I was thinking about how the c's say certain souls prefer to be with certain sexes.
We also know that gay people's brains are configured differently than straight people.
Is this "luck of the draw", or does the soul change the dna of the physical body it merges with in order to "be who they will become?
For that matter, is it predetermined what sex you will be, or do we change this during merger as well?

"gay people's brains are configured differently than straight people" Really? I hadn't heard that. Well, if so, do we know what came first: the influence of the soul or the soul's previous learning on the brain matter of the current body, or the brain configuration's influence on the soul?

It seems reasonable to me that since the physical matter of the body is very pliable from conception on through early infancy, the lesson/desire profile of a soul would influence development in such a way as to provide some initial conditions to 'get the ball rolling' for the current body incarnation. But this is speculation.

We live in a Universe of feedback loops, so it's very hard to answer some questions without looking at the subject from many points of view, OSIT. So, for the moment, you can call me clueless. :)

imho every person needs to start with what they can understand and work on their machine;
all else is idle speculation. To DO the work you don't need to know anything about reincarnation.
Where is the reference and the facts to your statement about the brains of homosexuals?
If there is valid research we need to know.
You can study the working of karma by experimenting and observing yourself.

Yes, i do get the spirit. Ty.I just kinda figured that no matter what the question, perhaps it will help someone else out when they come across it, but i didn't even think about there being enough on this in the first place.

Thanks for the insight though. I am starting from the bottom, as all i have done is research, rather than network for info.
I do feel that i am learning, slowly but surely.

Thank you truth seeker for your observation. It is definetly something to watch out for.
At the moment I can not find a specific source for this attitude.
It could be the dreaded X-mas season. Some of us have very ambivalent feelings about
this time of year. Also I am not a very patient person and there might be some very defuse
low level frustration. I will work to find more specific sources or triggers.

Interesting to dredge this thread back up at this strange time. (And I think it’s great to do this rather than starting new threads because it maintains a continuity to see how the conversations evolve and helps us remember work already done)

Anyway, if we are approaching yet another reset which involves mass death and reanimating yet another hybridization of soul containers, what does that tell us? If it has happened in the perceived past, what can we say we learned from it? Anything? I think the point is soul development and not the mechanics of the process.

So what can be taken from this life we presently occupy into the next life? Perhaps only our souls which don’t need to recall the actual details of this life, but a general sense of the lessons learned.

The people who do recall the details are amazing to me. I don’t need proof and reproof that reincarnation is indeed a thing and that’s where a lot of investigations end. Is it real? The greater questions come from accepting that it is real and then asking what are the implications regarding our own lives?

To say that this is my one life can be an attempt to sidestep deeper and very puzzling questions that reincarnation points to. Here I am again, and what the hell good did being here before do me, if I can’t really remember it? That’s one of the simple and karmic understandings, if you ask me. One of those zen koans worth pondering.

It seems that we can start remembering 'past lives' more and more when we are ready for it. The bigger part of us, the Higher Self, remembers everything and gives us guidance through intuition, soul urges, etc. And we also seem to carry over talents and our 'development' from prior lifetimes.

While I am not a big fan of the veil of forgetting we go through when we are born, it seems to be there so that we do not get overwhelmed with past life memories. Maybe that makes it easier in a sense, while you still can get back the memories when you become strong and connected enough to face them.

An interesting question is if we have the full memory of all past lives while in 5D, or only remember the most recent life - if "recent" makes sense in a place beyond time as we know it.

May be, especially if there’s unexplainable blocks and trauma that you were seemingly born with. That’s why past life regression therapy is a thing, so people can understand some things about other lives that they’ve carried into this life and heal those wounds that are stuck in their energetic bodies.

Question about past-lives. The C’s have said “there is no time” and said that 5th density is zero time and that a moment is infinity and vice versa. They’ve also mentioned that we don’t perceive time correctly. Taking all that into account, would it not make sense that our next (or previous) life isn’t linear as we perceive it?

For instance, if I were to die today, my next life could be in the 1800’s. Not in future from now.

My last life could’ve been 60 years from now.

Your thoughts?

There or other realities/physical realities with different “rule sets” other than earth thus your next life could be on a different planet. You are conciousness/soul/spirit living in one of the STS physical realities…I say this to maybe broaden your question
