Some details of this "pipe" operation are worth describing. The preparing took about 6 days. People passed through the gas pipe, according to various sources, from 12 to 15 kilometers and, unfortunately, there were not without victims. A certain number of military personnel were poisoned by methane residues, including some dead. Imagine walking 14 kilometers in a semi-bent state (the pipe diameter is 1.4 meters - you will not be able to straighten out) and at the same time dragging all the supplies, starting with provisions and water and ending with ammunition.
Finally, I will give you some figures. The number of forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Kursk region is estimated from 6,500 to 10,000 people. For comparison, the pre-war number of inhabitants in the city of Sudzha is 5000 people.
Похоже, что и в этот раз тактика подземного проникновения в тыл противника принесла существенный успех. Сам город Суджа российские силы пока не освободили, но вкупе с действиями с разных других сторон, можно сказать, что освобождена вся территория севернее и восточнее поселка Казачья Локня, а это практически половина территории, удерживаемой ВСУ в Курской области. В процессе сегодняшних боев образовалось два "котла" окружения укропских сил в районах сел Малая Локня и Мартыновка и один "полукотел" в районе сел Махновка-Колмаков.
Достойны описания некоторые подробности этой "трубной" операции. Подготовка проходила порядка 6 дней. Люди проходили по газовой трубе, по разным данным, от 12 до 15 километров и, к сожалению не обошлось без жертв. Некоторое количество военных отравились остатками метана, в том числе есть и погибшие. Представьте себе- пройти 14 километров в полусогнутом состоянии (диаметр трубы 1,4 метра- распрямиться не получится) и при этом тащить на себе все припасы, начиная с провизии и воды и кончая боекомплектом.
На последок приведу некоторые цифры. Количество сил ВСУ в Курской области оценивается от 6500 до 10000 человек. Для сравнения- довоенное количество жителей в г.Суджа 5000 человек.
