It is clear you are making genuine efforts to seek and share information that you feel is relevant to this thread. I greatly appreciate your efforts to do so and I know the language barrier makes things challenging, so I see the extra effort you go to, and acknowledge how much energy/effort that would take.
Genuinely, I do not believe that anybody is intending to hurt your feelings or reject you at all, rather they are trying to honestly and
constructively share with you that: 'there is a lot of information coming through this thread generally from many contributors, perhaps you could be extra selective about what you post - and maybe share a little about your own views?'
We learn a lot by seeing through the eyes of others. I feel that
Iamthatis is honouring you, by indicating that your own opinion and thoughts are valuable and he is interested to see things from your perspective / learn from you also, not just the opinion of the writer of the article.
Often when people offer their own perspective it can start some really interesting conversations / open new pathways as the conversation diversifies; sometimes we learn things about the world at large (or ourselves!) that we didn't even know, simply through considering the words and viewpoint of another.
I encourage you to read the quote below carefully, and see/feel the
warmth and encouragement in these words:
From what I see and feel, Iamthatis has gently invited you to share what you can from your own viewpoint (if you would like to). It doesn't matter that you are not an 'expert' regarding this thread or any other, or whether you are 'right' in terms of your viewpoint, this is not an IQ test!
Perlou, you write from your compassionate heart in the prayer thread so beautifully; and in response to others when they face great challenge in their lives - you offer genuine, loving comfort and reassurance - and have a wonderful way with words. I know you contribute a great deal of energy to the forum in many ways and through different threads. I also see that you are a sensitive soul and feel things deeply; as you feel 'hurt and rejected' by the feedback, maybe on a deeper level there is a 'gift' in this... an opportunity to explore why you feel so wounded by what has been said. From what I have observed about Iamthatis, he communicates with great intelligence, integrity, honestly, objectivity, but also genuine warmth and respect. I saw no disrespect in what he said to you at all. He is interested in hearing your unique observations if you feel like sharing occasionally, he is not asking for an academic analysis or 10,000 words. No pressure, no expectations, it is just an invitation to try sharing things in this thread a different way.
In terms of 'sensitivity' generally... I think we are all a bit exhausted, to be honest.
I have many days where I am
very drained, the energy on this planet is pretty heavy and it keeps building. I suspect more than most people those on the forum carry a greater 'weight' in some form on many levels because we know the reality of the situation humanity is facing, so perhaps it helps to bear that in mind and be extra kind to yourself.
