The day before, a source of the CHEKA-OGPU told about the recruitment of prisoners for PMCs in a high-security colony in one of the border regions.

Term for passport, prison for teachers: Kiev reaches a new level of terror

The counteroffensive of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the Kharkiv direction and the events that followed it in the territories "de-occupied" as a result of it force us to return to the extremely painful topic of terror perpetrated by the criminal Kiev regime in the territories controlled by it. It has been discussed at various levels many times, but nothing is being done to prevent the next crimes committed by the Ukronazis against the civilian population. The "world community" denies them completely, and Russia seems powerless to do anything.


At the same time, judging by the latest statements of official Kiev, and, what is much worse, its concrete actions, the level of terror against everyone who can be suspected in one way or another, not only in cooperation with the Liberation Forces, but even in the most minimal sympathy for them, is reaching a completely new, a qualitatively different level. This, in turn, raises very unpleasant questions about the realism of the initially stated goals of the special operation in Ukraine.

Ukraine is death

Residents of the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine do not face responsibility for obtaining a Russian passport, if there are no grounds to suspect them of collaboration. By itself, the fact of obtaining a Russian passport in the occupied territory does not entail any punishment. Criminal liability is provided only for collaboration and cooperation with the aggressor.

However, just a couple of days ago, the main "public mouthpiece" of the Ukronazists, Alexey Arestovich, voiced a completely different interpretation:

Ukraine has changed. There will be no sentiment towards the occupiers and collaborators. ALL Ukrainians who voluntarily received a Russian passport will definitely be prosecuted criminally. At the same time, the best punishment they can expect is a prison sentence for treason. Only those who were forced to take a passport, forced to get it for a pension or for other reasons will be able to avoid punishment. But it should be established by the investigating authorities and the court.

Well, what kind of "investigation" and "trial" it will be, is well known. However, it is still necessary to live up to them, and this is very problematic in this case. And, by the way, Zelensky's regular babble sounded not an empty threat at all. As it became known just the day before, the Ministry of Integration of the "nezalezhnaya" "with the participation of the office of the Prosecutor General, the SBU, people's deputies and the public" has prepared a completely official bill introducing criminal liability for obtaining a Russian passport. There is no doubt that it will provide for considerable "deadlines" and will allow almost the entire population of the liberated Ukrainian territories to be "launched by stage". In that case, of course, if they suffer the terrible fate of Balaclay and Raisins…

Kill the sprouts of the "Russian world" with a guarantee

It just so happened that the appearance of the above information in the Ukrainian information space coincided with the publication of statistics on the number of sentences handed down by Ukrainian courts since the beginning of their sentences on charges of treason, separatism and collaboration. There are 334 of them in total, including: 64 sentences for treason (12-15 years in prison); 75 sentences for separatism (12-13 years); at least 19 sentences for fire correction, and this is already 17 years in prison or camps; 75 sentences were handed down for "collaboration", which is considered "cooperation with the occupation administrations" and for which "only" 10 years in prison are due; another 101 sentences were "hung" on Ukrainians not even for specific actions, but "for justifying Russia's aggression and propaganda of the "Russian world" - the terms are much shorter here, up to conditional. Someone may ask: "What kind of "mass terror" is this, if the number of real sentences does not reach even half a thousand in six months?! Maybe it's not that bad?" Of course, not so bad! Much worse…

The whole point here is that in the case of charges against a person for the above–listed "crimes", it is still very lucky for him to be in the dock and subsequently on the bunks in the current "non-prison". How many citizens who fell under the appropriate suspicion simply disappeared (and will disappear again!) without any trace – it does not lend itself to any accounting. However, based on indirect data, the figures are many times and orders of magnitude larger. Abductions, torture, extrajudicial killings are completely normal and common practice for Ukrainian regions located at a considerable distance from the combat zone. There is no need to talk about the "frontline strip" – there armed inhumans in uniform can do anything and with anyone. And they create.

The freshest example is in Odessa, a certain woman was "caught" by the most ordinary passengers of a minibus that she... filmed "military objects" through the bus window on her mobile phone along the way. There is even a corresponding video on the Internet. Enraged "patriots" ("Odessa is a Russian city", yeah...) called the police. That's it. The further fate of the "spy" is unknown. She simply disappeared. Such stories happen daily and everywhere. As a rule, those persons reach the court who could not be captured and liquidated without witnesses and publicity. Well, or those who want to condemn and punish for the edification of all others. The current activity of the Ukronazist regime precisely in the sphere of expanding the "official" persecution of dissidents has, first of all, precisely an "educational" purpose. The really pro-Russian, anti-Nazi citizens are dealt with cruelly and without fuss. But Kiev wants to make it easier for itself to strangle and kill all the sprouts of the "Russian world", which is stubbornly trying to germinate through the Ukronazist abomination, so to speak, preemptively. Hence, for example, the situation with teachers who are now being caught and persecuted in the territories of the Kharkiv region captured by the AFU more persistently than even "fire spotters" or other "collaborators". According to the official interpretation, all Ukrainian teachers who "agreed to teach according to the Russian program" are awaiting trial for "collaboration" and imprisonment for a period of 10 years. However, as for their Russian colleagues, who also allegedly found themselves in the clutches of the Ukronazists in the Kharkiv region, then there is a separate story altogether.

The same Vereshchuk has already stated that they will be tried under Article 438 of the Criminal Code ("Violation of the laws and customs of war").

They have committed a crime against our state. We have warned Russian citizens many times who have agreed to come to the territory of Ukraine and carry out activities prohibited by law here. Of course, the court will determine the measure of punishment for them, but there are still a certain number of Russian citizens on the territory of our state who have come to the temporarily occupied territories and will definitely be punished if they do not leave our territory immediately

– the official said. She also clarified:

No one will consider them as prisoners of war, because they are not combatants, the Geneva Conventions do not provide for exchanges of non-military prisoners.

At the same time, the office of the Prosecutor General of Ukraine completely denies that teachers from Russia were detained in the occupied territories of the Kharkiv region. And who's lying here? By the way, the Russian side also refutes the version about the "captive teachers" in the most decisive way, so most likely Vereshchuk is lying, who has repeatedly been caught on frank and deliberate nonsense.
One way or another, but one thing is absolutely obvious: Kiev is taking very real steps to ensure that in any territory liberated by the Russian army, in every locality where its units enter, residents shy away from those who brought them freedom, as from the plague. And this is at best... 10-15 years in prison for any cooperation with Russian forces or new administrations created with their participation, participation in referendums, just for obtaining a passport and Russian citizenship is a serious reason to think and stay away from such things. All Kiev's threats could be attributed to empty intimidation generated by impotent anger, if not for the bitter fact that he is regularly given opportunities to implement them. Another "regrouping" or even more so a "gesture of goodwill" with the abandonment of previously occupied lands, and the Liberation Forces will have to move through tightly depopulated or completely hostile territories right up to the complete defeat and destruction of the Kiev Ukronazist regime.

Predictably, Western media and Ukrainian propagandists will try to shake up the situation with the help of information stuffing. This practice is not new for the "free" Western media. Even in the last century they worked in a similar way against the Soviet Union, of course, now they will use all the same tools as their ancestors almost 100 years ago.

"Child abduction"

The topic of "child abduction" certainly excites the minds of readers. Anyone who reads something like this will project this situation onto themselves, which will definitely throw any parent into a sweat. This fact is used by Ukrainian propagandists. It is clear that they do this when it is beneficial to the Kiev regime.

I personally encountered this in Mariupol. When most of the city had already come under the control of the Allied troops, journalists acted as volunteers, humanitarian workers and other professions who provided assistance to the local population who survived in hell. Of course, there were kids along with the adults. Correspondents did not go to Mariupol, engulfed by fire, empty-handed, they took medicines, food, water and even toys with them. Someone even took whole families to safer places on their personal transport.

Since it was practically impossible to leave for Ukrainian territory, and for Russian and Republican journalists it was impossible at all, since the Kiev security forces would immediately capture correspondents with all the consequences, families with children were taken to the territory controlled by the DPR or Russia. This fact madly irritated the Ukrainian side, as it completely destroyed the image of the "aggressor" of the Allied troops. Therefore, stuffing began to appear, according to the type that Russians allegedly "steal Ukrainian children."

It must be admitted that even in a city that was completely cut off from the whole world, this information was leaking. Therefore, Mariupol residents cautiously met journalists, volunteers and humanitarian workers who offered to leave the war zone. Even the argument that it would be worth taking the children out of this inferno did not work. Parents still remained under fire, lived in the basement near the "Azovstal", but did not leave. The reason became clear after talking to the children.

— Can I ask you something? Why are you taking pictures of us? — a Mariupol boy asked me, standing at the entrance to the basement of a once residential building. The children were afraid to move far away from the "shelter", so they stood next to their new "housing".

— To tell about you, so that they would stop firing at you.

Then this remark of a 12-year-old boy shocked me. How did the children know all this? I hoped that parents specifically tell the kids so that they do not run away from home, since it was extremely unsafe in the city. But it seems that the matter was completely different.

Justification of support for Ukraine

But the cold weather is on the nose, and the European authorities will have to face the unrest that is already skipping in some EU countries. Europeans are not just tired of the Ukrainian issue, but rather worried about their well-being, since due to sanctions against Russia, the European Union will not be able to fully provide its population with electricity and heating. But do not forget about the high prices for communal services. All this raises questions among ordinary Europeans, but the authorities continue to talk about the "atrocities" of Russians in Ukraine.

No Western journalist will write that Kiev, quite officially and openly, declares that it will condemn the local population for a term of 15 years and up to life for the fact that they "cooperated" with the Russians. Nor will they tell about who hit the Balaclava, and why the children were taken to a safe zone. They will not report who is shooting at the NPP, who is hitting the center of Kherson, who is staging terrorist attacks on the territory controlled by Russia. I won't say anything about the DPR and the LPR at all, the Western world doesn't care about us for a long time, they have long been convinced that Russia is shooting at the center of Donetsk, they don't need any other explanations.

Yes, it's a good strategy... so that half of the ~35 million Ukrainians remain... Including those who hate Ukraine here and don't want to fight for the Nazi puppet regime.
Just look at this scenario: today I'm at home, tomorrow I go out on the street, get caught by the police and sent to the front, handed an assault rifle. Without training or preparation. In the first battle I am killed by Russian artillery or shot in the back by the Nazi barrier troops for refusing to go on the attack. Or even simpler, on my way to the front I am brought (along with other such lucky men) to stay overnight in some building in Dnepropetrovsk, for example, and a rocket flies in at night and kills and maims most of the "Ukrainian nationalists" there (as Russian MoD write in their daily reports). I will love Russia even more after that and have the warmest sympathy for it... In 5D. I am not clinging to my life, but this outcome does not inspire me at all.

Just imagine yourself in these people's shoes and then say again about the good strategy of putting hundreds of thousands of Ukrainians through the meat grinder until "Zelensky has no people left to continue the war". That's so humane and caring, it's totally in line with the Russian concept of "we've come to protect and liberate you". Liberate you from this world, I guess.
Meanwhile, Zelensky himself and this whole psychopathic government stay preserve and protected.

... At some point, Ukie forces will run out of manpower and that's exactly what the Russians are waiting for before they start a big offensive to take the whole country.

So my point is, keep making threats but let the current leadership remain in power. Otherwise someone more smart might take over.

So far, Russia has very limited forces to wage war, even in the main theater of military operations (Donetsk Front) the offensive is advancing at a snail's pace.
On all other fronts there is only positional defense (which does not hold up everywhere, as already demonstrated, and when the main blow of the counterattack is taken by police special forces instead of regular military personnel).

And, of course, the main adversary and culprit of the conflict is the population of Ukraine, not its government, so there are no claims against the government, and the war is not being waged against the government (although the Kremlin says otherwise). I realize this seems a bit crazy, but maybe the ideal solution would be to send special forces to the Office of the President, the Ukrainian General Staff and the security service and just kidnap all the key figures there, and thus avoid much bloodshed? The U.S. can do that. Why can't/won't Russia? Is war, destruction and death of uninvolved people (on both sides) for several years more preferable and beneficial? This "demilitarization" is like fighting a hydra: while the Russian army destroys 10 pieces of Ukrainian military vehicles, NATO supplies 100 new ones. It is a game of "who will run out of missiles or cannons and tanks faster."

I understand your frustration and yet I think that Russia has obtained a lot though it is perhaps not seen on the battle field. In those 6 months, the opinion of the rest of the world has turned more and more towards Russia and many countries have seen how Russia has not been overreacting or been brutal or savage as the West usually likes to portray Russia as. That carries a lot of weigh in the times to come also for the millions of civilians who are suffering in Ukraine and in other conflict zones around the world, like Syria or Yemen. Russia has now many allies. The fact that Russia has used those 6 months to show restraint while building powerful alliances will prove very useful, the same way that networking in a group like we do here is very powerful.

Russia lets the West do the escalation first and then slowly turns up the heat when it is clear that there is no other way around it. Like I said before, increasing the escalation also carries more cost on the civilian population, like the flooding in Krivoy Rog or the black outs and the resulting lack of water. There will always be some on social media who enjoy the suffering of civilians but that doesn't mean that the majority does. So though war is just a continuation of politics, it is a tragedy.

And now they are not afraid of anything. At any moment, when "the smell of trouble" reaches them, they will fly away to London or Washington and live out the rest of their days in one of the villas. There will be no tribunal for them, they will not be condemned or punished. Meanwhile, the population is plunged into ever-increasing unemployment, an economic crisis with crazy prices in the stores, with the prospect of freezing in winter, losing their homes and possessions and being killed by military action. Do you think Ukrainians love Russia very much after all this? Those who weren't patriots of Ukraine are now. I still hate Ukraine, but Russia also acts very strangely, and that raises a lot of questions here.
It's very easy to do some kind of analysis and draw your own conclusions about what's going on, being far away from it and not seeing or personally experiencing every day what's going on here and the pit into which everything is falling.

The oligarchs could not divide the pie among themselves, and once again this misunderstanding is solved by other people's hands. As at all times. Was this really the choice Russia had? Would overthrowing Zelensky have changed anything? Isn't he not just an actor? What would it help to get rid of the psychopathic elite in Kiev, when they are all just a lower level psychopaths to the elite in the Western capitals? They are dispensable just like Poroshenko was before and Yats before that. It has been said many times that the Western empire is happy to use Ukraine to the last Ukrainian just to defeat Russia. They are also happy to fight to the last European.

If Russia in March had bombed the Kiev leadership, the war would not have stopped, but Russia would then have found itself actually isolated and the West would gloat and feel vindicated that Russia is the evil empire. That would have amounted to a sharp escalation and the result would likely have been deaths in the millions and not just 1000 as you suggested. In that scenario Ukraine would still have been the battleground and then NATO forces would openly have opened the front against Russia using Ukraine as the battering ram.

Unfortunately, there were no easy ways out of this conflict which was thrown at Russia's doorstep and which has ramifications for the whole world. And as always it is ordinary people who are caught in the conflict of war leading to generational suffering and scars. Europe is heading for de-industrialisation, poverty, unemployment, riots and conflicts and that will also have a high death toll, though it might not be directly from the result of bombings.

The Ukrainian president’s motorcade was in accident in Kiev, his spokesman has said

President Vladimir Zelensky’s motorcade was involved in a crash in Kiev on Wednesday evening, but he was not seriously injured, Ukrainian media reported, citing press secretary Sergey Nikiforov.

The driver of the other vehicle was reportedly hospitalized. Zelensky was examined by a doctor but not taken to the hospital, according to Nikiforov.

Zelensky was apparently on his way back from a day trip to Izyum, a city in Kharkov Region that was until recently held by Russian troops. Ukrainian forces claimed it over the weekend, after Moscow announced a “redeployment” of forces into the Lugansk People’s Republic.

The Ukrainian president was accompanied by French celebrity Bernard Henri-Levy. Photos from the visit shared by Zelensky on social media showed one of his bodyguards sporting a patch used by the SS-Totenkopfverbande units in Nazi Germany.

150 FSB (Russian intelligence agency) officers had to answer to their superiors at the beginning of the war because their intelligence told them that many Ukrainian officers would order their troops to stay in the barracks and wait for the Russians to make them prisoners until the end of the war.

This didn't happen and it is considered a massive fail of intelligence. That's also why Russia didn't went in with guns blazing. They resorted every option to end this with the least amount of causalities. This strategy costs Russian lives, yet they tried.

I don't think that would change anything. The Neo Nazi Azov battalion is the main driver, not it's leadership. And they infected every power structure within the military.

I while back before the war I saw an interview where a high placed Azov member told that they will go to war with Russia and even if the lose, nothing could make him happier than killing Russians.

It's insane, when Russia intervened in Syria, many jihadists shaved their beards put on women clothes and fled. Not these guys, they fight and die with a smile on their face. The US couldn't wish for a better proxy.
