But, like you said, the drum sounds pleasant if you are away from the source - not saying that the drum sounds pleasant at all, but your point remains. It reminds me of the saying 'when elephants dance, the chickens must be careful'. None of us are much more than chickens at this stage in the game, so the best we can do, it seems, is to analyze events and the forces prodding them along, and try not to fall into confluence with it all while we strive to evolve on a personal and collective level (what really matters).
