Putin Recognizes Donbass Republics, Sends Russian Military to 'Denazify' Ukraine

I'm with you.

A number of Central Europeans in countries around Germany pretend Nordstream II is only a problem of Germany, or that we can do without because we are going green anyway. Some forecasts that gas will be more expensive next year, because of Russia, but that is assuming it is even available. I think it fits very well with a scenario that creates more chaos.
My impression is that this fits perfectly with the depopulation agenda of the Davos Club and they are doing all they can for this to happen. Even without the rising gas prices, they are causing prices of energy to rise in some countries due to the fact that they must buy CO2 Credits.

Rising energy costs will lead to businesses going bust. If they do, then this will directly effects families as they will have less (if any) money for bills, food, education, medicine, ....etc. This then means the families will simply be slowly destroyed as an institution because few will be able to afford one. The rest with have issues simply living at an ever increasing cost of living.

This march to Green Utopia will do exactly this. The rest will be accomplished with indoctrination (it will be called modern education) in schools and infiltration of China Social Credit methods to control people completely

The encouragement provided to Ukraine for its uncertain EU prospects by both the EU and Germany under Chancellor Angela Merkel is preventing the full implementation of the Minsk agreements on Ukrainian reconciliation, Beatrix von Storch, a member of the European Parliament for Germany's right-wing Alternative for Germany (AfD) party, told Sputnik.

Germany, EU 'Enabling Ukraine to Refrain From Implementing Minsk Agreements'

The German chancellor paid an official visit to Kiev in late January followed by a bilateral meeting with Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko in late March in Malta, where Merkel stressed Ukraine's importance for Europe. During the early April phone conversation between Merkel, Poroshenko, and French President Francois Hollande, the European Union leaders expressed their support regarding the introduction of a visa-free regime for Ukrainians.

"The EU is enabling Ukraine to refrain from fully implementing the Minsk agreements. Both the EU and Ukraine know that if Minsk II was fully implemented, the autonomy it provides to the Donetsk and Lugansk Oblasts [regions] would hinder Ukraine's continued integration in the West. Implementation of the Minsk agreements cannot be achieved as long as Merkel continues to implicitly dangle the ever so feint prospect of EU membership to Ukraine," von Storch said.

According to the lawmaker, the EU-Ukraine association agreement, as well as Kiev's recent visa liberalization "feed into this delusion" that the European Union is Kiev’s "protector and caretaker."

Commenting on the Tuesday's meeting between Merkel and Russian President Vladimir Putin, during which the leaders vowed to maintain a dialogue despite current political troubles, Von Storch said she remained "skeptical that Merkel aims at genuine extensive dialogue."

We must not only speak but listen. Russia has made very clear how it regards the continued expansion of the EU and NATO within its near abroad. Ukraine is of significant geo-political importance to Russia. If Merkel truly listened then Russia’s interests would be respected and this conflict would never have started in the first place," the lawmaker noted.
At times it is good to look back in time to see who did what that helped us to be where we are today.
The above fragment of an old post does that nicely.

These sort of people are the "tools" being used in Ukraine by the Globalists in US and other lairs in the West.

These people are just the height of stupidity. Olaf Scholz (German chancellor) literally said the other day that "the securing of our energy needs is less important than sanctioning Russia", so something to that effect. Yes, a lot of that is just appeasing Uncle Sam and who knows what they are saying behind the scenes, but still.
Yeah, I was looking at speeches from Finnish parliament today, noticing how the MP's throughout all the parties (both the government and opposition politicians) were speaking with one voice; applauding at the halting of Nord Stream 2, demanding weapon sales to Ukraine, reassess construction plans of new nuclear plant with Rosatom, crying how Putin is evil dictator and so on. Not a single voice of reason.

European politicians are basically sanctioning themselves (or more precisely their people) with these self-defeating measures, which is probably what the US also wants, since economically broken EU increases their control and presence even more - although this may seriously backfire at some point, when European countries start to really suffer from the idiotic choices their spineless leaders are uniformly making now.

Reports are that Russian military leaders have gone to the Russian Armed Forces command center.

There are currently no civilian aircraft flying over Ukraine.

Twitter is full of reports that the invasion has begun. I have no idea what to believe.

According to this report, the UAF attacked the front.
The tempo of bombardment on the part of the UAF then intensified up until the late evening and early morning hours of February 23. By the afternoon of that same day, units of the UAF attempted to breakthrough the front in several locations with the assistance of preparatory artillery bombardment with some success. This occurred prior to Russian military units being able to advance to defensive positions. By the early evening, the Ukrainian forces that has attempted to entrench themselves were dislodged and forced to retreat, apparently with the assistance of advanced Russian military units. Following these events, Ukrainian president Zelensky addressed the nation and enacted the closure of a number of airports as described.
