Westampton, NJ 08060
Dear Mr. Key:
This is to advise you that the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has reviewed your web site at the Internet address http://www.purecolloids.com This review found violations of the Federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act (the Act) in the promotion of your products Mesosilver™, Mesogold™ , and Mesocopper™. You can find the Act and FDA regulations through links on FDA's Internet home page at: http://www.fda.gov.
Mesosilve™, Mesogold™ and Mesocopper™ are promoted on your website for conditions that cause the products to be drugs under section 201(g)(1) of the Act [21 USC 321 (g)(1)]. The therapeutic claims on your web site establish that the products are drugs because they are intended for use in the cure, mitigation, treatment, or prevention of disease. The marketing of these products with these claims violates the Act. We further note that our investigator provided you with a copy of this section of the Act and discussed the differences between dietary supplements and drugs with you during our inspection of March 29, 30 and April 5, 2004.
Examples of some of the claims observed on your web site include:
Mesosilver™
"[Slilver promotes the production of new cells, thus increasing the rate of wound healing."
"[R]ecognized as one of the most potent antidotes for food poisoning"
"[C]olloidal silver is known to be effective against multiple disease- causing pathogenic organisms, including anthrax, diphtheria, influenza, whooping cough and typhoid."
"Colloidal Silver appears to be nature’s most powerful antibiotic."
Mesogold™
"Word of gold’s power to relieve the pain of arthritis was passed down through the centuries and even today it is used in the treatment of rheumatoid arthritis, its efficacy confirmed by modern medical research."
". . .Colloidal Gold was listed as the number one remedy against obesity."
"One experimental new gold compound blocks virus replication in infected cells and is being tested for the treatment of AIDS."
"Used to . . . treat unstable mental and emotional states such as depression.. .suicidal tendencies, seasonal affective disorder (S.A.D.). . . ."
"Other traditional treatments include arthritis, obesity, skin ulcers, puncture wounds, nerve damage (neuropathy) . . . hyperactivity.. . . It is also used to alleviate the wasting and malnutrition associated with chronic diseases."
Mesocopper™
"A variety of inorganic copper preparations were found to be effective in treating chronic adenitis, eczema, impetigo, scorphulosis, tubercular infections, lupus, syphilis, anemias, chorea and facial neuralgia."
". . .subcutaneous and intravenous injections of.. .colloidal copper softened and degenerated carcinomas transplanted into mice."
"Injections of colloidal copper mobilized and expelled tumor tissue."
"[Clapper complexes have therapeutic benefit in the treatment of inflammatory diseases. Copper complexes have . . . been used successfully to treat patients with arthritis and other chronic degenerative diseases."
"[Sltudies suggest the use of copper dietary supplements as a means of preventing and controlling diseases such as atherosclerosis . . .coronary heart disease, aortic aneurysms and myocardial infarction."
"[Clapper metallo-organic complexes have been shown to have radiation protection and radiation recovery activities from ionizing radiation such as that used in cancer treatments.. . . Since these complexes may also have anticarcinogenic activity, there may be merit in using copper complexes in the treatment of cancer and in particular, treating patients undergoing . . . radiation therapy. . .."
Furthermore, your products are not generally recognized as safe and effective for the above referenced conditions and therefore, the products are “new drugs” under section 201 (p) of the Act [21 USC 321(p)]. New drugs may not be legally marketed in the U.S. without prior approval from FDA as described in section 505(a) of the Act [21 USC 355(a)]. FDA approves a new drug on the basis of scientific data submitted by a drug sponsor to demonstrate that the drug is safe and effective. Mesosilver™, Mesogold™, and Mesocopper™ are also misbranded because their labeling fails to bear adequate directions for the conditions for which they are offered [section 502(f)(1) of the Act].
The above is not intended to be an all-inclusive list of violations. It is your responsibility to ensure that all products marketed by your firm comply with the Act and its implementing regulations. You also have a responsibility to prevent further violations of the Act and all applicable regulations.
Failure to promptly correct these violations may result in regulatory action without further notice. For instance, we may take further action to seize your product(s) and/or enjoin your firm from operating.
Please respond in writing within fifteen (15) working days from your receipt of this letter. Your response should outline the specific steps that you have taken to correct the violations described above and to assure that similar violations do not occur. Your response should include an explanation of each step being taken to correct the violations and prevent a reoccurrence. You may wish to include in your response documentation concerning procedures you have implemented or other useful information that would assist us in evaluating your corrections. If you cannot complete all corrections before you respond, we expect that you will explain the reason for the delay and state when the corrections will be completed.
Your response to this letter should be directed to the U.S. Food and Drug Administration, Attention: Richard D. Manney, Compliance Officer, at the address and telephone number listed above. If you have questions regarding this letter, please contact Mr. Manney directly.
Sincerely,
Douglas I. Ellsworth
District Director
New Jersey District

Despite the FDA's dissatisfaction with claims made by the above company, it appears as if colloidal copper (as well as the other colloids such as colloidal silver) would be a good addition to one's "medicine" cabinet.
Has anyone had any personal experience with it?

Radarman et all:: Very cool thread, thanks!!!

I was always curious about the cubic crystal shape:

_http://www.museum.mtu.edu/Gallery/Copper/crystals.html
_http://www.museum.mtu.edu/Gallery/copper.html

I'm adding another note about Viktor Schauberger.
In Callum Coates' "Living Energies"

_http://www.amazon.co.uk/Living-Energies-Schaubergers-Brilliant-Workings/dp/0946551979/ref=sr_1_7?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1241728473&sr=1-7

it is reported that a rich man in a limousine attempted to thwart
the use of his copper plow in favor of the much more profitable
fertilizer industry. Coates relates that Schauberger believed that
steel/iron are anti-life, and that certain royal families still secretly
use copper cookware exclusively.

My attempts to confirm any of this since 1996 have been ... weak.
However one thought is, that if Schauberger's assertion has basis,
then the iron atom at the center of hemoglobin is literally behind
the oxygen atoms that are presented to body cells via the blood.
Does the design of an "unliving" bonding site behind an oxygen
atom that faces living tissue on the other side have significance?

Oh, and didn't Mr. Spock have copper based blood?

Here is some info on copper toxicity. These are quotes from the book "Amalgam Illness: Diagnosis and Treatment" by Andrew Cutler.

Copper Metabolism

Copper is mentioned here because there are a variety of poorly described abnormalities of copper metabolism that appear very similar to amalgam illness, and also because copper interacts with mercury – in amalgam illness it is best to keep copper somewhat low.

Absorption: copper is absorbed from the intestines. Zinc and molybdenum reduce the absorption.

Excretion: in normal individuals 96% of copper is excreted in the bile and 4% in the urine. In the rare condition Wilson’s disease, there is no biliary copper excretion and individuals eventually become copper toxic on a normal dietary intake. Biliary excretion may be deranged in other uncharacterized syndromes. Lipoic Acid dramatically reduces the biliary excretion of copper, and increases the urinary excretion. The transport protein ceruloplasmin is involved in some not understood manner in the biliary excretion of copper.

The protein metallothionein is involved in the storage, handling and excretion of copper. Metallothionein production is increased by Vitamin D and cortisol, and is intimately tied in with zinc metabolism – zinc takes up sites in the metallothionein as well as causing more of it to be produced, so more zinc will help most but not all people. Selenium often creates more free sites in the metallothionein that hold onto copper.

Transport: copper is bound in serum to the transport protein ceruloplasmin. Low levels of ceruloplasmin are found in Wilson’s disease. Nonfunctional forms of this protein may be involved in uncharacterized syndromes.

Distribution: in copper intoxication syndromes, copper will be elevated in red blood cells, in other tissues not generally accessible for analysis (e.g. liver and brain), in hair and possibly in urine. It may be normal in serum. There may or may not be excretion in the feces via the bile.

Copper vs. mercury poisoning

The symptoms of copper poisoning are very similar to the symptoms of mercury poisoning (amalgam illness) and a significant number of people who believe they have amalgam illness turn out to actually be copper poisoned and have no problem with mercury.

There are a wide variety of abnormalities in copper metabolism, one of which is the rare textbook condition Wilson’s Disease. There are many more less rare problems with copper metabolism that haven’t made it into standard texts yet. It is well worth checking RBC copper, hair copper and urine copper if corresponding tests for other elements are to be performed. Serum copper and ceruloplasmin are not informative tests as they are normal in many of the more common forms of copper poisoning even though they are low in Wilson’s disease. As copper is an essential element, LOW copper can also cause problems.

Copper poisoning acts similarly to mercury poisoning in that both metals are oxidation catalysts.

A normal person’s copper half life is about 35 days. For a person who is not excreting any copper in their bile, the half life increases to about 175 days and body concentrations of copper increase about 5 fold. This can bring copper levels into the toxic range. The symptoms are usually psychiatric.

In addition to genetic problems, anything that interferes with bile secretion, such as gallstones or other liver disease, will cause elevation of body copper.

Lipoic acid increases copper in urine and somewhat in intestinal secretions but eliminates copper secretion in the bile. Thus for a copper toxic person lipoic acid may be helpful or harmful, and the correct measurement is fecal copper rather than urinary copper. If fecal copper increases with lipoic acid, it is helpful in clearing the body of copper, but if it decreases the LA is a hindrance and will further increase body levels.

The normal intake of copper is 2-5 mg per day of which 40-60% or 1-3 mg is absorbed. Someone who is not secreting copper in their bile needs to limit absorption to 0.2 to 0.6 daily to keep tissue copper within normal limits.

Vitamin C in large amounts, zinc, and molybdenum hinder copper absorption from the intestine. Taking 10-20 mg of zinc, 250-100 mcg of molybdenum, 250-500 mg of calcium and 2 grams of vitamin C every time you eat will greatly reduce copper absorption. Taking zinc and manganese in a ration of 20:1 will increase the urinary excretion of copper.

Vitamins A, B3, B5, B6, and C antagonize the effects of copper, as does iron. Appropriate supplementation with these may reduce the toxic effects of elevated copper levels.

Copper containing foods: organ meat such as beef lever or kidney, chicken liver. Bone meal; shellfish, salmon, seafood; nuts, almonds, pecans, walnuts, pistachios; wheat germ, wheat bran, barley, oats, avocados, mushrooms, radishes, beets, green leafy vegetables, corn oil, and margarine; yeast, brewers yeast, garlic, blackstrap molasses, oranges and raisins, many kinds of dried fruit.

Beans and lentils, especially dried ones, are particularly high in copper. Soybeans and soy products like tofu contain much copper.

Vegetarian diets are often high in copper.

Copper sulfate is also used in swimming pools to prevent algae growth, and is often sprayed on fruits and vegetables as a fungicide. If you cook in copper pans a large amount of copper can dissolve into your food. Some houses with copper plumbing have significant amounts of copper in the water.

Just to contribute to this very interesting topic

Years ago my mums sister got cancer and in her latter stages one of my sisters who heard of geopathic stress lines had our aunts house checked and a stress line was found.

Basically the guy doing this geopathic stress test goes around like a water diviner and he detected an underground stream going through the house and it was going through under her bed and disturbing the natural field, so the bed was moved and she lived longer than doctors thought she would, her husband died several years before also from cancer (tumour).

Apparently from what I understand if one finds such an anomaly going through your house one is recommended to put copper tubing around the house with a small flow of water going through it and this is supposed to cancel out the effect of the distorted field caused by the underground stream (note copper tubing is placed in the ground).

Copper is also supposed to be very good at deterring slugs and snails, apparently if one puts up a copper barrier the little guys have to go somewhere else to feed, apparently its like an electric fence to them and if its to small the little fellows just sort of limbo over it, I haven't tried it out yet and will try it out this summer to see if its true.

Also regarding copper intake, liver is a good source for copper but only organic liver.

Anyway just my two cents

So did it work? Did she try the copper tube and if so, did it have any effect on the cancer?

No she didn't want the copper and all the digging up of the place, so moving the bed out of harms way seemed to help she lived several years beyond what the doctors expected.

My old home has an underground stream going through it, thankfully not going through any sleeping areas, we didn't get the copper work and no brother or sister with cancer thankfully, I guess we all just slept out of harms way.

check out this site, I found it really interesting and once commented it with a friend who is involved in orgonite but still do not know what to make of it, dots seem to be connecting though....or has has been said, the plot thickens...

I was surfing the net a while ago looking up random things on alchemy and i found a site that i was about to post a new thread about in a moment.

_http://www.edelstein-essenzen.de/en_metall.php

the site is generally about the "life elixers of Paracelsus", (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Paracelsus) wich are gem or metal 'essences', or liquids created from these substances. though i'm unsure how much of the site is credible, there is a good bit of information there.

anyway, as i was searching the forum to make sure there was not allready a thread pertaining to this i came across this thread and thought i would put up this bit about copper that came from this website:

Copper Essence

Planetary energy: Venus
Weekday: Friday
Energy system: Forehead chakra ("third eye"). The 6th chakra is connected to the sense organs and hormonal system, skin, kidneys and veins
Application: Helps to balance inner conflicts and harmonizes ones feelings jealousy, anger or arrogance. Strengthens intuition and the connection with ones sense of higher powers and helps to promote self-determination. Refines radiance. Copper generally supports detoxification on all levels of body, mind and spirit. Helpful for all disharmonies, which may occur due to insufficient excretion and detoxification in the case of kidney problems, varicose veins, disturbed metabolism, hair loss, sexual weakness, hormonal disturbance, states of fear or tension.

hope this adds a new way of looking at your research :)

Interesting subject!

I vaguely remember reading somewhere about nephilim being trapped in 3d with copper bracelets/shackles around their arms, legs and neck......?

Hi cyan,

Welcome to our forum. :)

We recommend all new members to post an introduction in the Newbies section telling us a bit about themselves, how they found the cass material, and how much of the work here they have read.

You can have a look through that board to see how others have done it.

Something small and interesting to add to this long-latent thread. I just finished reading Fulcanelli: His True Identity Revealed, by Patrick Riviere, and came across this on pg. 144:

[quote author=Patrick Riviere]Incidentally, we would like to tell an anecdote that deserved mentioning. In the autumn of 1911, Jules Violle submitted a memorandum entitled, "Sur un Retour momentane des Fleurs doubles d'un Rosier a la Forme simple" (On a Temporary Return from Double Flowers on a Rosebush to the Single Form) to the Academy of Sciences:
During that vacation period I had an opportunity to observe a fact that to me seems to deserve mentioning. This fact was presented to me by a magnificent "Gloire de Dijon" rosebush planted in the ground some ten years ago at Fixin that has shown remarkable development and vigour. [...]
Then, suddenly, around September 12, it produced a full florescence of absolutely single roses on all its branches, to which, eight days later, a full blooming of the customary beautiful roses replaced them on all those very same branches, which went on as usual and which were still adorning the rosebush when I left the country several days ago. (C.R.,1911,t.153).
It should be added that the savant used to carry out particular experiments in his garden, across which he stretched copper wires, thus obtaining astonishing results in the breeding of cultivated plants!

Interesting. just not to long ago I found a African shaman neck less in my mothers room. It was given to her by a old boy friend some twenty one years ago. The string and the back of the fabric is made I think of black goat skin. I also say this because the material is very strong considering it is pretty well intact after all these years. On the the front of the neck less is three pure copper plates with copper lines rapped above each one. With mini circles implanted vertically at the bottom and top of each metal piece. And in the middle there is a row of vertical dots on bottom and top and horizontal dots turn on an angle in the middle of the middle plate. It also have a piece of copper on the very bottom and cowrie shells on each end.
