Fontanka and 47news.ru is more or less the same (of the same media group, the same deputy-/redactor-in chief) and not really reliable, especially when it comes to issues they have their own interest in. And they have an axe to grind when it comes to Prigozhin. Not to mention that "47" stole their material from state media, like Izvestia or Vzgliad for example, and put their stamps on those pictures, and then fontanka reproduced them (and vice versa). That's how you become the most cited regional media.

They lied about the Order of Military Merit. Doesn't take much to find it.

A fake passport is never a joke. This is a criminal offense under the laws of the Russian Federation. As well as billions of cash, gold bars (money laundering) are a crime (at the very least, an investigation), as is possession of weapons (there were semi-automatic ones too) and hundreds of rounds of ammunition.
Russia has very strict state control over the circulation of weapons, you cannot just go to the store and buy yourself a gun. You need to collect 100,500 certificates from the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the Russian Guard, from a narcologist and God knows who else - in order to simply buy yourself a hunting rifle (or shotgun).
But we see that this guy does not have a shotgun, but a whole arsenal like John Wick.
Any other citizen of the Russian Federation in the place of Prigozhin could be imprisoned for 1000 years (if you do not even take into account the armed rebellion) under a dozen articles of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation. But we saw that this guy was simply released into the wild, returning all the money, weapons and everything else.

The Ukrainian liars are making obvious progress. At the beginning of the SMO, even when there were battles near Kiev, there was such a character - "the ghost of Kiev". When I did a search on psychologist on the TG channels, I found claims that the west educates the soldiers from Ukraine, al to hate Russian. While the news has propaganda value, it is completely believable, as a psychologist with the help of communication analysts could go through Western media reporting and come to the conclusion, that people in the west are encouraged to harbour negative emotions and harbour a Russophobia.

Another group of Ukrainian servicemen surrendered in one of the directions. The servicemen were trained in France, the prisoners say that this knowledge was not useful in the trenches, and they were sent to study 'for show.'

NATO psychologists told the AFU servicemen about the weakness of the Russian Army and about the need to 'kill as many Russians as possible.'

Surrendered mobilised Ukrainian servicemen spoke about their training in Europe. They said that they did not receive any practical training. On the other hand, in Slovenia they actively worked with psychologists who called for hatred against Russians and openly implanted misanthropic ideas.

On the front line, the Ukrainian soldiers faced heavy losses and commanders' indifference to the unenviable fate of their subordinates. They surrendered in the first battle. They say they had no other choice, because if they had started to retreat, they would have been shot by their own units.

The Ukrainian servicemen note the professional actions of the Russian servicemen and say they were treated with dignity in captivity.

The AFU servicemen speak of the lack of supplies, food and water at the front line. They say that if they try to withdraw from their positions, the National Guard opens fire on their own.

The prisoners urge Ukrainians not to agree to mobilisation under any circumstances and to avoid taking part in hostilities.

All note the dignified attitude of Russian servicemen.

Specialists from Germany and NATO countries inculcated the Ukrainians with a misanthropic ideology, hatred towards the Russian people and called for violation of international humanitarian rules of warfare.

Otherwise, the training of the AFU military abroad was 'not up to par,' the captives said. This is confirmed by the fact that they surrendered in the first battle. Also, according to the captured fighters, the Ukrainian command does not go to the frontline, remaining in the rear.

Wagnerian resurrection?
Around the time of the clamp down, one TG channel posting stuff from Russian sources and about Wagnerr and Russian military action, went dead, like totally purged old stuff, but on July 3 it underwent a resurrection and is posting again, though some posts only remain up for a short time. The impression is that they have set up a tent camp in Belarus and are training, even with more heavy weapons.

Finnish mercenary go pro video, The soldier lost - in part to old Ukrainian farmyard fence where hens are not troubled. How the guy ended up being trapped is not clear. He was probably looking for a back door, so he could escape, however the fence may also have saved him from being discovered earlier.

I saw an image on TG with a text that mercenaries of a look different from Ukrainian have been seen in waling around in several Ukrainian cities. This French article from RTL claims there are about 100 French mercenaries in Ukraine at the moment.

Well, that's most likely true - theoretically. In practice, organized crime groups in Russia, even though reportedly on decline since the beginning of this century, are guilty of all of the above and more, and still at large. Prigozhin at least fought wars for the RF and made some money for her too. Like it or not, not all animals are equal, never have been and most likely never will.

What I would like to understand is what's the purpose for all that super-hype about his wealth and eccentricities across all media spectrum while at the same time: the criminal case against him has been dropped right away; he can move around freely but he shut down his media business; Russian Wagner/SOMB instructors successfully evacuated Chinese citizens from a mine near Dimby (CAR) and along with Wagner fighters will remain in the CAR contrary to some media claims; supposedly Wagner - as it is, meaning w/o signing a contract with Shoigu - may go back to SVO front soon; and so on... but, also supposedly, several Wagner commanders in Syria have been arrested by Syrian special service and Russian MoD.

To add more to the riddle, some commentators noticed (rightly or not) that since the mutiny, the chain of command seems to be much shorter and decisions on actions on the front are made and executed much quicker.

Turkey supports Ukraine’s NATO membership aspirations, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan told his Ukrainian counterpart Volodymyr Zelenskyy, but he also urged for a “return to peace efforts” to end the conflict that has now raged for 500 days since Russia invaded Ukraine last year.

“There is no doubt that Ukraine deserves membership of NATO,” Erdogan told a joint press conference with the Ukrainian president in Istanbul early on Saturday, adding that the two sides should go back to peace talks.

“A fair peace creates no losers,” the Turkish leader said, according to the Reuters news agency.

Zelenskyy thanked Erdogan for his support, which comes ahead of a key NATO summit that is set to start on Tuesday in Vilnius, Lithuania.

“I am grateful for the support of Ukraine’s territorial integrity and sovereignty. Peace formula. Protection of our countries, our people and our interests,” the Ukrainian leader wrote in a tweet regarding his talks with Erdogan.

The Ukrainian leader has lobbied intensively for his embattled country to be invited to join the Western military alliance, arguing that Ukraine has become Europe’s last line of defence against Russia’s aggression.

This week, Zelenskyy visited the Czech Republic, Slovakia and Bulgaria to drum up support for Ukraine’s NATO membership bid ahead of the military alliance’s July 11-12 summit.

In Prague, he won a pledge of support for Ukraine to join NATO “as soon as the war is over”, and in Sofia, he secured backing for membership “as soon as conditions allow”.

NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg also reaffirmed his view that Ukraine would become a member.

However, the timeline for Ukraine’s membership remains unclear.

On Friday, the United States dampened Ukraine’s hopes of any rapid accession to the alliance, saying this week’s summit would not result in a NATO membership invitation.

US National Security Adviser Jake Sullivan said the Vilnius summit “will be an important moment on that pathway towards membership”, but that Ukraine has “further steps it needs to take before membership in NATO”.

NATO countries have debated when and how Ukraine can become a member and under what circumstances. Member countries such as Germany insist that certain conditions must be met, including the military being under civilian and democratic control.

Kremlin watching closely
Zelenskyy’s talks in Turkey were being watched closely by the Kremlin, which has tried to break its international isolation by cultivating strong relations with the Turkish leader Erdogan.

Erdogan has tried to portray himself as a neutral mediator between Kyiv and Moscow, substantially boosting wartime trade with Russia while also supplying Ukraine with drones and other weapons that helped keep Kremlin forces from seizing Kyiv in the first weeks of the war.

This is certainly true, but I would like to draw attention to something else. The problem of agreements with the West. Turkey, of course, does not the West by itself, but as a member of NATO it is certainly the West. There is a fairly well-known story about how at one time American colonists bought Manhattan Island from the Indians for a certain number of glass beads. I do not know if this is true or not, but this story very truthfully shows the approach to agreements. During the recent visit of the President of Ukraine to Turkey, a memorandum of understanding was signed in the field of strategic industries. This document, signed by the Ukrainian and Turkish sides, provides for the development of cooperation in the field of technology and strategic production, including support for current and the launch of new projects. Nevertheless, under a very vague name, supplies of Turkish weapons to Ukraine may be hidden.

One of the key areas stipulated in the agreement is the development of the production of autonomous vehicles, in particular, unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs). Within the framework of this cooperation, it is planned to expand the production of various types of UAVs, conduct research and development in the field of autonomous systems, as well as in the space industry and other technologically significant areas of strategic production of both countries.

At the end of April this year, it was noted that two defense industrial enterprises of Ukraine have already signed three new agreements with the Turkish company Baykar. At the same time, it is emphasized that we are talking about cooperation in the field of new-generation weapons.

In the past 2021, Ukraine and Turkey have already signed a memorandum of cooperation in the field of creating a joint training and testing center for the operation of UAVs from Baykar. This center will be engaged in maintenance, repair and modernization of equipment, as well as training personnel to work with UAVs from BAYKAR.

The year 2025 is defined as the target date for the opening of the plant, which will produce UAV models Bayraktar TB2 and AKINCI. In addition to the construction of a manufacturing enterprise, the organization of a training and testing center is also envisaged. Within the framework of these projects, it is planned to transfer technologies and localize production in Ukraine.

Next year, 2024, together with Denmark, the Netherlands plans to transfer 14 German Leopard 2 tanks to Ukraine.

In turn, Russia sent a note to NATO countries in connection with the supply of weapons to Ukraine. Sergey Lavrov, the Russian Foreign Minister, stressed that any cargo containing weapons for Ukraine becomes a legitimate target for Russia. The Russian Foreign Ministry said that NATO countries were "playing with fire" by supplying weapons to Ukraine. The press secretary of the President of the Russian Federation Dmitry Peskov also noted that the active supply of weapons to Ukraine from the West could negatively affect the success of Russian-Ukrainian negotiations.

Существует довольно известная байка о том, как в свое время американские колонисты купили остров Манхэттен у индейцев за некоторое количество стеклянных бус. Я не знаю правда это или нет, но эта история очень правдиво показывает подход к договоренностям. С тех самых пор и по настоящее время ничего в этом смысле не изменилось, всегда тотальная ложь, но обязательно старательно прикрытая, как правило, надуманными "бантиками" и ничего кроме этого. Не уверен надо ли приводить примеры, ведь если внимательно посмотреть под этим углом, то все это видно, как говорится, "не вооруженным глазом". Именно поэтому до недавнего времени, практически до самого начала СВО, мне лично все время сильно резало слух неизменное обращение наших властей в сторону запада- "наши западные партнеры". Какие партнеры?! Шулеры! Мошенники!
В настоящее время актуальна т.н. зерновая сделка. Полностью фальшивая для России "договоренность", которая длится уже год и сейчас все выгодоприобретатели от этой "сделки" предпринимают усилия для продления этого обмана. Даже ООН подключилось к этим усилиям.
На днях были известия из Чехии и Словакии о поставках Украине вооружения, ну и конечно Польша, в ее стремлении быть лидером в антироссийских действиях, не могла не среагировать.
Надо думать, что вопросы с поставками самолетов, дальнобойных ракет, систем ПВО и пр. уже решен. Если кто то вдруг подумал, что на этом всё закончилось, то он сильно ошибся.
