IN VIDEO: UKRAINIAN SERVICEMEN WHO SURVIVED IN IZYUM AREA, APPEALED TO THEIR COMMANDERS

Appeal of servicemen of the 79th Brigade to their commanders:
We are servicemen of the 79th Brigade, 2nd and 3rd battalions. We are located in the village of Yampol.
Our commanders led us into the forest to dig in, we had a couple of shovels for a lot of people… we were trashed – we didn’t even have time to attach a bayonet.
We sat there for 5-6 days, and the commanders abandoned us… And now we are being made deserters for the fact that we survived… There are still a lot of corpses lying there, in those pits.
I ask for your attention, especially the volunteers who help us, the officers who abandoned us – we called for the artillery, and there was nothing – no help.
We were beaten by aviation – no air defense. We were stupidly thrown for meat. Then we went out and asked the elder – was it a deputy brigade commander or a battalion commander – How is that? He said: “Mike, the commander of the DSHV (assault brigade), gave the order to go hand-to-hand on the tanks..”
Therefore, we appeal to you – Help us, because we are considered deserters… We are being put on trial as enemies, deserters who have left the battlefield. We did not leave the battle – we decided to survive.
We took the fight, with automatic machines against the armor, and those who were now alive came out of the cauldron alive. The remaining 70% of our guys are lying in the woods, corpses.
Apart from the fact that they want to make us guilty of everything – we think our commanders are guilty, probably the sector general, who – I don’t know. We ask to be taken to Mykolaiv, because an assault is being prepared there. They decided to leave us here because they want to finish us off so that you people don’t know the truth.
The 95th and 79th brigades are broken up. People (personnel) – we are reservists, there are contract servicemen, a couple of people, but we won’t name names. Even the contract servicemen understand that this is an ass. We’ve been thrown to the meat.
…Officers are fleeing from the battlefield. People, think, because if not, they will put us in jail.
An hour before the breakthrough, our officers left the command post and abandoned us. When the breakthrough came, we asked for support, they said: “occupy a circular defense,” although they were no longer on the KSP (command and observation post). When we went to the KSP, the KSP was already empty. One tank against thirty, and we went out in groups of 2, 3, 5 people. When we got to the second line, there was no one there at all who was supposed to cover us.
We are not giving up, we want to fight, but not in the 75th Assault Brigade.
…We can’t fight where abandon the wounded, officers run away in cars, they don’t even want to pick up the wounded – it’s a disgrace. Such people – are not officers – they are jackals.

PREPARATION OF MILITARY OPERATION BY NATO COUNTRIES AND UKRAINE AGAINST TRANSNISTRIA

Preparation Of Military Operation By NATO Countries And Ukraine Against Transnistria
In the past week, the situation around the small unrecognised republic of Transnistria, which lies along the Nistru River between Moldova and Ukraine, has sharply escalated.
Preparation Of Military Operation By NATO Countries And Ukraine Against Transnistria

Ukrainian saboteurs have staged several terrorist attacks on the territory of the republic. Hostile forces are being drawn towards Transnistria.
From the west, NATO units are moving towards Moldova’s borders.

If a few days ago there was information about redeployment of Romanian and Polish units, according to the latest information, large units of the USA, Portugal and other NATO countries are also moving. There are no NATO troops on Moldovan territory yet.

From the east, AFU troops and a group of thousands of foreign mercenaries, including at least 1,000 fighters from the Turkish far-right organisation Grey Wolves, Canadian, Croatian units and fighters from Scandinavian countries, are concentrated.
On 29 April, Ukrainian and Russian sources reported that Ukrainian President Zelenski allegedly offered Russia, through closed channels, to exchange Nazis from Azovstal for de-escalation in Transnistria. If this information is true, such an offer should only be perceived as an attempt to obtain additional benefits before the start of hostilities in the Transnistrian region. During the conflict in eastern Ukraine, which has lasted more than 8 years, Kiev has not fulfilled any commitments on significant issues.
On 29 April, the Bulgarian Foreign Ministry urged compatriots to leave Moldova in view of the “difficult situation” in the country and around Transnistria. Following Bulgaria, the US, Canadian, French, German, British and Israeli authorities advised their citizens not to enter Transnistria and, if possible, to leave Moldova.
It is noteworthy that the Moldovan leadership is trying its best to avoid opening hostilities in the region. Chisinau understands that the outbreak of hostilities in Transnistria will lead to a war on the territory of Moldova itself. Also, Chisinau has no alternative to Russian gas, which the republic receives at a fixed price, much lower than the market one. A large number of Moldovan citizens are working in the Russian Federation.
At the same time, Moldova’s political leadership is not independent in its decision-making. If Washington orders a military operation against Transniestria, Chisinau will be forced to obey.
In the meantime, on 28 April, the head of the Russian Foreign Intelligence Service, Naryshkin, said that Washington and Warsaw were planning to deploy a Polish “peacekeeping contingent” in the western part of Ukraine. Today, the FIS said that Naryshkin’s statement was not a version, but intelligence information obtained from several reliable sources.
“According to information received by the Russian Foreign Intelligence Service, Washington and Warsaw are working on plans to establish tight military and political control over ‘their historical possessions’ in Ukraine,” Foreign Intelligence Service spokesman Sergei Naryshkin said.
According to the FIS, the first stage of the “reunification” should be the introduction of Polish troops into the western regions of Ukraine under the guise of their “protection against Russian aggression”. Modalities for the upcoming mission are being discussed with the Biden administration. “According to preliminary agreements, it will take place without a NATO mandate, but with the participation of ‘willing states’. Warsaw has not yet been able to agree on potential participants in a ‘coalition of like-minded’,” the FIS said.
At the same time, the FIS pointed out, the Polish leadership is not interested in “unnecessary spies” in its operation. “The so-called peacekeeping contingent is planned to be deployed in those parts of Ukraine where the threat of direct clash with the Russian Armed Forces is minimal. And the priority “combat tasks” of the Polish military will include gradual interception of control over strategic objects located there from the National Guard of Ukraine. Polish special services are already searching for “agreeable” representatives of the Ukrainian elite to form a Warsaw-oriented “democratic” counterweight to the nationalists,” the FIS said in its report.
According to the Polish administration’s estimates, a preventive entrenchment in western Ukraine is highly likely to split the country. Warsaw will essentially gain control of the territories where “Polish peacekeepers” will enter. Essentially, it is an attempt to repeat the historical “deal” for Poland after the First World War, when the collective West, represented by the Entente, recognized Warsaw’s right first to occupy part of the Ukraine to protect its population from the “Bolshevik threat”, and then to incorporate those territories into the Polish state. The events that followed were a clear illustration of the colonial order and forced polonisation as the main methods of building a ‘Greater Poland’,” the FIS concluded.
In May 2022, Warsaw announced large-scale military exercises, mainly in the northern regions of the country. At the same time, exercises by NATO countries are planned in the region.
Apparently the Polish Armed Forces will be ready to conduct a military operation in Ukraine near the end of May. During the same period, we should expect a dramatic escalation of the situation around Transnistria.

THIRD BRITISH MERCENARY CAPTURED BY RUSSIAN FORCES IN UKRAINE (VIDEO)

Third British Mercenary Captured By Russian Forces In Ukraine (Video)

The Russian military has captured another British mercenary who came to Ukraine after the start of the Russian special operation to fight in the ranks of Kiev forces.
On April 29, RT aired an interview with the mercenary who identified himself as Andrew Hill. After being wounded while fighting with Kiev forces near the city of Nikolaev, Hill, a native of Plymouth in England, surrendered to the Russian military.
The Russian military moved Hill to a safe location, where he was provided with the medical care he desperately needed.

In an interview, Hill said that he first came to Ukraine to work as a volunteer on the border with Poland. While working on the border he was offered a chance to go to the frontline and fight the Russian military. Hill took on the offer. He was given an assault rifle and thrown into the frontline soon after.
Hill admitted that he was promised money for “help”. However, he claimed that he and the rest of his group didn’t receive any money in the end.
“They need to really think about it … This does not involve us,” Hill said answering a question about what he would like to say to other Brits who would like to go fight in Ukraine.
Hill is the third British mercenary to be captured by the Russian military. British mercenaries Aiden Aslin and Shaun Pinner, who were fighting in the ranks of the Ukrainian 36th Marine Brigade, were both captured in the city of Mariupol early on in April.
Other Western mercenaries were not as lucky as Hill, Aslin and Pinner. On April 28, British mercenary Scott Sibley, a former service member of the UK army, was killed by the Russian military. On April 29, Russian forces killed American mercenary Willy Cancel, a former marine who was fighting with a private military contracting company in Ukraine.

More than 20,000 foreign mercenaries are reportedly fighting in the ranks of Kiev forces. Russia warned that foreign mercenaries will not be treated as prisoners of war. These mercenaries will likely be tried in the Donetsk People’s Republic, the Luhansk People’s Republic or even in Russia for war crimes.

From independent journalist Eva Bartlett:

Yesterday afternoon, I went to the Sokol markets in the Kirovsky district west of Donestk where, just before noon, they were shelled repeatedly by Ukrainian forces. With journalist Fergie Chambers, I went in a taxi to the heavily-populated residential district where the busy markets are.

A household chemicals and building materials market sustained significant damage but no one was killed, according to Gennady Andreevichk, a local employee of the district's safety commission, who said the first shelling was a Grad missile, hitting at 11:40 am. He said that while there was only significant material damage in this market, the large vegetable and clothing market across the street had been likewise been shelled at that time, twice simultaneously.

According to the Donetsk People’s Republic Healthcare Ministry, “The strike at the Tekstilschik neighbourhood in the Kirovsky district killed four people on the spot. One patient died in ambulance during the transportation.” The area is completely a civilian area, no military installations, no military reason for Ukraine to bomb. It was purely to terrorize the civilians.

You can watch her video here as she walks through the markets (warning: may be disturbing).

First of all I think that is an utopian though experiment. Secondly Laura spent 40 years preparing for this contact and then slowly built up a network of fellow researchers, thinkers and open people who were willing to support this experiment. The point is that Cassiopaea is not like something one listens to like a turning to Radio FM 94.3. It requires preparation, study and active participation and sharing. And again, deification of the C's is not what is required.
No one here is encouraging deification of the C's, or at least, I wasn't. What I wrote was something of a reducto ad absurdum to f1esk's comment:

"Oh, can you imagine what would happen if Putin retaliated based solely on a C's comment" (obviously not going to happen)
"Oh, can you imagine what would have happened if the Russian government had started listening to the C's 10 years ago" (obviously also wasn't going to happen)

Clearly, the nuance disappeared somewhere in this conversation. Oh well, back on topic.

On the other hand, any useful information from any source can be taken into account, but decision making should be based on an objective assessment of the situation, simply because social supersystems should not be controlled through channeling.
Exactly.

PREPARATION OF MILITARY OPERATION BY NATO COUNTRIES AND UKRAINE AGAINST TRANSNISTRIA

Should be phrased: "PREPARATION OF MILITARY OPERATION BY NATO with the use of other COUNTRIES AGAINST TRANSNISTRIA" to be closer to the truth.

I'm afraid Transnistria is just the beginning. Perhaps we should remember the article John Bolton sent to 19fortyfive.com last November:

Moscow is probing the entire “grey zone” between NATO’s eastern border and Russia’s western border: not just Ukraine and Belarus, but also Moldova and the Caucasus republics. Moldova’s “frozen conflict” with the Russian-created Trans-Dniester Republic; Russia’s ongoing occupation of two Georgian provinces; and Moscow’s recent pro-Azeri intervention in its conflict with Armenia, all demonstrate the Kremlin’s hegemonic or outrightly annexationist policies entangling the six grey-zone states. [blah blah]

Once decided, NATO should begin unraveling the “frozen conflicts” and other entanglements Russia has imposed on prospective new NATO members. One case that should be a priority is eliminating the Trans-Dniester Republic, an artificial entity entirely dependent politically on Russia. Pressuring Moscow for the full reunification of Moldova would divert Putin’s attention from Ukraine. Another distraction would be increasing international attention to Georgia’s seized provinces, Abkhazia and South Ossetia. The West’s failure to stand up to Russia’s 2008 attack on Georgia led directly to Russia’s later seizure of Crimea and the Donbass. Returning the favor to Moscow would alleviate stress on Ukraine, and also highlight the pattern of Russian behavior NATO needs to reverse.

Yes, he was the most furious Washington "hawk" for a while and his position/ influence now is probably about none, but I have little doubt that something like that is in the cooking and there was a reason for his "sending a signal". Out of those likely targets, Transnistria seems to be in the worst situation because it has no border with Russia and is surrounded by two rather hostile states: Moldova and mad and desperate Ukraine. But it would probably be good to keep an eye on the other countries too, for possible provocations, false-flag attacks, growing oppositions etc., and on the other hand, on Moscow's relations with them that should be tightening if Russia is to avoid a stab in the back. OSIT.

An increasingly realistic view of the potheads' abilities from their owners makes them take steps

The US headquarters for the Armed Forces has been created in Lviv: Yankees remove "aborigines" from command
Americans fear that Ukrainian soldiers will "disgrace" NATO weapons and will not stop the Russian army

Alexander Sitnikov

Zhovto-blakit telegram channels report that the headquarters of specialists from the United States, who work together with the military of the General Staff of Ukraine, is equipped in Lviv. Allegedly, the Yankees are helping the AFU generals with quick information from reconnaissance planes and UAVs that are circling around Ukraine, as well as from satellites hanging over the "Nezalezhnaya".

It is also reported that as many as 50 Americans, including counterintelligence agents, work in the Lviv secret headquarters, located in one of the communication buildings. In general, there are currently up to one thousand military specialists from the United States in Ukraine, which indicates the involvement of two nuclear powers in the conflict at once.

Clearly, neither we nor the Yankees want an atomic apocalypse. But Washington does not so zealously support the Ukrainian regime in order to surrender the "independent" without powerful bloodletting. In short, it looks very much like the Pentagon has taken over the management of defense operations in Ukraine against the backdrop of an ambiguous state of affairs on the fronts.

Apparently, the Kremlin knows about it. In his speech on April 27 , Putin said the following: "I will emphasize once again: if someone intends to interfere in the ongoing events (in Ukraine) from the outside, they should know — yes, they will create threats of a strategic nature unacceptable to Russia for us — they should know that our response to counter strikes will be lightning fast."

And the Russian president also said: "We have all the tools for this. Such as no one can boast of now. And we won't brag. We will use them if necessary. And I want everyone to know about it — all decisions have been made in this regard."

By the way, insiders who are in the office of President Zelensky reported that Mi-6 agents passed intelligence to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine that Russia was preparing strikes on decision-making centers and recommended not to use the command posts of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, the coordinates of which are known to Russian special services. However, there is a big problem here too.

The situation with the Russian "spies" greatly strains the SBU and the CIA. Zhovto-blakitnaya and star-striped counterintelligence are desperately looking for "moles" who are leaking the most important data on the supply of weapons, temporary warehouses and secret command posts of the Ukrainian army. There are reports from Kiev that strict checks of all foreign mercenaries have begun, since arrivals often correlate with the arrivals of new "soldiers of fortune".

In general, espionage in the Armed Forces of Ukraine has reached manic proportions, including because, compared with the first stage of the special operation, much has changed for the worse for Kiev. Minimizing the losses of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation and maximizing the damage to the Armed Forces allows tactics, which the American Institute for the Study of War described as "more methodical than fast."

Moscow, in fact, has nowhere to hurry, except for such an argument as the transfer of a large number of Western weapons and equipment. But so far, NATO's military assistance does not greatly affect the balance of power, although its influence cannot be written off either.

According to experts of the British edition of The Guardian, "If it turns out in May that the AFU will not be able to launch a counteroffensive, despite the wave of Western weapons supplies, including American howitzers, German and British anti-aircraft systems, the question will arise about what other commitments the UK and other NATO members are ready to take on."

You could say so: the Yankees created their headquarters in Lviv, fearing that the alliance's weapons would be disgraced by the inept actions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. It should be understood that on the Ukrainian battlefield, among other things, the engineering schools of the Western and Russian defense industries are competing, that is, there are battles for future contracts.

The Guardian emphasizes — "The turning point will happen in May." If the arms supplies are destroyed without any visible result on the fronts and damage to the Russian army, then there will be no point in further pumping the APU with new weapons. For a reason, Bloomberg, citing its military experts, reported that US weapons stocks may run out in a few months if the White House continues to supply them to Ukraine.

Nevertheless, the presence of American specialists in the capital of Galicia, that is, in the very center of Bandera Ukraine, and in the status of staff officers, cannot but alarm the Kremlin. Nothing is more valuable in battles than information about the enemy. There is no doubt that the Yankees, having the best technical means of intelligence, will use any mistake of the Russian Defense Ministry to their advantage. So, those experts who call for hitting the Ukrainian decision-making centers are right.

Some of the Ukrainian truth-tellers associate the arrival of American specialists in Lviv not only with the deterioration of the situation of the AFU on the battlefield, but also with the struggle for the souls of the hromadians, especially that part of the "independent", which came under the control of Russian troops. In the social networks of Ukraine, for example, they write: "The zone of action of the Ukrainian hryvnia narrows and narrows like a shagreen skin. Even from the war zone, as practice has shown, the hryvnia is washed out very quickly, which is dangerous for the future of our country."

The common people in the "nenka" turned out to be not as "patriotic" as it seemed to the beneficiaries of the Maidan until recently. Zhovto-blakit bloggers note that the hromadians feel "zrad" from the Western allies, who, albeit implicitly, but still bet on the loss of the APU. In short, there are signals from the European Union that only the States and partly the UK are the beneficiaries, while the Old World bears the entire burden of refugees. Okay, if there was an exhaust…

Even the fact that only the United States, and not the entire NATO, opened a secret headquarters in Lviv speaks volumes. Brussels rightly fears a tsunami of refugees that may arise after the defeat of the Ukrainian Armed Forces. It seems that the local top officials on migration policy are aware of the real state of affairs on the fronts.

It seems that the West is closing any opportunities for Ukrainians to catch on in Europe. The hromadians write about this bitterly in their chats. They increase the rent for renting housing even in the Polish countryside — from $ 300 to $700 for a one-bedroom apartment. They are not employed anywhere, and it is significant.

For example, the European bureaucrats closed the work of drivers and taxi drivers for Ukrainians, which was a real shock. Ukrainian driver's licenses are not recognized in the EU countries, but in the case of renting a car for leisure and travel — easily. It would seem that what is the difference: as in the first case, so in the second, a person manages transport. But it was not there.

"We are being squeezed out of here," the refugees write. "They don't need us anymore, because we don't want to be cannon fodder."

And here is another example. The speech of the chairman of the Conservative People's Party of Estonia, Martin Helme, about Ukrainian refugees, which he said in parliament, became an ice shower for Banderstat. The key politician of this Baltic country believes that Tallinn should continue to support Kiev, but the reception of refugees from Ukraine should be stopped. Since there is information that their number may increase significantly. Veiled, this means that the EU does not believe in the victory of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. But then why should Brussels support the "not Russia" project if it did not take place?

A Ukrainian user with the nickname Nikola # 1991 cuts the truth in this regard: "When the United States opened its headquarters in Lviv, it became clear that the Yankees were removing the "Aborigines" from command. They only need us to fight with the Russians, with whom the Americans themselves do not want to fight."

As I checked Sheikh Imran Hosein's YT channel to see if he has given any new talks about the Ukraine situation, I saw an older talk of his that was 'pinned' on the top of the page. This was absolute gold, I love this guy! The speech is apparently given around the end of 2016 or beginning of 2017, since he talks about Obama as the US president. Imran describes how, what he calls the 'Zionist master plan' [this could maybe be debated; maybe it's not only the Zionists. On the other hand, maybe that's an umbrella term he uses for the pathocratic elite] has developed since 1907. He starts with describing how in 1907 Britain, France and Russia created a secret alliance to start the First World War, and in his words "the honey that they used to lure Russia was the promise that after the war they could have Constantinople".

As a funny coincidence, I'm just in the middle of reading the book Hidden History: The Secret Origins of the First World War by Gerry Docherty and Jim MacGregor, and in it they describe in detail this secret alliance. According to the authors, the plans of the secret elite in London for starting a war against Germany had started already at the end of the 19th century. In any case, it's nice to see that Imran is aware of this fact (as so many other things!). I don't know about the Constantinople thing, though. At least, Docherty and MacGregor do not bring it up in their book. I've often wondered why Constantinople (Istanbul) has been considered to be of such enormous importance throughout history? Those of you with better knowledge in history can maybe enlighten me?

Anyways, Imran goes on to describe how "as Russia was at an armslength of seizing Constantinople, to prevent this, the Russian jews organized and executed the Bolshevik revolution". This, according to Imran, took Russia out of the war, and furthermore, he says, Communism was created to destroy Russia. The talk then continues in describing the developments (e.g. the role of Crimea) up until the point when this talk was given (2016/207), and the predictions he then makes for futher developments are amazingly accurate. He ends by saying: "We're now moving towards the Milhama [The Great War acc. to the Quran]"

Picture in articles says it all, tankers are making direct line across the Black Sea - oil is getting exported no problem. Western mouth pieces continue scratching their heads in disbelief 😅🤡🌏

Russian Black Sea Oil Exports Double, Are Sanctions Still Working?

MarineTraffic Photo shows a steady stream of oil tankers leaving the Russian Port of Novorossiysk on the Black Sea on April 26th 2022
By Julian Lee (Bloomberg) Asia is still snapping up cheap Russian oil that European buyers don’t want.
Seaborne exports of the nation’s crude rebounded in the seven days to April 22. One-fifth of the volume shipped from ports on the Black Sea, Baltic and Arctic coasts is on tankers showing no final destination, with most expected to end up in Asia.

A total of 40 tankers loaded about 28 million barrels from Russian export terminals, according to vessel-tracking data and port agent reports collated by Bloomberg. That put average seaborne crude flows at 4 million barrels a day, up by 25% against the week ended April 15. The weather played a big part.

The jump in oil exports means a boost to revenues for Moscow as President Vladimir Putin steps up his war in Ukraine, while the U.S. and EU discuss options to wean Europe off Russian oil. At current rates of crude oil export duty, the week’s shipments will have earned the Kremlin about $232 million; that’s $46 million more than the previous week.

Russia exports crude from four main areas: the Baltic Sea in northwest Europe, the Black Sea, the Arctic, and terminals on its Pacific Coast. From three of the four areas, flows to Asia or unknown destinations rose.

The weekly shipment figures can swing depending on the timing of when tankers depart, which is also heavily influenced by the weather at ports — as has been the case for the past several weeks.

The past week saw higher aggregate volumes from all four regions. Flows of Urals and Siberian Light crude from terminals in the Baltic and Black Sea rose by 663,000 barrels a day, or 36%. The volume of crude leaving the Black Sea port of Novorossiysk more than doubled as a backlog of ships that built up during the previous week’s bad weather started to clear.

I fear the Poles are starting to believe their own propaganda considering that there is a Polish militaire build-up near Western Ukraine. Whatever the US tells them there will be no NATO mandate for this incursion. Also, Russia will beat them to a pulp, even hitting targets inside Poland.

Lengthy interview in English with Lavrov, aired about 10 hours ago:

I want to highlight the following from the interview, which starts out with a telegram post that Lavrov saw and he describes/reiterates that post which provides very good food for thought. Lavrov followed that up by a joke which made me laugh out loud and perfectly describes and summarizes the situation. I have marked the starting of that section here:

By the way, one of the countries mentioned in the joke is Estonia (the NATO country bordering Russia. Quite closely to Moscow and Saint Petersburg). A country that erects monuments glorifying NAZIS and NAZISM and holds annual gatherings to honor the SS. So it might not be a coincidence that Estonia is a key part of Lavrovs joke.

I can’t copy paste it at the moment. As speculated earlier, I think Putin makes it clear with that statement that they will use the new hypersonic weapons not only in Ukraine but also if NATO is really so foolish to put weapon systems up in places like finland. And they have every right to do so.

I think we can prepare for such a szenario should the west really be that reckless. They’ll probably hit those weapons Systems and the west will puff and bluff afterwards but won’t take on Russia directly in a WW3 scenario. They can’t do anything about it.

Thinking it through a bit more, while also looking at a map and thinking about Putin's way of handling things, I still think the Russians might consider such a move, BUT only as the very last resort and ONLY if neighboring NATO states make concrete moves of thinking about installing threatening weapon systems (such as nuclear types). The red line for Russia might even be farther away than that, in some of those countries: if those countries are actually (in a fact on the ground manner) installing/placing such systems/weapons on their territory.

If you look at the map, Estonia and Latvia (both NATO states) are quite close to Saint Petersburg while Estonia is as close to Saint Petersburg (or more so) as Finland would be. Also, Ukraine, Latvia and Estonia are similarly close to Moscow. Yet, the Russians have not felt the need to defend themselves in regard to Estonia and Latvia (yet). So, I think the logical (and publically announced) red line for the Russians is an actual concrete thinking about installing (or worse, actual installment) of such threatening weapons. Which is what happened in Ukraine.

So, I don't think Putin and co. will do anything in Finland if they join NATO, unless the above-mentioned red line is crossed.
