ThanksThis is a highly controversial statement. The only truth here is that Medvedev is a Putin supporter and that's it. Otherwise, we can say that Medvedev is just such a Medvedev as long as Putin needs him for some reason. He's nothing by himself. An interesting question about "trust". Who trusts whom? Does Putin trust Medvedev? Yes, this is possible to a certain extent, otherwise he would not have been put in the presidential chair to warm it up during the forced absence of the real "owner". Do the Russian people trust Medvedev? No, and no again. I am writing this as a Russian and a Russian citizen living in Russia.
Your perspective as a citizen shows that Medvedev is a controversial character, in Russia too - and this clarifies things. It's true that Medvedev's statements don't match the other people at all (S. Lavrov, M. Zakharova, V. Putin). I suppose that I just need to pray that Medvedev's world view stops at the boundary of his brain^^ and that it's not present at all in the main government.
Well - I trust Putin and his team, so as to be aligned with what they show, what they say. Only time will tell, but I would say that some time has passed already, so it's kind of okay. But it was kind of a shock to read Medvedev's statements, and not seeing him being fired (for example). His statements could have been a tensed "Dr Strangelove" situation. I can understand this. At best, you guys have a strong guy who won't "flinch". Side of the coin is a huge basic way of thought. Whatever! Good luck and hello to Russians
