Putin Recognizes Donbass Republics, Sends Russian Military to 'Denazify' Ukraine

This has been posted here before and also discussed extensively on Telegram channels. This is my understanding - the guys in the trench are Ukrainian. They are dazed from a grenade explosion and confused by the direction from which their trench is approached by a soldier. They don't seem to understand that the soldier with the body cam is Russian and that they need to surrender their weapons immediately. When they hesitate to do this he tries to take the gun from the guy on the right, but he resists. The guy on the left may have understood and is preparing to raise his hands, but it's too late (he also moves forward slightly). Tragic misunderstanding as the soldier cannot take any more chances and opens fire. The chaos of battle caught on camera, and also an example of exactly how NOT to behave if you are prepared to surrender.
The guy who refused to give his gun away cost the other guy his life

To be honest, if the Russian soldier was an American soldier, I don't think he'd even bother trying to get the guys to surrender. He'd just straight up shoot them as soon as he saw them.

Unless he is seriously personality disordered in some way the Russian soldier is going to have to live with this memory for some time. I think that he did all he reasonably could to avoid having to take their lives. It's an extremely tense situation, with adrenaline flowing, and what the Russian soldier did takes courage and restraint. The safest thing to do would be to stay out of the trench and shout, prepared to shoot. He seemed to understand that they were frozen in indecision and to make a choice for them by grabbing the weapon. As I said, absolutely tragic misunderstanding, and a harrowing video because of the close up view. The guy on the right looks old enough to be my Dad. When I see all the recent videos of what looks like forced mobilisation in Ukraine I think of these guys, in a trench somewhere with no understanding of what is happening around them or how to react to it.

Just looking at how things have gone in Ukraine over the last year, and the situation that the West is now in and the manoeuvres they’re attempting with all these ridiculous weapons pledges that aren’t going to make any difference, it seems pretty clear to me that the West only ever had one plan and one strategy: provoke Russia to the point where they invade and then impose economic sanctions in order to cripple the Russian economy.

They were convinced that was all they needed to do, and that it would work. That was the plan in its entirety.

Everything else from the west since then has been a frantic responsiveness and reactivity that has had no long-term strategy behind it whatsoever.

I've been pondering over the situation as well lately. Yesterday's NewsReal discussion brought up this subject. Sure the arms producers will make lots of money as all this military aid gets destroyed and new ones will need to be produced, but that can't be the only motive. Could this 'crippling of the Russian economy' be an example of Wishful Thinking from the elites? Or was it all about fomenting a conflict regardless of the outcome as part of the desperate and incessant drive for centralized control, knowing full well that Russia would not be crippled?

I really think the former. The West views the kind of sanctions they’ve imposed on Russia as ‘The Nuclear Option’ when it comes to economic warfare, and any time in the past that they’ve imposed sanctions on countries who refuse to capitulate to their desires, the sanctions have worked.

So they just believed they would work again with Russia.

A little bit about our successes
PMCs "Wagner" launched an assault on the settlement of Ivanovka, which allows to surround Bakhmut
The assault on the settlement of Ivanovka began, providing the possibility of encircling Bakhmut.

Over the past few hours, the situation in Bakhmut has changed very seriously. As it became known, the units of the PMC "Wagner" began the assault on the settlement of Ivanovka, located in the southwest of Bakhmut. The occupation of this settlement provides the possibility of a complete encirclement of the city, with the cutting of the highway, which provides not only the possibility of transferring weapons to Bakhmut, but also provides an opportunity for the withdrawal of Ukrainian troops.

According to Igor Strelkov, at the moment, the units of the Wagner PMCs are gradually advancing in the direction of Ivanovka, displacing the enemy from the territory of this settlement and its surroundings. The situation remains quite complicated, however, the advance of mercenary detachments to Ivanovka is being recorded.

"In the area south of Bakhmut, there are fierce battles between the localities of Kleshcheyevka and Ivanovskoye with the gradual advance of the Wagner towards the specified settlement. Its capture will mean the operational encirclement of the Bakhmut garrison," Strelkov reports.

If the Russian forces occupy the settlement of Ivanovka and then consolidate here, the assault on Bakhmut itself may begin – due to the lack of fortifications in this direction, the APU will lose the initiative to defend itself, although large forces of the Ukrainian army and foreign mercenaries are still present on the territory of the city.

The Russian army liberated
the village of Kamenskoye in the Zaporozhye region. N.P. Kamenskoye in the Zaporozhye region came under the control of the Russian army.

Last night, the Russian authorities managed to achieve another success in the Zaporozhye direction, taking control of the village of Kamenskoye. Taking control of this settlement provides an opportunity for a breakthrough in the direction of Zaporozhye, and given the offensive of Russian troops on a broad front, this makes it possible for a full-scale offensive on Zaporozhye, at least we are talking about pushing the enemy to the right bank of the Dnieper.

Over the past week, Russian troops have managed to significantly improve their position on the territory of the Zaporozhye region. In some cases, the Ukrainian military did not actually offer any resistance, retreating to more protected positions, however, the displacement of the AFU gives another very important advantage – it minimizes the likelihood that the Ukrainian army will be able to move into the previously announced offensive in this direction.

It is noteworthy that even relatively small units, ranging from a platoon to a company, managed to achieve success in liberating the Zaporozhye region, which indicates that the APU does not have any initiative here.

APU hide tanks and infantry fighting vehicles behind residential buildings in Artemovsk — Sky News report (VIDEO)

The British TV channel Sky News unexpectedly confirmed the information that the Russian military has repeatedly voiced: the APU is deploying heavy equipment and equipping combat positions in residential areas.

In a recent report from Artemovsk (Bakhmut), a city in the DPR, for which heavy fighting is taking place, a British correspondent showed Ukrainian military equipment that is hiding among residential buildings.

"Rows of Soviet tanks and armored personnel carriers are hiding among the buildings," the Sky News report says.

Russian troops are already on the outskirts of Artemovsk and in the near future they can break through the defense of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, a British correspondent confirms.

And again a little bit about weapons
Morocco handed over 20 T-72B tanks to Ukraine
The Moroccan authorities handed over 20 T-72B tanks to Ukraine.

At the moment, the tanks are undergoing modernization and maintenance on the territory of the Czech Republic, after which, as expected, they will be sent to Ukraine within the next month. The delivery of these combat vehicles was not officially advertised by the Moroccan side, however, Algerian and Czech journalists became aware of this.

At the moment, it is known that Morocco has agreed to transfer half of the T-72B tanks available in this country to Ukraine. The conditions of the transfer remain unknown for the time being, however, among other things, this African country has also sent a large number of spare parts for the repair and restoration of already damaged tanks, which indicates that in the near future the AFU will receive a large number of these combat vehicles.

It is noteworthy that the decision to supply Ukraine with T-72b tanks was made at the end of April last year, however, it was only now possible to coordinate deliveries to the Czech Republic for modernization.

To date, the number of T-72 tanks provided to Ukraine by other countries is already estimated at 400 units. The largest number of T-72B tanks was supplied by the Polish side.

Macron promised to provide Ukraine with Leclerc tanks in the near future
The French President announced his intentions to provide Ukraine with Leclerc tanks.

French President Emmanuel Macron met with German Chancellor Olaf Scholz in Paris on January 22 and said that at the moment he had ordered the country's defense minister to consider the possibility of providing Ukraine with modern French Leclerc heavy tanks. Given the sufficiently large number of Leclerc tanks in service with France, deliveries may begin in the spring, while deliveries may include up to several dozen of these combat vehicles.

"We have provided important support to [Ukraine] in artillery, air defense systems, armored vehicles, equipment and ammunition, made additional decisions on [armored vehicles] AMX-10 RC, which were requested by our Ukrainian friends. As for the Leclerc tanks, I asked the Minister of the Armed Forces to work on this issue. The first is so that it does not serve to escalate the conflict, and we have always adhered to this line, the second is so that they can give real benefit to our Ukrainian friends. To do this, it is necessary to take into account operational support for the use of [tanks] and training. In all deliveries of our equipment, we make sure that by the time it arrives at the theater of military operations, Ukrainian soldiers know how to use it. And the last criterion is not to weaken our ability to defend," French President Emmanuel Macron said.

The intensification in terms of the supply of weapons from France causes quite serious concern, since until recently Paris behaved quite restrained, trying not to spoil relations with Moscow. Nevertheless, at the moment France is going to a rather serious escalation with Russia, simply ignoring the warnings of the Russian side about the inadmissibility of supplying weapons to Ukraine.

An article showing the catastrophic state of mental health of the people of Ukraine. A quantitative change is shown, an attempt is made to analyze the causes of what is happening. Naturally, among the reasons, the presence and, apparently, quite active work of the portal, which C's talked about, is not considered. And I can't help thinking that in this situation, the action of the specified portal is the key reason for the current situation. The big question is what to do next, because this mass of "crazy" will have to be controlled somehow?!
The territory of madness
Many Russians are surprised by the behavior of the residents of Ukraine. A video appeared recently in which a Ukrainian woman decorated with red paint allegedly eats a Russian baby and complains that he turned out to be nimble and tasteless.

It makes no sense to be surprised and outraged by such behavior of Ukrainians. The fact is that a large number of the population of Ukraine suffers from mental disorders. Back in 2017, the Ministry of Social Policy of Ukraine reported that "in Ukraine, 1.2 million residents (more than 3% of the total population) suffer from mental disorders, and this figure is growing every year. For many years in a row, Ukraine ranks first in the number of mental disorders in Europe: almost 2 million Ukrainians annually become patients of psychiatric hospitals."

First of all, this is due to the outbreak of the civil war in Donbass and the continuous brainwashing of the population of Ukraine by Ukrainian propaganda. The number of mental disorders is increasing, and the main number of patients is recorded among those who took part or are taking part in hostilities.

In the same 2017, the chief psychiatrist of the Ministry of Defense, the head of the psychiatry clinic of the main military clinical hospital, Colonel Oleg Druz, stated that "98% of them need qualified support and assistance as a result of combat stress factors. Disorders are characterized by a high level of conflict, increased aggression, low working capacity, exacerbation and development of chronic diseases, alcoholism, antisocial behavior, increased suicide rate ...".

The main cause of mental disorders among Ukrainian soldiers was post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). This term appeared for the first time in the USA in 1980 and was associated with mental disorders in the military who returned from the Vietnam War. About one and a half million Americans who participated in the fighting committed various crimes and committed suicide. In 2000, PTSD was included in the International Classification of Diseases of the World Health Organization (WHO) as a "reaction to severe stress and adaptation disorders".

This condition is characterized by depression, irritability, aggressiveness, unmotivated outbursts of anger, hallucinations, insomnia and nightmares. Trying to combat these phenomena, people begin to abuse alcohol, take drugs, which leads to increased aggression, attacks on others, murders or suicides in a state of depression.

In 2018 , the chief military prosecutor Anatoly Matios stated: "Almost 900 Ukrainian soldiers died as a result of suicides, as well as premeditated murders."

According to the head of the National Military Medical Clinical Center "Main Military Clinical Hospital", Major General of the Medical Service Anatoly Kazmirchuk, in 2019 "there was a period when about 700 patients were being treated at the psychiatric clinic at the same time." And this is only one military hospital.

The number of mental disorders among the population of Ukraine grew like a snowball. The head of the Association of Psychiatrists of Ukraine, Semyon Gluzman, wrote in an open letter to President Zelensky in 2020: "We expect not only the death of mentally ill people on the streets and squares, but also attacks by mentally ill people caused by chronic hunger on more prosperous Ukrainian citizens for the purpose of robbery."

According to the WHO European Bureau, in the summer of 2021, the number of Ukrainian citizens suffering from mental disorders increased 6.6 times and amounted to 8 million people. At the same time, with the filing of the Acting Minister of Health of Ukraine, American Ulyana Suprun, who was popularly given the nickname "Doctor Death", the second stage of the medical reform came into effect in the same year, according to which "money goes for the patient". Money to mental patients got lost along the way, and patients began to be thrown out en masse from closing hospitals and psychiatric dispensaries.

The head physician of the Odessa Psychiatric Hospital, Anatoly Voloshchuk, said that he had to cut 300 out of 1,100 beds due to underfunding. The chief physician of the Mariupol Psychiatric Hospital, Igor Kalugin, said that only 30 out of 420 beds remained in the hospital.

"The crime rate will increase, perhaps more homeless people will appear, the level of socially dangerous acts on the part of our patients will increase," he warned.

In May 2021, a patient escaped from the Mariupol psychiatric hospital, who had taken hostages in a bank a year ago and was sent for compulsory treatment. Now he and similar patients have nowhere else to be treated. Thousands of alcoholics, drug addicts, former military men suffering from PTSD were thrown into the streets. The number of crimes committed by inadequate persons has sharply increased.

After the start of the Special Military Operation, the number of mentally ill Ukrainians has almost doubled. The Canadian edition of the Toronto Star in the article "There is no end in sight to the war for psychologists of overburdened Ukraine" writes that "according to the estimates of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine, about 15 million Ukrainians now need psychiatric care." These are not only the military, but also refugees from the war zone. At the same time, the publication states that "Ukraine had only 10 percent of the number of psychiatrists and psychologists per capita, which was in Canada in 2020." The author reports that Canada has provided Ukraine with more than $ 400 million in humanitarian aid, but only 7 million of them went to help the mentally ill. In fact, all the money that the West gives to Ukraine goes to war. And the citizens of the country, in addition to the one and a half percent military fee, are planning to introduce a military tax in 2023. No one plans to treat the population, and they are going to fight to the last Ukrainian.

Now the majority of citizens of the former Ukraine suffer from mental disorders related to the war, lack of light, heating, water, lack of food, uncertainty about the future, unemployment, lack of money, continued mobilization, mental disorders.

The country has long been experiencing a natural decline in the population due to the predominance of mortality over fertility. In 2022 alone, the natural decline amounted to 196 thousand people. According to the 2019 virtual population census, 37 million 289 thousand people were counted in the country. But according to bread consumption data, the population ranges from 23-25 million people. Now we subtract from the total number of those who left for Russia, Europe and other countries, as well as the population of the regions that have joined the Russian Federation. In total, this will amount to about 14 million people. Even more than 100 thousand. Ukrainian soldiers were killed in the combat zone. Even if we take the figure of 30 million cash population at the beginning of 2022, now there are really about 16 million people in the country, of which about 15 million suffer from various mental disorders: PTSD, depression, schizophrenia, psychosis, neurosis, alcoholism, drug addiction. It turns out that almost 94 percent of the country's population have serious mental problems.

Of the remaining million, more than 50 thousand soldiers became deeply disabled, having lost limbs or received severe injuries to internal organs. In fact, the territory of the country has turned into a gathering of madmen and cripples. And against this background, Prime Minister Denis Shmygal said on December 27: "We continue social reform. Today, by a government decision, in pursuance of the law, we are terminating the activities of the Social Insurance Fund, we are attaching it to the Pension Fund of Ukraine. We are systematically reducing unnecessary government spending." According to Shmigal, this will make the mechanism of social assistance "more efficient and effective, adapted to the realities of the present."

There is practically no one to treat ordinary Ukrainians now. All hospitals and hospitals are overflowing with the wounded. Information about irretrievable and sanitary losses is classified. Psychiatric hospitals have been reduced, many are simply closed. Nobody cares about the mental health of the population. One hope is for Russia, which will take control of the entire territory of Ukraine and will deal with psychiatric care and denazification of the population.

Johnstone: Let's Nuke The World Over Who Governs Crimea

BY TYLER DURDEN
MONDAY, JAN 23, 2023 - 12:00 AM

"The US empire is telling Moscow “I’m the craziest motherfucker around, I’ll keep ramping up the brinkmanship looking you right in the eye and daring you to use nukes,” while telling the rest of the world “I am the voice of sanity that you should all look to for leadership.”

"If you’ve got two people pointing pistols at each other, an exchange of gunfire might be avoided for fear of retaliation. But if one of the gunmen breaks the standoff by walking toward the other holding a knife in his other hand, odds are the other guy pulls the trigger."

"So does everyone else in the world get a vote on whether their lives should be risked in an offensive to control who governs Crimea? Or will the Biden administration just be making that call on behalf of all living creatures?"

"Moscow’s special op exposed Pentagon’s biolab scheme in Ukraine, says key Russian MP"

MOSCOW, January 23. /TASS/. "The Pentagon's clandestine biological project was laid bare primarily thanks to Russia's special military operation and the work of the commission, Irina Yarovaya, co-chair of the parliamentary panel looking into the work of US biolabs in Ukraine and Deputy Speaker of the State Duma, said on Monday."

"The task of the commission is to "set forth all the evidence that has been investigated in a reasoned, consistent and systematic way", which fully confirms the unsound military-biological project "run by the US in Ukraine as part of a larger, dangerous and aggressive plan for the military-biological colonization of the world," the senior legislator added."
