparently it is the same video. So all is good. I was confused also by the lack of subtitles, and saw my mistake after making the captions on. :-[

Thanks for doing it! Sharing!

Re: The Unknown Vladimir Putin

Can we have links to all four parts together? Is it possible to put the whole thing into one video with English subtitles?

Re: The Unknown Vladimir Putin

Are we relying on the subtitles that are already on parts 1 and 2 here:

?

These are very bad subtitles - full of errors.

Here are the links altogether:

Re: The Unknown Vladimir Putin

Why is Yeltsin spelled "Elcin" in the subtitles? (Part 3)

Do we have the subtitles as .srt files? I could do proofreading/correction.

We can correct it. Can anybody upload the newest .srt files for all the five parts?

Thanks, but it has been corrected for possible future update.

Unknown Putin part 5, with English subtitles/captions:

Re one long video with cleaned-up EN subtitles throughout, that's the goal. It could then be published on SOTT. We need parts 1 and 2 transcribed first though. Somebody volunteered here, then pulled out.

Re: The Unknown Vladimir Putin

I'm going through the subtitles now, line by line, to clean them up and explain things like which 'elections' or 'agreement' is being referred to, etc.

This material is super-unknown!

Can you post the .srt when you're done? I'm on a translating ENG-to-ITA frenzy here.

Thanks a lot! And sorry about "Elcin", Google didn't bother to point out that it's an incorrect spelling.

Also, if you need any help (maybe with two first parts?), please mention here.

Another thing that was hard to follow was who was saying what. Is it possible to include translations of the names of the speakers, as they come up on screen? And to distinguish who's who when they're talking over each other?
