Näthatsgranskaren / "The online hate reviewer" • Tomas Åberg
It is a S*IT SHOW

This is some really shady business. Right back to the roots. Because the career path this man has built on, started all with the infamous cases of severe animal cruelty / abuse - for which he has been hated for among the Swedish people. Or those who still can remember.

It is the same guy behind the business "The Online Hate Reviewer", in which he and his buddies, pick out elderly people who made comments on Facebook and Twitter, uttering criticism against the onset of foreign immigration to Sweden, the sudden explosion of high criminality and abuse it has caused ever since. Some old people got prison and fines, just for writing a comment (with words that were not hateful, and held in a sober style of common sense critics) thanks to this guy's "business".

Apparently this Tomas Åberg has been very successful with his new "job". Because - in my opinion - the PTB are supporting it. Apparently also the judges... (The same strong tend you find in Germany as well; albeit more severe and aggressive, on the verge of insanity with that the PTB's lakeys are getting away with, and how easy it is to fine / being people into jail for almost nothing)

It is a S*IT SHOW, against anything that resembles criticism including common sense.

Here an article from 2020 - which can give you a glimpse behind the whereabouts of Tomas Åberg.

It is a very ugly picture.

Notorious animal abuser Tomas Åberg: “I am the favorite hate object of extreme racists”

In an interview with SVT Nyheter, the notorious animal torturer and censor Tomas Åberg says he is threatened and slandered by “extreme racists”, but at the same time he feels compelled to continue his work of prosecuting pensioners.

Animal abuser Tomas Åberg does the lucrative work of framing pensioners in order to “look in the mirror”. Screenshot: Youtube.

Notorious animal abuser and former police officer Tomas Åberg (750127-0255) feels “threatened and slandered”. In an interview with SVT Nyheter, he complains about how he has unwittingly received some critical reactions to his actions, but says he still needs to continue as someone has to do the job of putting politically incorrect people in jail.

- “You have to dare to step forward and speak up when something is wrong. It allows me to look myself in the mirror. And I'm not going to hide the fact that I get a kick out of knowing that I'm making a difference,” says the animal torturer.

However, Åberg - who, according to SVT Nyheter, “pays a high price for hunting down extreme racists” - is reluctant to take on the job of hunting down mainly pensioners who may have believed that freedom of expression still exists in the country. He believes that this work should really be done by the police:

- “I don't think it's a good idea. I think this should really be the responsibility of the judiciary. The police should patrol social media just like they patrol the streets.

Åberg runs the tax-funded and lucrative informer business “Näthatsgranskaren” [The online hate reviewer"], which has set up a system to maximize the use of the “Hets mot folkgrupp” (hate speech) clause, which violates freedom of expression.

The business idea is to scan the internet for statements that can be reported under the “Hets mot folkgrupp” [“Incitement to racial hatred”] section and then sue the people who wrote them. These are often older people who, unaware that there is no longer freedom of expression in the country, have expressed themselves in ways that the “Net Hate Examiner” in cooperation with the “Legal Front” can exploit.

As older people often prefer to pay than to let it go as far as a lawsuit, it is fairly easy money for the infamous reviewer of so-called “cyber hate”. For a fee of SEK 900, he can get around SEK 10 000-15 000 tax-free per report. This is money that is exempt from seizure.

Åberg, who reportedly owes SEK 800,000 to the Swedish Enforcement Authority, has been granted more than SEK 2 million by the tax authorities to hunt down politically incorrect Swedes online.

“The activities of the 'online hate crime investigator' are having a detrimental effect on the already overburdened judicial system. In the last 2.5 years alone, the organization has reported 5,000 cases, leading to 215 convictions so far. Currently, there are hundreds of charges pending before the courts.

The former police officer is a known animal abuser who severely neglected six yaks in the 2010s. He left three of them to die of starvation and dehydration in a pen with no food or water, while he allegedly killed the remaining three in a panic. He then left the country until the statute of limitations expired and changed his name from Bergström to Åberg.

Åberg resents both the spread of unpleasant truths about him and the scrutiny of his own actions. In recent days, he has tried to silence citizen journalist Joakim Lamotte, who wrote a high-profile Facebook post.

And from year 2018 - albeit the article was/is behind a paywall.

Animal Abuser Behind “The Night Hate Reviewer”: Let His Animals Starve to Death
March 7, 2018 by Andreas Jonsson

gtograf-Vinchel-Budihardjo-800x362-1.jpg

The animals tried to find something to eat and drink, but in the end they starved to death in the enclosure where they were locked up. The zookeeper was called Tomas Bergström. Today his name is Tomas Åberg and he is praised in the media for his organization “Näthatsgranskaren”, which looks for anti-immigration posts on Facebook and reports them to the police. The members themselves have a huge register. The first review begins here.

Apparently he also changed his name, which earlier was Tomas Bergström.

How befitting. I had once a zion "husband", who too changed name, when "the s*it hit the fan" - in the shape of my former diary on the internet... which was an obstacle for his new career (he is a big shot now); People who do not wish to feel or be connected to some really bad actions they have imposed on others, and simply skip the consequences (and lessons) that normally derivate from such.

Article about Åberg's animal cruelty (2013)

A live yak

A 38-year-old Sydnärke resident is banned by the County Administrative Board from keeping animals. The man has for a long time proved to be unsuitable as an animal keeper, according to the authority after finding yaks that had starved to death on the farm.

When the County Administrative Board carried out a check on the farm on January 23 following a complaint, the 38-year-old stated that there were five animals in the enclosure. But they found three dead yaks and three alive. There was no water or feed in the enclosure and no feed at the farm.

The County Administrative Board believes that the farm's owner could not fail to see that the animals lacked food and water and that the animals had tried in various ways to find something to eat and drink.

Autopsy showed starvation

Of the self-dead animals in the enclosure, parts of two animals were sent for autopsy. It showed a severe negative energy balance (starvation), which certainly gave the diagnosis of emaciation, which caused suffering for the animals, writes the county administrative board in its decision.

The 38-year-old does not deny that he failed in his supervision and care of the yaks in January. But the County Administrative Board points out that deficiencies in feeding have been found in previous inspections, since 2010. The man has then claimed that the animals were fed but that they were sick.

Ignored the advice

In the reasons for the animal ban, the judgment is harsh:

The 38-year-old “has for a long time shown himself to be unsuitable as an animal keeper by not understanding or taking in information about the care of deer and yaks.”

According to the County Administrative Board, several different actors have tried to make him understand that the animals need feed in the right amount and variety and water, and that they must be cared for in a way that is appropriate for the animals. “Despite this, he has continued with inadequate feeding and care, and instead blamed the animals' underweight and poor health on diseases and parasites.”

Not getting away with it

The Animal Welfare Act provides an emergency exit for those who have neglected their animals - if the authority does not believe that the misconduct will be repeated, they can avoid a ban. But this does not apply to the 38-year-old. Even if the decision is appealed, it applies immediately and until further notice.

What can i say...

Gossip via Flashback, where Swedes at a forum speak / write about anything and everything. This Tomas Åberg / former Bergström has his own thread with 21 pages ! He ain't a small phenomena...

2018

According to Samhällsnytt, Tomas Åberg has now been removed from the nomination as “Swedish hero” after the old media's revelations about animal cruelty. Of course, the old media have not written anything about the macabre revelation of the bandit Tomas. Well done by Samnytt to contact the sponsors, Agria animal insurance has reacted to the revelation.

2018

It should also be added that T has used black labor on his farm at the time the animal cruelty was committed according to sources. He was also in court for not paying craftsmen he had hired.

Financial problems meant that the animals, yaks according to the newspaper, were starved to death and then buried in a pit. Some problems with the neighbors too.

15 Aug 2018

The investigation of Tomas Åberg is now being highlighted by Näthatsgranskaren. They are all over Åberg's animal cruelty. He had a hard time with the police and therefore let his animals starve to death, they say. Very strange to put such a discharge of responsibility on an adult human being. They present it as something tragic that happened to Tomas; he mismanaged his job at the police, was fired and therefore “really” the police authority is guilty of Tomas' animal cruelty? It is, of course, great that 'Nya Tider' Online magazin and others are scrutinizing the criminals who engage in harassment of ordinary people through denunciations.*** [see further below]

21 Sep 2024

In his prime he [Åberg] had 4-5 lawsuits per month. Let's say he got 1800 € each from these. For his part, he keeps it to a minimum in terms of his overhead. Then he chooses cases that are more slam dunk for the prosecutor. Mostly older people who confess directly just talking to a police officer (or investigator more commonly but the elderly will think it is a police officer). If confessed, there is zero risk of losing a case. The person provably wrote or spread this further.

It will be a pretty decent “monthly salary”. Reasons probably to continue with it. Must be some aversion within the judiciary for this behavior. But as long as it's just one, we'll let it go on. Just having this as a trial costs us taxpayers considerably more than this money given in damages.

*** Kind of cynical isn't it ?
If the aforementioned statement is correct, the "business" of "the Hate Reviewer" - which once investigated the very same man, that later became part the very same business, to hunt down any criticism from others on the internet, by sending them to court / fines & prison.

Also; the very same animal torturer Åberg was invited to speak by Council of Europe. Boy, there is really a lot of questional stuff about that person once you dig deep.

A Petty Tyrant. Perhaps a bit more then that it seems.

Our defense minister in an interview with our state funded media suggests a war tax for Europe, if US withdraws its support:

"We currently have strong confidence in the support group for Ukraine, in which the United States participates, that the United States will continue its support," Häkkänen said in an interview with Yle. "If there is a tight spot, Europe must take responsibility for this," he says. "It means that more money needs to be found in the wallets of European taxpayers to support Ukraine."

He also said that peace has to be made on Ukrainian terms. That currently would mean a total capitulation of Russia, if we go by Zelensky's "peace plan".

Maybe we could start a petition for sending Häkkänen to Ukraine. I'm sure that they need more people on the front lines.

Last time Trump was president, there was in 2019 the irresistible offer from the US reported as Europe has no freedom but to choose "freedom gas". We also had new sanctions put in place against Russia. The US and NATO military build up in Ukraine continued. Now Europe could have a US "freedom army" if they pay it to stay. Q: (Pierre) Well, so it's that. People got scared. That's a documented thing. The first leaks from Macron's servers was those documents from a NATO/CIA-sponsored foundation in France that was pushing for a lot of migration and a lot of mosques and stuff. I was wondering if his main mission is to bring in migrants and stir things up to lead towards a civil war?

A: US wishes to destabilize EU similar to Syria so that they can come in and "fix" things. i.e. rule and control resources and trade the "American way". Everyone will speak English!

Q: [laughter] (Pierre) They sure have a sense of humor, but I'm not sure that will be the only consequence...

(L) So basically, some kind of cabal in the deep state of the US is at the bottom of some kind of One World Order plan to really basically bit by bit take the entire planet under its control. Is that it either overtly or covertly?

A: Covertly at present, but overtly eventually.
The outlook for more Syriafication of Europe is still looking good. Ukraine may end, but what about the rest? Some would say that the US did not succeed in Syria. True, but it also did not go emptyhanded either: Trump quadruples down on pledge to steal Syria's oil: 'The only troops I have are taking the oil'

Politics aside, Nature has begun to respond in earnest. This year has seen floods in so many places, the media no longer care all that much to report on the locations, the magnitude of the damages, or on the numbers of all those dead and missing. What might still be coming for the north is massive snow fall followed initially by massive melting until one fine day, maybe in a few or in some years time, the snow keeps falling but the melting can't keep up.

Even Stoltenberg, NATO's previous Secretary General has in interviews admitted that Nato expansion led to the war in Ukraine. And how they have been arming Ukraine since 2014. But somehow it's still Russia's unprovoked war of aggression.

Russia is preparing for war with NATO, and it is not joking.

There it is stated in a more resonable fashion

This includes “a possible military conflict with NATO in Europe in the next decade,” he added.

Well, we already hear this for at least 1.5 years in the West, with the same melody NATO brainwashes people. That does however not mean, we are going out into all-war now.... albeit the PTB would love that, wouldn't they ?

Here in Sweden war mongering does go rampant - as the Government told the funeral organisations / Swedish Church to prepare 500.000 coffins / make space for war graves - as it is expected that 5% of the Swedish people are going to die in the war against Russia :scared:

Swedish army chief wants Sweden to prepare for war with Russia

Jonny-Lidfors-soldiers5.jpg

British Army Chief Roland Walker recently visited his Swedish counterpart Jonny Lindfors, where they discussed military cooperation, the international situation in general and the war in Ukraine in particular.

Walker believes that Europe must be ready to fight a war against Russia within just a few years – and the Swedish army chief shares this view.

– History shows again and again that Russia may seem to be down for the count, but they always come back. That’s why we have to be ready, because we who have supported Ukraine will be their target, said the British military chief.

– The Russian self-image that they have the right to create spheres of influence by subjugating neighboring countries threatens the European security order.
They are not only waging war against Ukraine but against the collective West, Lindfors agrees.

Roland Walker says Ukraine’s resistance to Russia “is a source of inspiration for all European countries” and he was very pleased with what he saw during his visit to Sweden.

– The soldiers I met were very clear about their purpose, to defend Sweden and by extension, the alliance (NATO).

“Exceptionally fanatical NATO supporter”

The visit took place on November 19 1000 days after Russia’s military intervention in Ukraine, and the British general says it is vital that the West continues to support Kiev in every way possible.

One person who has reacted to the statements from the two military leaders about war with Russia is Gustav Kasselstrand, leader of the nationalist party Alternative for Sweden. He called Lindfors an “exceptionally fanatical NATO supporter” who, however, does not seem particularly interested in actually defending Sweden.

What i found weird is that those news only recently popped up now in Dec 2024, while i realize that the original articles are from March 2023. Which also means, they've been FAST into preparing the Swedes for war and death (given that Sweden didn't become a NATO member until 7 March 2024, but the preparation for war graves was sent out in March 2023.

Maybe it has to do with a renewed article from 14 Dec 2024, where Gothenburg was asked to prepare for 30.000 war graves, vitalizing the subject anew.

14 Dec 2024
The Church of Sweden in Gothenburg has been instructed to prepare for the possibility of burying 30,000 fallen soldiers in a short period in the event of war or a “major disaster”.

girl-graveyard7.jpg

Swedish leaders have recently tried to sell the message that Sweden is already at war with Russia or at least that war may very soon become a reality.

Against this background, the Swedish Civil Contingencies Agency (Myndigheten för samhällsskydd och beredskap) has also urged Swedish churches and funeral directors to prepare and secure land to be able to bury a very large number of dead in a short time. And the Church of Sweden in Gothenburg is one of the actors that has been tasked by MSB to be ready to quickly solve 30,000 coffin burials as part of the Swedish crisis preparedness.

We need to prepare to deal with fallen soldiers and it is quite new for us to start building preparedness for that now, says Katarina Evenseth from the Gothenburg Burial Society.

Must be able to be moved

– The biggest challenge for us, who are also looking for burial land in general, is to ensure that there is actually enough contingency land to match the recommendation that has come now with so many hectares, then we need to get rid of more burial land.

The Swedish Armed Forces estimate that at least 10 hectares of land need to be prepared for a “major disaster or war”, but it is still unclear exactly where the cemetery will be located.

What is unique about war graves and soldiers’ graves is that they should also be able to be taken care of and eventually moved back to their home countries or hometowns when things are calm again, explains Evenseth.

2 March 2023
Church prepares for 500,000 dead in war with Russia - gravesites reviewed

The Church of Sweden must be prepared for the possibility of half a million Swedes dying in a future NATO war with Russia. Therefore, all churches in the country have been asked to prepare for mass deaths of Swedes, reports SVT Nyheter Öst.

Preparations for a possible war with Russia continue.

The Church of Sweden has increased its preparedness, as Swebbtv News has previously reported. At the end of last year, the bishop sent out a letter to all the country's vicars, who were urged to prepare for war.

The assignment is to plan burial sites for a total of five percent of Sweden's population. It is about “war graves for half a million people”, writes SVT. This corresponds to Ukraine's total losses, dead and wounded, so far in the ongoing war with Russia, according to Douglas Macgregor.

This means, among other things, finding land for a large number of new graves, and planning for possible problems, such as crematoriums stopping working. Churches also need to be prepared for the possibility that they will not be able to identify the people who die. This is usually the case in war. Therefore, people must not be buried too deeply, but must be able to be dug up again for identification. So you have to have a system for that too.

- We are on our way to one of the parts of the cemetery that we call “Katastrofen” which is set aside to be used in case of war, says Pär Österlund, vicar in Finspång's parish, to SVT Öst and points out that time feels unpredictable and that it has all come close to personal now.

There are legal requirements for the church to be able to bury a large number of people during war.

Chapter 8, section 3 of the Burial Act states: “A congregation that is the principal for funeral activities shall make the necessary preparations for these activities during heightened alert.”

It really is a criminal 💩-show in Scandinavia.

Grind war it into Swedes' faces

My husband and I also noticed that the The Swedish Civil Contingencies Agency (MSB) who is responsible for 'helping society prepare for major accidents, crises and the consequences of war' - which is the same authority that sent out the War brochure to all households weeks ago - now even sent out a directly addressed digital letter yesterday. (The type of letter where you have to sign in with Bank-ID in order to read it :umm:).

Really making sure that war is ground into every face with emphasis
Is it necessary for the Swedish citizens to be convinced to give money and lives. Maybe it is needed for people to decide and make a choice, even if that choice is choosing not to resist. There is also the an important element of distraction. The larger context is not the projected enemy over there, but the enemy out there, I am thinking in terms of this book:
High Strangeness – Les Editions Pilule Rouge
cover-en-highstrangeness-600x900.jpg
Would there be a market for this book in Scandinavia if translated? Is it possible to invite the collective attention in that direction?

If some people in power know that an major climate change, infrastructure damages are possible, would they necessarily oppose that some others prepare the people even if not for the reasons like coming earth changes and alien attempts to take over power overtly?

Greenland hits back at Trump threat

The autonomous Danish Arctic island has announced it’s “not for sale”
Greenland has rejected any idea of selling out to Washington after US President-elect Donald Trump said control over the Arctic island would be in his country’s strategic and national interest.
One possibility is that the US occupies Greenland by force, or at least more openly than now, another is that tension is increased so much in Scandinavia that the US has to come in and "help" with the administration and as part of such a move, takes over Greenland "to protect it". Considering that Greenland is next to Canada and not next to the US, the claim to Greenland is as much a warning shot to those who think Canada should be formally independent of the US.

The Danish administration of Greenland has been critizised. For instance the following could be turned into a vote turner case:

Institutes: Offensive spiral campaign in Greenland should be investigated

According to DR, thousands of women and girls in Greenland under the age of 13 had IUDs inserted - many without consent.

/RITZAU/
Denmark should investigate its responsibility for Greenlandic girls and women having IUDs installed without consent in the 1960s and 1970s.

This is the opinion of the Greenland Council for Human Rights and the Institute for Human Rights.

The statement comes after DR described that thousands of Greenlandic girls and women had IUDs installed at the initiative of Danish authorities, who wanted to limit population growth.
From another article published December 10:

Greenlandic Naja was given an IUD without consent: Now the BBC has made a documentary about her

While she is waiting for an investigation into the spiral case from the Ministry of Health in Denmark, she is being hailed abroad.
[...]
Investigation - maybe - on the way
Naja Lyberth hopes that the recognition of the events then means that history will not repeat itself.
"hopes ... history will not repeat itself" if she cared a bit more she could bring up the effects of some batches and types of mRNA COVID19 injections, but of course these affects the general population, so there is more "equality" and less to complain about.
The article continues
- We hope that something will come out of it on the other side. That there will be some consequences after the investigation, says Naja Lyberth, who is a psychologist and today lives in the Greenlandic capital, Nuuk.

That is why Naja Lyberth is waiting for the investigation into the actions of the Danish state, which the then health minister Magnus Heunicke (S) promised to initiate at the request of the Greenlandic politicians in May.

- I'm not out to fight, I'm out to find some peaceful solutions and that my fellow sisters come out on the other side, she says.

DR Nyheder has tried to get an answer to how far the Ministry of Health is with the promised investigation.

The ministry states in a written response that the investigation model by professionals or institutions is being prepared in a collaboration between Greenland and Denmark.

- It is expected that impartial professionals or institutions will be appointed at the beginning of the new year, they write.

You can watch the BBC's documentary about Naja Lyberth and the spiral campaign 'Greenland's lost generation' on Youtube. You can find the podcast 'Spiralkampagnen' in DR Lyd. [In Danish.]
Timeline: The spirals from Denmark
1966 Up through the 1950s and 1960s, the population in Greenland increases. The number of newborns peaked in 1966, when 1,781 children were born – an increase of almost 80 percent in 15 years.

1966-1970 At the request of the Ministry of Greenland and the National Board of Health, 4,500 IUDs are placed in a large part of the 9,000 fertile women who live in Greenland at the time.

1970 The law is changed so that doctors in Greenland can guide young girls from the age of 15 on contraception without the consent of their parents.

1970 Minister of Greenland at the time A.C. Normann says in a speech to the Folketing in 1970 that the birth rate is now on the way down again, and that this is not least due to the spiral.

1974 The Danish state becomes aware that it risks receiving criticism for the spirals in Greenland at a UN conference. At the conference, there is harsh criticism of family planning in formerly colonized countries such as Greenland, and the UN calls for everyone to be allowed to decide how many children they want to have and when.

"can guide young girls from the age of 15 on contraception without the consent of their parents" could be contrasted with the push for children, at least a few months or years ago, to be exposed to LBTQ+ propaganda in schools, the flirt with puberty blockers and sex change therapies.

Adoption practices in Denmark during the 1980s
Recently I listened to a podcast from the Danish State Radio and TV Corporation about adoption of children in the 1980s. Apparently some licensed adoption organisations worked with people associated with Danish Consulates and Embassies to facilitate adoption from all kinds of countries, but the issues is that released documents show the way it was done was sometimes indistinguishable from what could be called child trafficking and with bribery and corruption involved as well.

Danish woman helped buy children for adoption in Lebanon: 'The black one...he's cheap'
New podcast series from DR Dokumentar reveals that Danish adoption agency was involved in bribery and child trafficking in the 1980s.

In March 1983, the Danish adoption agency AC Børnehjælp received a typewritten letter from one of the agency's employees in Lebanon. It was a Danish woman who was tasked with helping the agency find children for adoption.

The letter stated that she had made contact with a Lebanese midwife who could provide children.

- Apparently she can give us the children we want, but the price is DKK 21-25,000. (current currency ed.) Nobody gets anything for free in Lebanon. Take it or leave it (...) I stand in line with people who are willing to pay any amount for the child.
The price corresponds to 3000 Euro, and research shows that the real cost on the ground, at the time was 1/10 of that. The journalists followed a case and discovered that one midwife traded off one of a pair of twins, leaving the parents in the belief that there was only one child. The claim that there were two was proven by DNA testing. Later they find other cases from the same midwife.

In the period about 33,000 children were adopted into Denmark from across the world. The impression I have is that the practices, policies and procedures in other Nordic countries may have shared a similarity. If that is indeed the case would need research similar to what the Danish journalists carried out. While the cases are presented in the series of podcast as very bad, it could also be worse, and some questions in the podcast are not asked. For instance who were those people and organizations that were "willing to pay any amount for the child"? What is the situation today? From this perspective, one could go as far as saying that the presentation of the issues surrounding both the contraceptive measures used in Greenland and the adoption practices two decades later share in common that they would be more valuable if more questions were asked, rather than remaining satisfied with the perception of isolated one-offs.

Comment on situation in Sweden

Is it necessary for the Swedish citizens to be convinced to give money and lives. Maybe it is needed for people to decide and make a choice, even if that choice is choosing not to resist. There is also the an important element of distraction. The larger context is not the projected enemy over there, but the enemy out there, I am thinking in terms of this book:
High Strangeness – Les Editions Pilule Rouge
View attachment 104514
Would there be a market for this book in Scandinavia if translated? Is it possible to invite the collective attention in that direction?

If some people in power know that an major climate change, infrastructure damages are possible, would they necessarily oppose that some others prepare the people even if not for the reasons like coming earth changes and alien attempts to take over power overtly?

Comment on situation in Denmark and the Danish Realm/Greenland
For context, Greenland, is an island in the North Atlantic west of Canada.

Later:

One possibility is that the US occupies Greenland by force, or at least more openly than now, another is that tension is increased so much in Scandinavia that the US has to come in and "help" with the administration and as part of such a move, takes over Greenland "to protect it". Considering that Greenland is next to Canada and not next to the US, the claim to Greenland is as much a warning shot to those who think Canada should be formally independent of the US.

The Danish administration of Greenland has been critizised. For instance the following could be turned into a vote turner case:

Institutes: Offensive spiral campaign in Greenland should be investigated

From another article published December 10:

"hopes ... history will not repeat itself" if she cared a bit more she could bring up the effects of some batches and types of mRNA COVID19 injections, but of course these affects the general population, so there is more "equality" and less to complain about.
The article continues

It turns out there is a weird US base under the ice in Greenland. Supposedly inactive, supposedly forgotten about and 'rediscovered' by NASA. Sounds like a pack of lies. My guess is that the USA already basically owns Greenland, and maybe the MIC is just now coming out publicly with the idea, through Trump, as another dominance signal to Russia and the rest of the world.

What’s old is new again.

NASA scientists discovered an underground “city” buried 100 feet beneath the ice of Greenland.

Researchers were shocked when their advanced radar technology picked up signs of human construction deep beneath the ice of the island territory’s tundra, according to the space agency.

Camp Century, an abandoned Cold War-era military installation, was rediscovered 100 feet beneath the ice by a NASA Gulfstream III back in April, according to a news release.

“We were looking for the bed of the ice and out pops Camp Century,” said Alex Gardner, a cryospheric scientist at NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory who helped lead the project. “We didn’t know what it was at first.”

“Our goal was to calibrate, validate, and understand the capabilities and limitations of UAVSAR for mapping the ice sheet’s internal layers and the ice-bed interface,” said NASA scientist Chad Greene.

Little did researchers think they would discover an ambitious military project from the previous millennium.

Camp Century was designed to be a “city under the ice” — with plans for over 3,000 miles of tunnels meant to provide a tactical advantage in a nuclear fight against the Soviet Union.

The US Army Corps of Engineers built the massive structure at the behest of President Dwight D. Eisenhower, who sought to preserve the use of ground-deployed nuclear missiles as a key part of the nation’s nuclear deterrent policy, according to the Washington Post.

Camp Century was initially drawn up to be three times the size of Denmark (which owns Greenland), sitting at 52,000 square miles (about the size of Louisiana) and outfitted with 2,000 firing positions from which 600 “Iceman missiles” would be launched in the case of nuclear war with the Soviets — a veritable revolver carved out of ice.

The missiles would be launched through “cut-and-cover” tunnels, carved 28 feet beneath the surface, according to an academic article titled “The Iceman that Never Came.”

Those 600 missiles would have been enough to destroy 80% of US targets in the Soviet Union and Eastern European, the Washington Post reported.

These sweeping military plans were kept secret from the Kingdom of Denmark, which owns Greenland. The US told Danish officials that the project was purely for scientific research purposes. The real motivations behind “Project Iceworm” were revealed in 1997, the Washington Post reports.

“Project Iceworm” and Camp Century were both abandoned in 1967.

In all, the project cost upward of $25 billion in today’s dollars and would be decommissioned due to the challenges associated with building beneath an ever-shifting ice sheet.

During his first term as president, Donald Trump floated the idea of purchasing Greenland from the Kingdom of Denmark in order to take advantage of the rare and strategic resources that reside on the icy tundra.

Often when reporting from Scandinavia it is troubling news, but it is also Christmas and New Year Season, which brought in my inbox a yearly and often humorous report from a cousin about what he has been up to.

In the letter, he commented on the choice of his girlfriend who had been to a concert with a band called Aqua. Not being very knowledgeable about the music scene, I had to look up what this band was about, and according to the Wiki, Aqua covers genres like pop, dance-pop, bubblegum pop, Europop and Eurodance. As an example think of their most well known song: "Barbie Girl". I looked them up on YouTube which down the line led to a suggestion of a Swedish group called Ace of Base, another 90s band which work in the styles of dance-pop, Europop, and reggae-pop. They are the creators of "All That She Wants", but also a song, Happy Nation, which I might have heard but otherwise did not know.

The rest of the post is about the lyrics of Happy Nation, which I think shows that although the Nordic countries are being pushed towards conflict with Russia, war and warring it is not necessarily what everybody is supporting.

One music lyrics interpreter writes, and that is helpful to keep in mind:
While Ace of Base members have discussed their music and influences in interviews, they have also allowed listeners to derive their own meaning from their songs, including “Happy Nation.” They have emphasized the importance of music being open to interpretation and personal connection.

There is a lot of variability in interpretations depending on where people come from. Below are some features I found interesting. However given that the notes to the lyrics are long, here is the music video:
And the official music video.

The song appeared on their debut album Ace Of Base - Happy Nation [European Full CD Version], uploaded in Russia, incidentally. For the American version of the same album, see The Sign (Ace of Base YouTube upload) which has a different song sequence and even selection. The songs played in the two version correspond to the information on the Swedish Wiki, but differs from what is in the English Wiki, so there may bave been other versions in the market at one time.

Next:

The lyrics of Happy Nation

It begins with Latin:

"Happy Nation"

Laudate omnes gentes laudate
Magnificat en secula
Et anima mea laudate
Magnificat en secula
Here and there on the net, there has been some discussion of the inspiration for this choice, and one might say that it would not have worked for a dance pop sung had it been spelled out in an English translation. There are word choices which some attribute to psalm 116(117) verse 1. and the Magnificat, though the lyrics do not include the reference to the Lord. In that way it is non-denominational, (some would say new agey), which in the video is also carried by the use of allusions to symbols from different traditions, though we don't know for sure to what extend the video reflects the thoughts of the lyric composers.

From a Latin discussion group one member wrote in this thread:
"- Magnificat anima mea, "my sould extols" comes from the canticle Magnificat"
'- Laudate omnes gentes, "praise, all peoples"'
"- In secula, "in centuries" (or "for all times" if you will)"

Here is the suspected source in its entirety and with the words also found in the first line of the lyrics bolded:
116 in the Vulgate
1. Alleluja. Laudate Dominum, omnes gentes; laudate eum, omnes populi.
2. Quoniam confirmata est super nos misericordia ejus, et veritas Domini manet in aeternum.
Psalm 117 in the New International Version gives for the above:
1. Praise the Lord, all you nations; extol him, all you peoples.
2. For great is his love toward us, and the faithfulness of the Lord endures forever.
The Wiki for Psalm 117 has:
Psalm 117, known by the opening words in Latin as Laudate dominum (translated "O, Praise the Lord" or "Praise ye the Lord"), has been set to music by a number of composers, including William Byrd,[8] Marc-Antoine Charpentier (7 settings: H.177, H.152, H.159, H.182, H.214, H.223, H.224), Michel Richard Delalande,[9] and Johann Sebastian Bach (Lobet den Herrn, alle Heiden, BWV 230). Heinrich Schütz composed a metered paraphrase of the psalm in German, Lobt Gott mit Schall, ihr Heiden all, SWV 215, for the Becker Psalter, published first in 1628. Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart wrote an adaptation of this psalm for solo soprano voice and chorus: the fifth movement of Vesperae solennes de confessore ("Solemn Vespers for a Confessor"), K. 339.[10]

Alan Hovhaness set portions of it, along with Psalm 27, in his 1935 work "The God of Glory Thundereth".[11] The American Jewish musician Robert Strassburg (1915 – 2003) also wrote an adaptation.[12] More recently, it has been set by the Swedish composer Fredrik Sixten. The psalm also forms the introduction of the 90s pop song Happy Nation by Swedish pop group Ace of Base,[citation needed] and a popular arrangement from the Taizé Community.[13][14]
While the appearance in a popular song is surprising, the above shows the text is well known in the history of music.

Next some comments on the The Magnificat by the author, and probably theologian, Atila Sinke Guimarães
The Magnificat is also known as the Canticle of Mary. It is one of the eight most ancient Catholic chants and perhaps the earliest Marian hymn. Its name is the opening word of the Vulgate text (Lk 1: 46:55): Magnificat anima mea, Dominum (My soul doth magnify the Lord). These are the words chanted by Our Lady on the occasion of her Visitation to her cousin St. Elizabeth.
In its adapted form which this author gives, it is part of the church liturgy for some occasion, but looking up the original Vulgate text of Luke 1: 46:55 here gives:
46. Et ait Maria: Magnificat anima mea Dominum:
47. et exsultavit spiritus meus in Deo salutari meo.
48. Quia respexit humilitatem ancillae suae: ecce enim ex hoc beatam me dicent omnes generationes,
49. quia fecit mihi magna qui potens est: et sanctum nomen ejus,
50. et misericordia ejus a progenie in progenies timentibus eum.
51. Fecit potentiam in brachio suo: dispersit superbos mente cordis sui.
52. Deposuit potentes de sede, et exaltavit humiles.
53. Esurientes implevit bonis: et divites dimisit inanes.
54. Suscepit Israel puerum suum, recordatus misericordiae suae:
55. sicut locutus est ad patres nostros, Abraham et semini ejus in saecula.
The translation in the New International Version is:
46. And Mary said: “My soul glorifies the Lord
47. and my spirit rejoices in God my Savior,
48. for he has been mindful of the humble state of his servant. From now on all generations will call me blessed,
49. for the Mighty One has done great things for me—holy is his name.
50. His mercy extends to those who fear him, from generation to generation.
51. He has performed mighty deeds with his arm; he has scattered those who are proud in their inmost thoughts.
52. He has brought down rulers from their thrones but has lifted up the humble.
53. He has filled the hungry with good things but has sent the rich away empty.
54. He has helped his servant Israel, remembering to be merciful
55. to Abraham and his descendants forever, just as he promised our ancestors.”

The English part of the song lyrics

AZ Lyrics give this text:
Happy nation, living in a happy nation
Where the people understand
And dream of perfect man
A situation leading to sweet salvation
For the people, for the good
For mankind brotherhood
(We're traveling in time)
Ideas by man and only that will last
And over time we've learned from the past
That no man's fit to rule the world alone
A man will die but not his ideas
Happy nation, living in a happy nation
Where the people understand
And dream of perfect man
A situation leading to sweet salvation
For the people, for the good
For mankind brotherhood
(We're traveling in time)
(Traveling in time)

Tell them we've gone too far
Tell them we've gone too far (happy nation)
Come through and I will dance with you (happy nation)
Tell them we've gone too far (happy nation)
Come through and I will dance with you (happy nation)
Tell them we've gone too far
Come through and I will dance with you
Happy nation, living in a happy nation
Where the people understand
And dream of perfect man
A situation leading to sweet salvation
For the people, for the good
For mankind brotherhood
Happy nation, happy nation
Happy nation, happy nation
I highlighted "travelling in time", because that might well be what some souls do, inserting themselves in different experiences. And when the poet writes "Come through" what might the implications be in relation to travelling in time?

The Swedish Wiki writes about the album if translated:
The first single from the album was Wheel of Fortune. Wheel of Fortune was first released in Denmark and Sweden but nothing happened. Then they released it again but once again nothing happened. Mega Records gave the single a third chance and released it only in Denmark. Then first the clubs started playing the single and then the radio and finally the single reached number 2 on the Danish singles chart. Wheel of Fortune was released in the rest of Europe with varying results.

The second single was All That She Wants. The single immediately became a monster hit and reached number 1 in 16 countries and was a top 10 hit in the rest of Europe. The third single Happy Nation was also a box office success, while the last single Waiting For Magic was only released in Scandinavia and reached number 19 on the Swedish singles chart.

Mega Records wanted to release the material in the US, but all the labels there said no. But Arista Records wanted to give the album a chance and signed the band but they demanded new material. Including two new songs and a cover. Ace of Base agreed and recorded The Sign, Living In Danger & Don't Turn Around.
The English Wiki writes about the album
Following its initial release in Denmark in November 1992, Happy Nation was gradually released across Europe throughout 1993, starting in Norway in January, followed by Sweden and Germany in February, and then the UK in June.
The English Wiki writes about how it went with the sales of the song:
"Happy Nation" was quite successful on the charts in Europe and some other countries. Although not as big as "All That She Wants", the song managed to make some impact, reaching the number-one position in Denmark (1 week),[5] Finland,[6] France (4 weeks)[7] and Israel (3 weeks).[8] It peaked within the top-5 also in Lithuania (3),[9] the Netherlands (5)[10] and in the group's native Sweden, where it hit number four and stayed within the Sverigetopplistan for a total of eight weeks.[11] Additionally, the single was a top-10 hit in Austria (6), Belgium (Flanders) (8), Germany (7) and Norway (6). In Iceland, it entered the top 20, peaking at number 14,[12] while in Italy and Switzerland, it was a top-30 hit (21 and 23).[13][14] In the UK, it only reached the top-40, in its second run on the UK Singles Chart, peaking at number 40 on October 9, 1994.[15] On the Eurochart Hot 100, which was based on national singles sales charts in 17 European countries, "Happy Nation" peaked at number 19 in September 1993.[16] It debuted on the chart nine months earlier, at number 94 in the beginning of January 1993,[17] after charting in Denmark. Elsewhere, the single peaked at number 22 and 80 in New Zealand and Australia, respectively. It did not chart in the US.

"Happy Nation" was awarded with a gold record in Germany with 250,000 singles sold and a silver record in France, after 125,000 units were sold.
It began with a Christmas letter, and I guess, I should wish the reader a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year too :flowers:

Notes from Denmark about the distribution of sex toys in grocery shops, the history of pornography, and the current curriculum of teachers for the youngest children.

One woman wrote on FB in the middle of November about a new trend in Denmark. For context you need to know that the Netto and Bilka are like supermarkets and hypermarkets respectively. Here is a translation of her post:
From this week, you can buy sex toys in Netto and Bilka (and in Føtex online), normalization of sex toys where children go. Great Salling Group.
Wrote to Bilka and Netto and pointed out that I thought it was deeply problematic to sell sex toys where children came with mom and dad to buy food.
Bilka replied to me, they wrote:
'We follow the times, follow the latest trends.
We are aware that this type of product is not for everyone, so we place the products on the upper shelves so that children cannot immediately reach them.
'
So the fact that children can't immediately reach the sex toy is good enough?
Latest trends, grooming of children?
Can't children look up?
Or see what's in people's basket or on the conveyor belt at the checkout?

Here you can see Bilka's large selection of dildos, butt plug sets, penis rings etc.

No thanks to liberalism at the expense of children.

Did you know that Denmark is the only country in Scandinavia where animated and computer-generated child porno is legal. Therapists point out that the animations can lead to the use of real images and ultimately the abuse of children.
But a ban would harm freedom of expression and legal security, according to Bjørn Elmquist, chairman of the Legal Policy Association:
Link:
https://www.information.dk/.../helt-legal-form-boerneporno

What about child safety?
No thanks to freedom of speech and legal security for adults, at the expense of children.

In the 1970s, Denmark supplied the world's pedophiles with child pornography – because in Denmark it was legal. Leading experts encouraged parents to experiment with their children, and if you said no, you were a prudish.

In the vast majority of other countries, child pornography was banned, therefore almost all the material that was confiscated in those countries came from Denmark.

The country's leading porn production companies released films and magazines with titles such as 'Sucking Daddy', 'Child Love' and 'Incest Family'.

Abuse of children was disguised as liberalism. Isn't that still what is happening here in 2024? Just call me prudish.
Are you aware that work is being done again to legalize pedophilia?
Back in 1980, when child pornography was finally made illegal in Denmark, it was thanks to massive pressure from the population. Most parties voted in favor of a continued legalization of sex with children. It is worth noting.
It is still up to us (the general population) to protect Denmark's children. Their innocence and psyche are attacked from everywhere.

Translating excerpts from the last article:
I looked up the last link and below is a larger excerpt from the article:

18/07/2020 AT 07:30
For 11 years, Denmark was the world's child pornography mecca – why did no one intervene?
In the 1970s, Denmark supplied the world's pedophiles with child pornography – because in Denmark it was legal. Leading experts encouraged parents to experiment with their children, and if you said no, you were a prudish.
Ida Trøiborg
Shortly before Christmas Eve in 1968, the then Minister of Justice Knud Thestrup took the rostrum of the Danish Parliament to talk about pornography.

At that time, it had been a year since text had been released, and now the Conservative minister thought that the time had come for the naughty pictures.

Only a few politicians protested against the proposal, because Denmark was entering the golden age of sexual liberality, and now it had to be the end of being outraged over a pair of bare breasts.

These are people you see on the street that you wouldn't imagine would buy it.
Willy Strauss, owner of the former shop Blue Movie.

But one of those who opposed the proposal was the Minister of Justice's party colleague Ellen Strange Petersen. She was worried about the children and that 'cynical' foreigners would come to Denmark and make money by exploiting minors. Despite her protests, however, the bill was voted through six months later by 125 members of parliament, and Denmark became the first country in the world to allow 'lewd images.'

Physical abuse of children was still illegal, but the photographs and films were not, so child pornography exploded, and no one reportedly raised an eyebrow.

In the vast majority of other countries, child pornography was banned, and therefore almost all the material that was confiscated in those countries came from Denmark.

In Vesterbro's many sex cinemas, you could buy tickets for child porn films, in a newspaper ad from Hawaii Bio on Vesterbrogade, for example, the film advertisement 'Child sex – only 10 years' was enticed, and one of the country's leading porn production companies published films and magazines with titles such as 'Sucking Daddy', 'Child Love' and 'Incest Family'.

As Jyllands-Posten has previously described, the Royal Library today has a locked collection containing all the child pornography material that was published during that period. A testimony to a black period in Danish history, which until now it has been possible to apply to be allowed to see.

But the Minister of Culture, Joy Mogensen, has now, on the basis of Jyllands-Posten stories, chosen to close access to the collection to everyone other than researchers at least PhD level.
The remaining part of the article is behind a pay wall, but the above gives at least a better idea than the FB post. Time will show if the trend will change.
Checking what the Wikis have to say about the pornography legislation in DK, one had to say:
A ban on pornographic literature was lifted in 1967. In 1969, Denmark became the first country in the world to legalize pornography. People in Denmark have free access to pornography. Pornography including minors younger than 18 years is prohibited since 1980, and possession of the same is also illegal.
Continuing with the subject, sort of, the following FB post was worth a machine translation:

This is how children are indoctrinated through indoctrinated adults full of misunderstood care and 'civic mind'.

December 27 at 1:48PM
The teacher education in Denmark contains a national module: 'Gender, Sexuality and Diversity'. On the teacher education programme, [This education covers a number of branches, but includes those who take care of children 0-6] this module has been compulsory for all students for a number of years. In the teacher education programme [Teacher of children and teenagers in the age group 7-17], it has not been an independent module until now; But as far as I understand, it is on its way to becoming a mandatory module there as well.

For this module, a book has been written with the title 'Gender, Sexuality & Diversity', with Steen Baagøe Nielsen at Roskilde University as the first main author. Steen Baagøe Nielsen is also the teacher of the course with the same title. What that book says is thus taught to all pedagogues and perhaps also all teacher students in Denmark.

I have bought the book home and have fought my way through it. Already in the introductory chapter it is stated that there is no real scientific evidence to claim any major general difference in the behaviour and performance of the sexes, and in chapter 1 Steen Baagøe Nielsen writes: 'Although biology strives for objectivity, it is the 'biological body' . . . in fact, the construction of biological and biomedical sciences, determined by the tools that biology now has at its disposal. In other words: The 'biological sex' only exists because biology exists.' This is a kind of manifesto for much of the book's content. And it is something that is taught to ALL future educators and teachers in Denmark.

So where do you find a counterbalance to this? Where can you read a professionally well-founded text about the fact that there are real biological differences between boys and girls, men and women? No place! There is no counterbalance, so the social constructionists have free rein. They play a football game where no one is on target in their opponents' goal, so they can always get the ball in.

I have posted my assessment of the book on the blog Gender Debate at this link:
https://xn--knsdebat-54a.dk/blog/?page_id=397
After a detailed review, I arrive at the following general assessment:

The entire book deliberately excludes all biological and health knowledge about gender. It even calls for the rejection of the knowledge that comes from the exact sciences; 'In fact, as a general rule, you can allow yourself to be skeptical if you are presented with 'exact knowledge'', it says. Instead, throughout the book, there is a clear emphasis on social construction and even on the rather radical form of social constructionism called poststructuralism, with an emphasis on Judith Butler and Michel Foucault in particular. What these two postmodern philosophers, among others, claim is neither logical nor true. If an academic discipline is based on them, then it just contains air and is based on something that is not true. Unfortunately, this kind of decadent thinking has taken hold of all social sciences and humanities – sciences that for that reason do not deserve the term science.

We read that poststructuralism has as its starting point that there is no other reality than the one we create together through words and language. Since you can always change your formulations, and since these formulations create gender, you can always change the understanding of what gender is. Such an approach is not compatible with science.

In this book, the goal is, among other things, to 'discover and articulate attitudes and values so that they can be subject to change.' The book is based on an understanding of gender as a social construction, precisely because it makes it possible to work with development and social change. I agree that if you have a rigid and static perception of what gender is, then there is no possibility for people to develop. But it goes too far when the aim of the book is radical changes in the structure of society. In this way, the book ceases to be a textbook that presents knowledge and experience; Instead, it becomes political propaganda aimed at undermining the basic structure of Western culture.

This is questionable, precisely because the book serves as a textbook in a course that is mandatory for anyone who is training to deal with children. In this way, a way has been found to indoctrinate the entire future generation with state aid. Everyone must be exposed to this propaganda.
The last part is the conclusion of her review, which those interested can look up and translate.

One might say that children these days have very free access to pornography over the internet, but why make the situation even worse?
Apparently some forces want just that, and as was the case with the legislation on free pornography which came out in 1967, Denmark works as a convenient detonator.

Denmark: The authorities have recognized thousands of marriages with non-Western minors.
By: Arnt Jensvoll 27 October 2024, 21:16
Berlingske, has seen internal documents from the Ministry of Social Affairs and Housing, which show that the Danish authorities have, for decades, given the green light to marriages with child brides as young as nine, ten and 11 years old – something few would imagine either in, or about, Denmark.

Non-Western

Data from the Central Personal Register show that the authorities have approved several hundred marriages with one or more non-Western minors from 1986 until today. In several cases, one of the parties has been as young as nine years old.

These are marriages entered into abroad, which have subsequently been recognized by the Danish authorities via a royal letter.

Royal letters were an official dispensation from the authorities which made it possible to recognize marriages with minors. The scheme was abolished in 2017, but the practice continued after the Royal Letters were cancelled.

Misleading figures

There is no minimum age for the marriages recognized by the Danish state. In 17 cases the youngest partner was 11 years old. In 13 cases the youngest partner was nine years old, but the figures are probably incomplete as several hundred are recorded with an age of zero.

The figures include both marriages entered into in Denmark and marriages entered into abroad, which have subsequently been recognized by the Danish authorities.

Also nine-year-olds

According to the figures, from 1986 onwards, the authorities have e.g. accepted:

300 marriages with 14-year-old children
86 marriages with 13-year-old children
49 marriages with 12-year-old children
17 marriages with 11-year-old children
11 marriages with ten-year-old children
13 marriages with nine-year-old children

One X included in the article writes if translated:
According to Berlingske, the authorities have approved 285 marriages with children aged 0.The newspaper itself writes that there is uncertainty in the figures. Yes, it is safe to say that.
Aged 0, could just mean that no data is available, as when a birthday is not known, but still... The article further has:
No need to travel abroad.

Berlingske's inspection of the department's internal papers shows that the authorities have registered around 20,000 marriages with minors since 1970.
Minors is just less than 18 years of age.
The conclusion of the Danish authorities' quality assurance of the figures is that the number of marriages with minors entered into on Danish soil after 1986 is 1,093, and that the Danish authorities have recognized 8,663 marriages with minors entered into abroad.

[...]
A large age difference between child brides and adult men indicates forced marriages, says researcher Sofie Danneskiold-Samsøse.
[...]
The authorities have failed

Inger Støjberg, leader of the Danish Democrats, is ›shocked‹ by the information.

- I hardly know what to say. It is terrible that the Danish authorities have turned a blind eye. The authorities have failed to an unprecedented degree. It is incomprehensible that the government will not dig to the bottom of the matter and place responsibility.

The Danish People's Party also finds the figures shocking:

- Some heads must roll. If people in the ministry have been aware of it, they should be fired. The minister must appoint those responsible, or take responsibility and resign from the ministerial post,' says the party's immigration spokesperson.

In November 2023, when Berlingske first published revelations about the authorities' approval of child bride marriages, the SVM government promised an investigation. Why has nothing happened yet, 11 months later?
It is a scandal and confirms SVM's lack of interest in the girls. x.com

Is the above a case of:
Explosive revelations and events coming!
Session 21 September 2024
(L) All right. If there's anything we need to ask or should have asked what we didn't ask that's essential to our wellbeing or whatever, please consider it asked.

A: Not now! You have enough for now. Explosive revelations and events coming! Goodbye.
Maybe not explosive revelations for the world, but for the local national self-reflection?

Along with the posts about the Greenlandic women who were subject to the intrauterine devices, the case about abortion policies that basically amounted to assisted child trafficking, the sex eduction propaganda pushed in the teacher education, and that is just one area. Add as mentioned earlier, the COVID measure, the Ukraine support, North Stream bombing, massive abuse and assisted tax loophole for foreign investors a few years ago, how much more will it take before illusions about the world and society fall away? The bill boards are out there in writ large!

This post has comments on the NATO/US expansion or occupation of the Arctic, the story about a Danish mercenary that returned from Ukraine and thoughts about the effect upon the war in Ukraine made by supporting nations and their populations as compared to that of mercenaries who decided take active part.

There is an article up on SOTT: New steps towards the Arctic War. It ends:
The accession of Sweden and Finland into NATO was a key step in securing the Arctic War. In particular, with Finland and secondarily Sweden, one of the most important Russian bases in the Arctic, the Kola Peninsula, is directly threatened.

With around 40 vessels, the Russians can boast the world's largest fleet of icebreakers and their presence at the Pole is well organised and continuously reinforced.

A few days ago, Trump relaunched the idea of buying the island, an idea that the Americans have been pursuing since 1867 and that Trump himself had put on the table during his first presidency. He then moved Ken Howery, the ambassador who was in Sweden, the one who evidently drove home with interesting and convincing arguments Stockholm's renunciation of the neutrality that had lasted, more or less, for two centuries.

It is curious that Howery, the young global leader of the World Economic Forum, was one of the founders of PayPal and is part of the Pay Pal Mafia that includes Thiel, Musk, Nosek, Levchin. Musk and Howery magically find themselves together. What a curious coincidence.

The presidential entourage is interested in the northern part of the 'Green Land' in the middle of the ice - while the population is almost all in the south. The Inuit are the population with the highest suicide rate in the world: drowning them in dollars doesn't make them happy, but maybe it helps. Whether it is a sectoral purchase, a long-term lease, permits to build and concessions to mine - or perhaps an operation of political subversion within the Danish balance of government - the US is ready to play its hand.

This is consistent with the US intent to 'reunify America'
in order to make it great again, and is even better understood if we consider the coincidence of the Panama issue, for which Trump has reiterated his desire for annexation. A strategy that makes sense if we consider that Trump takes seriously the multipolar evolution of the world: he therefore needs to compact his pole, putting all the pieces together, being ready to wage war with the new numerous adversaries.

Russian media carried in late december articles about a Danish mercenary who fled the war scene of Kursk. Generally they are a mix of information, sensationalism, just as they have propaganda value. One of the more detailed accounts, though it still has the qualities mentioned follow:

Bloody blonde. Danish mercenary Annabelle was lured by rapists from the Ukrainian Armed Forces

The young Danish mercenary Annabelle Kristen Jorgenson with the call sign AK fled to her homeland after participating in the attack on the Kursk region. However, this did not save her from criminal prosecution - a 28-year-old blonde who confidently wields a machine gun could be imprisoned for 20 years.

According to the Danish woman herself, she left because of the high risk of dying under fire. There are grounds for another version of the escape - it is known that in the Kharkov region, Jorgenson contacted two Frenchmen, who later received official charges of rape.

Shed blood in Iraq and the Kursk region
The press service of the department reported to aif.ru on Friday that the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation opened a case against a 28-year-old Danish citizen who took part in hostilities on the side of the Ukrainian Armed Forces. A blonde with combat experience gained in Iraq is suspected not only of mercenarism, but also of committing a terrorist attack (paragraphs “a”, “c” of Part 2 of Article 205 and Part 3 of Article 359 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation).
Frankly, I don't know how she with her young age could have made it to Iraq, but whatever. The article continues:
Investigators found that Jorgenson, as part of Ukrainian units, invaded the territory of the Kursk region in November 2024, where she committed criminal acts against civilians. The goal, as emphasized by the department, was to intimidate the population, cause property damage and destabilize the activities of government bodies. Investigative authorities are now taking measures to establish the whereabouts of Annabelle and her accomplices.

Contacted the rapists from the Right Sector*
Jorgensen, in honor of the famous Russian weapon and the first letters of her name, came to Ukraine from the Danish port city of Haderslev. The blonde machine gunner is a former Danish defense soldier. During her service, she was sent to Iraq, where she gained combat experience. Jorgensen calls herself a medic, but at the same time, on her social networks you can find a lot of photographs in which she moves in conflict zones with weapons at the ready.

The bloodthirsty Danish woman grew up in a wealthy family. In peaceful life, the mercenary has been interested in equestrian competitions since adolescence.
I happen to know a couple of women, who were into horse riding competition. My impression from my talks is that this is a community of alert, hard working, and courageous people. Looking after a horse and prepare it for competitions, especially high level, is not a walk in the park, it is a responsibility that needs attention. There is very much to do every single day.
The article continues:
Ran into a mine and barely escaped the fire
On her last mission, Annabelle, judging by the stories on her social networks, was supposed to evacuate a wounded soldier, but he died from his injuries. The Danish unit was ambushed by Russian fighters. While retreating, the car in which Jorgenson was driving ran over a mine. The militants had to rush into a trench, where they were stuck for several hours while the firefight took place. As a result, the group lost four soldiers and several more were injured. Among them was another friend of the Danish woman, Irishman Mark Cantwell. After this, AK realized how much what was happening in Ukraine differed from what it was taught by the Danish commanders in the military unit. Delays in wages and supplies, coupled with a huge risk to life, forced the blonde to put down the machine gun and return to her homeland, as she herself makes clear. What was the real reason for the escape is unknown. If detained in one of the countries and extradited to Russia, she faces up to 20 years in prison.

Earlier, two Colombian mercenaries were transferred to the Russian Federation - Aron Medina and Alexander Ante, who were detained in Venezuela while trying to get to their homeland from Ukraine.

According to the Finnish journalist Kosti Heiskanen, in the Northeast Military District zone you can find many Scandinavians fighting on the side of Ukraine. At the same time, the main functions of recruiting and delivering such mercenaries to Ukraine are taken on by the Finnish representatives of the “International Legion” of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.

“Among the militants there are Finns who have long served as instructors in Azov*. For example, there is Mäkelä, who has been recruiting Finns for nationalist battalions since 2014-2015. The Finnish authorities support those who are sent to the Armed Forces of Ukraine,” the military correspondent noted in a comment to aif.ru.

One of the Scandinavian fighters, the Swedish nationalist Mikael Skilt, is considered one of the co-founders of Azov*. In 2014, during the creation of the national battalion, he took upon himself the function of attracting foreigners from Western European countries. Skilt, like Danish Jorgenson, is a defendant in a criminal case opened in Russia. The militant is wanted.

In total, investigators of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation opened criminal cases against 800 mercenaries who take part in hostilities on the side of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, the department reported in November.

This list pretends to give the names of some of the foreign soldiers who have fought in Ukraine, but only those that are publicly known, and these are just a fraction of the number alleged to have been involved. Still, in this limited list, several are Scandinavians,
Finland 13
Norway 11
Sweden 8
Denmark 5

Regarding the larger number, the following was released by the Russian MoD in March 2024; from this site there was:
2025-01-06 095653.png
If I translated, we have involved/killed:
From Finland 135/44
From Sweden 88/25
From Denmark 69/22
From Norway 61/18

Reflections on the number of participants from Scandinavia and the choice they have made
Another way of looking at the aid from Scandinavia, any area for that matter, is to take the contribution from the different countries as a fraction of the total aid an multiply it by the number of dead, wounded and material damages on both sides. Lets say for arguments sake that Scandinavia has given around 30 billion and take that as a fraction of 300 billion, then multiply it by say a million lives and what have you got? Similarly, if you think the material damage is 300 billion Euros, then there will also be a number.

Next, if we consider those that participate actively in the war as mercenaries, then one could add the number of people, add the number of hours spent warring or supporting it and then take that as a fraction of the total number of people involved and their time warring. This will give a number of hours. This we could divide by the number of people killed to find the number of hours involved in warring that corresponds to one person killed. For a single person we could then take the number of hours warring and divided it by the number of hours used warring to find out what the contribution to the killing and wounding each has made.

The drawbacks of this perspective is that some countries have been actively preventing peace, while others have followed, the same goes for individuals Some showed up really early to make sure war had a good chance. Also, if we look at weapons and support, some are more deadly than others, just as in the amount given for aid, the time spent in distant headquarters planning and scheming is not included, nor is the price of the huge expense to satellite support, because they are covered under the lable of being ordinary defence spendings.

In Danish, there is a proverb, "hæleren er lige så god som stjæleren", which in English corresponds to "the fence is no better than the thief" To apply this analogy, I would say the thief is the person who is warring, and the fence the one who pays for it. Where I am going with this perspective is that there might not in all cases be a particular reason to be more upset with those that join the active war effort than those who support or encourage it on the sidelines.

Those that join up in Ukraine voluntarily may have various reasons, an innate deviant personality, greed for money, adventurism, idealism, family traditions(?), and maybe some are mostly victims of programming. Whatever the reasons, are they necessarily worse than those who pay their taxes, and support the war from a distance, those who allow the daily media to saturate their minds and override their conscience, or those who talk of a need for peace but do little to learn, and nothing to counteract their forced participation through the taxes they pay? Could it be that some of those that show up on the front are more honest to themselves and end up learning more from what is going on than those that outsource their support and suppress acknowledging their part in every way possible?

On SOTT there is this article: Greenland leader calls for independence from Denmark as Trump enters
The reactions in Denmark, are not entirely uninteresting in a Scandinavian context. At the end there is a comment on drones observed over a Danish port and the Norwegian ship Oslo Carrier 3, that refused to take Russian sailors on board in the Mediterranean Sea.

Before we begin, recall this excerpt:

Session 30 August 2014
(Alada) Well, China is so big, but it's so relatively quiet...

A: Still waters run deep and strong. The USA and allies are in for a rude and painful awakening.
Now, years later, the US is realizing that yes they can try to block China this way and that, but there are also some rare earths that are found in Greenland that could come in handy, and when Russia and China wish to develop the northern see route, then it is time to take the gloves off, and get down to business. For that there is no Western leader more direct than Donald Trump.

The Danish politicians who for years have been wishing to see them selves as front figures for equality, green development and support for Ukraine, as promoted by UK/WEF/EU/IL/US Deep State/NATO, are now frantically looking for a new mask that can fit the shifting situation. Before a new narrative gets established within the next few days, if not hours, below is a look at the a series of news bits and comments translated from the two largest media houses in Denmark, Berlingske and Jyllands-Posten.

Note: I have no intentions of spending time updating about every little chess move in this story, as it develops, but sometimes paying attention to what happens at the beginning of a political transformation can later be helpful.

From the media Berlingske:
Trump makes significant announcements about Greenland and threatens Denmark with tariffs – stay tuned here
Donald Trump will not reject the use of military and economic coercion to gain control of Greenland. The future president of the United States said this at a press conference on Tuesday, where he also threatened to impose a 'very high' tariff on Danish goods. Follow the development here.

Military analyst: 'Greenland is already de facto occupied by the United States'
The agreement that Greenland and Denmark entered into in 1941 means that the U.S. military can and will already do what they want in Greenland.

This is what Peter Viggo Jakobsen, associate professor at the Department of Strategy and War Studies at the Royal Danish Defence College, says to TV 2.

Therefore, it is said, Greenland is already de facto occupied by the United States.

The United States has a military base in Greenland, Pituffik Space Base (formerly Thule Base, ed.).

Because the United States is present in Greenland with the consent of Copenhagen and Nuuk, it is not called an occupation, says the military analyst:

'But if we imagine a situation where the United States wants to do something that Denmark and Greenland do not like, and the Americans found it necessary for their own security, then they will do it,' he told TV 2.
What he says could have been clear to the public since at least 1968 when a B52 had a problem and dropped four Plutonium bombs near the above mentioned base, at a time when officially Greenland was a nuclear free area. How that case was later handled speak volume. Since then there have been so many other instances, but how many noticed and connected the dots?

France goes against Trump's Greenland dreams: Europe will not allow 'attacks' on its borders
France is now coming to Denmark's rescue.

The French foreign minister is clearly speaking out against Donald Trump, after the incoming president's statements on Tuesday evening.

'It is not an option that the European Union will allow others in the world to attack its sovereign borders, whoever they are,' French Foreign Minister Barrot said, according to Reuters.

Donald Trump on Tuesday evening would not deny that the United States will use military or economic sanctions to force Denmark to renounce Greenland.

'We are a strong continent,' Barrot continues in one of the first ministerial reactions in the EU – if not the first – to Tuesday's statements from Trump.

The news agency AFP also brings the French reaction that Barrot made to the radio channel France Inter.

Here he says that he does not believe that 'the United States will invade' Greenland. But he notes that we 'have entered an era where we see a return to the law of the strong.'

The EU bus moves closer together

The French announcement should be seen as a call for Europe to stand united.

This is according to Berlingske EU correspondent, Julie Schneider.

'The statements from France's foreign minister are a clear signal that Denmark has support in the EU. One of Europe's largest nations thus emphasizes that they have Denmark's back and at the same time calls for the EU to get on the bus together,' says Julie Schneider.

'It is a call for Europe to stand together at a time when the United States and Trump are threatening one of their closest allies,' she continues.

Greenland is not a member of the EU, but linked to the EU through a special association arrangement for overseas countries and territories.

On his social media site Truth Social, Donald Trump wrote late last year that ownership and control of Greenland is 'paramount.'

CNN reporter: That may be the purpose of Trump's strategy
CNN's longtime reporter Stephen Collinson, who covers American politics, tries in an analysis to get closer to what the strategy is behind Donald Trump's latest announcements about Greenland, the Panama Canal and Canada.

He believes that it is 'unlikely that Trump will get what he wants with Canada, Panama or Greenland.'

Therefore, Trump may have another goal with the sensational statements:

'His strategy may be aimed at getting better deals for the United States – perhaps a discount for American ships sailing through the important waterway between the Atlantic and Pacific Oceans, greater American access to rare earths in Greenland and sea routes exposed by melting polar ice, as well as a new trade agreement with Canada,' he writes

Former US top diplomat: US takeover of Greenland will »smash NATO«
If Donald Trump ends up making good on his threats and takes over Greenland, it will be difficult to tell the difference between the United States and Putin.

This is what former U.S. Ambassador to Poland Daniel Fried says.

If the U.S. takes over Greenland, 'it will smash NATO, because there would no longer be a difference between us and Putin,' says Daniel Fried, who is currently affiliated with the think tank Atlantic Council.

This is what Reuters writes.

On Tuesday evening, Donald Trump would not deny at a press conference that he might use military or economic sanctions to wrest control of Greenland from Denmark.

These are comments that lead Daniel Fried to compare the future president of the United States to a '19th-century imperialist.'

Norwegian Prime Minister reacts to Trump's statements about Greenland
Norwegian Prime Minister Jonas Gahr Støre calls Trump's statements about Greenland a special statement.

This is reported by the Norwegian news agency NTB.

Such questions should not come up between allies, it continues.

'Now we have to get used to a new style of communication from the president of the United States and then react soberly and properly to it. I think both Danes and Greenlanders are good at that,' the prime minister said, according to Dagbladet.

Mona Juul on Trump's comments: 'Completely unacceptable'
Conservative Party Chairman Mona Juul called it 'completely unacceptable' to hear Donald Trump talk about buying Greenland.

»A lot of crazy things are being said these days,« she writes in a post on X.

She believes that the current situation should be used to strengthen the Danish Realm.

'Let's strengthen the community. Give Greenland and the Faroe Islands more space in the cooperation. Invest in each other. And find a common path to an even closer unity of the realm,' writes Mona Juul.

Former U.S. Secretary of Defense has seen nothing like it in his lifetime
Former Republican senator Chuck Hagel, who served as defense secretary under Barack Obama, finds Trump's recent statements about Greenland 'worrying.'

'When our strongest allies and partners lose faith in us, nothing good comes of it,' he told The Wall Street Journal.

At a press conference on Tuesday, Donald Trump would not deny that the United States will use military or economic sanctions to force Denmark to renounce Greenland.

'China and Russia are looking at all this and saying 'Trump, keep talking,'' the former defense minister said.

'We have never seen anything like this before, at least not in my lifetime, from an American president.'

Former NATO chief: 'I agree with Denmark's prime minister'
Greenland belongs to Denmark.

This is stated by former NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg.

'Greenland is part of the Kingdom of Denmark. Denmark and the United States are allies. Denmark is an ally that has worked very closely with the Americans in many NATO operations. And of course, it is important that you respect allies and their sovereignty and territorial integrity,' he told Aftenposten.

The statement comes in the wake of Trump's press conference yesterday.

'I agree with Denmark's Prime Minister, Mette Frederiksen, who says that she cannot imagine such a situation,' Stoltenberg said, referring to the Prime Minister's comment yesterday.

'I don't have the imagination to imagine that we will get there,' the prime minister said of the possibility of military coercion.

From the same paper, there was a comment:

Media: Trump considers declaring a crisis to pave the way for tariffs
Donald Trump is considering declaring a national economic emergency.

This is according to the American media CNN, referring to four anonymous sources who have knowledge of the case.

Such a statement could give Trump the opportunity to make a new tariff program, the media writes.

This is due to the International Economic Emergency Powers Act, which gives presidents the power to control imports during a national crisis.

'Nothing can be ruled out,' says a source, who claims that there has been a discussion on the subject.

Thus, there is no official confirmation.

The Swedish news agency TT writes that both Wall Street in the US and Swedish stocks have reacted negatively to CNN's story.

Trump has previously threatened the United States' two neighboring countries, Mexico and Canada, with a tariff of 25 percent.

He has also threatened to impose a 60 percent tariff on Chinese products.

Every year, Denmark gives block grants and other types of grants to Greenland.
But do you really know what the total bill amounts to for the Danish taxpayers?

B.T. has asked the think tank CEPOS to investigate this.

'When you take both the block grant, which is 550 million Euro annually, and the operation of the police, the judiciary and prisons, which is about DKK 1.5 billion, we end up with a bill of 760 million Euro,' explains CEPOS' chief economist, Mia Amalie Holstein.

The block grant alone accounts for about a third of Greenland's state budget, she says.

According to CEPOS' calculations, for the same money, you could get considerable tax cuts for all Danes or hire a small army of new nurses.

'If you want to know how much money it really is, you can, by comparison, lower the bottom tax (the tax that everyone who pays income, ed.) by about half a percentage point for that amount. This corresponds to a tax cut of 500 Euros a year for a working-class family,' says Mia Amalie Holstein.

Conversely, you could also hire about 8,000 new nurses for the 760 million Euros that the Danish state annually gives in subsidies to Greenland, she adds.

Greenland is part of the Danish Commonwealth and is thus subject to the Danish Constitution, but does have autonomy in certain areas.

Several studies have shown that there is great support for seceding from Denmark among the Greenlandic population.

The future US President Trump has expressed several times that he wants Greenland to become part of the United States. Both after the presidential election in November and in 2019, when he was last president of the United States.

On Tuesday, his son, Donald Trump Jr., visited Greenland.

On the same day, Trump expressed that he would not rule out the use of military or economic coercion to gain control of Greenland.
The above amount is mentioned, but not what Denmark has given to Ukraine, which is more than ten times larger!!! and the aid is written out quickly, with little discussion or for that matter resistance from the citizens.

Young Trump's excursion to Greenland is a gloomy omen
Trump Jr.'s excursion to Greenland is not an innocent tourist trip. Despite internal discord, Copenhagen and Nuuk must stand together to reject such methods.
This is an editorial, and they begin:
Jyllands-Posten is a liberal newspaper, which is expressed in the editorial – while journalism lives its own, free and independent life. We make a sharp distinction between journalism and opinion. Read more about Jyllands-Posten's editorial writers here.
Trump Junior's visit to Greenland is far from the innocent affair that he himself tried to give the impression of. A pair of MAGA caps on the heads of Greenlanders makes just the difference that Donald Trump and his team need in what looks like an American campaign.

Greenland is not alone in having to contribute to the idea of making America great again. Canada and the Panama Canal are also on the list of areas that the future president of the United States would like to take ownership of. The last time he was president, he thought he could buy Greenland. That proposal was rejected in Copenhagen as absurd and in Nuuk with a fresh remark that Greenland was not for sale, but open for business.

The last part of that sentence speaks directly to the businessman Trump, who can see the cash register ringing. If he can outbid Denmark with the – seen in American eyes – a measly DKK 4 billion, which is paid out every year in block grants from Copenhagen to Nuuk, then it looks like 'an offer you can't refuse'. The son has now been sent on a mission to look at land and opportunities. But it should be noted that he was accompanied by an eager father, who from a distance tweeted about Greenland and threatened both customs and military to get his way. But neither Denmark nor Greenland should accept this kind of mafia-like methods from the country that both call their closest allies.

It was not until Trump Jr. had landed in Nuuk that Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen (Social Democratic Party) stated what should also be a matter of course in Washington: The future of Greenland is defined in Greenland, and Greenland is the Greenlanders' own.

What is, at best, a provocation by the future President of the United States, is happening at an extremely sensitive time. Greenlanders are about to go to the polls, and Greenlandic self-confidence and demands on Denmark have grown steadily while Mette Frederiksen has been prime minister. On the other hand, Copenhagen has accommodated Nuuk by involving Greenland much more in the areas defined in Copenhagen: foreign and security policy.

Symbolically, Greenland has also been given a more prominent and independent place in the king's updated coat of arms, and it has become possible to speak Greenlandic in the Folketing. The government has also shown itself to be accommodating in its efforts to unravel the dark sides of the colonial era. From the Prime Minister's perspective, the perception is undoubtedly that Greenland's message has been understood that it will not accept being a second-class member of the Danish Realm, and that it is high time to treat Greenland as an equal partner.

But Mette Frederiksen has so far also gone to great lengths to accommodate Donald Trump. The experience from his most recent period is that resistance meets resistance. This time, Trump has gained support. On the very day he was elected, the government announced that Denmark will spend even more money on the Armed Forces. Most recently, billions have been allocated to the Arctic with a message that Denmark will cooperate with the United States on the surveillance of Greenland.

And what is the thanks for that? That Trump breaks with all diplomatic code and tries to threaten his way forward in a way that you usually have to go to more shabby parts of the world to find.

Not only for the Danish government, but also for Greenland and the United States' other allies, the visit must stand as a harbinger of what is to come. The last time Donald Trump was president, he juggled international agreements, including membership in NATO. Now it is more than hinted that he is prepared to go one step further and set his own world order.

Trump's Greenlandic offensive demands Danish unity
This is not the time for facile solo announcements from Danish politicians to score cheap points. The government has a major task in securing common ground – and in highlighting all the advantages of the Danish Realm.

The Prime Minister and the rest of the government are currently facing a huge headache. In fact, it is a gross understatement to call it a headache, because with Trump and his entourage's aggressive actions in Greenland, the unity of the realm is threatened like never before.

The kingdom is – if we are not careful (and if we have any say at all?) – well on its way to being reduced to a small nation with no international clout at all.

Recently, I argued here in Jyllands-Posten that Denmark should invest far more in Greenland – and should have done so a long time ago. That it is Greenland that is an asset to Denmark to a much greater extent than it is Denmark that is an asset to Greenland. And that Denmark must act accordingly.

That still applies. But after the dramatic developments of recent days, where Donald Trump's son has traveled to Nuuk, there is also a need for something else. And that is that the Danish politicians are dropping the Christmas games, dropping the party tactical considerations and uniting in a defense of the unity of the realm that has existed for so many years, and which is indisputably to the advantage of Denmark and – I also believe – Greenland.

In recent days, we have seen a number of Danish politicians make wild solo statements. Fortunately, most have been knocked into place by their parties. But when we are in such a tense situation as now, we need to move at the same pace and create as little doubt and anxiety as possible.

It is the government's task to get the parties in the Folketing to comply. To make everyone understand the seriousness of the situation we are in.

It's not just something that's for fun. It's not just something we should laugh at. It's not just something we can score cheap points on.

It is the role of Denmark and Greenland in the world that is under attack. From what we thought was a close ally. And coincidentally, at the same time, the world's most powerful country with the world's most powerful military.

The Americans have long played a role in Greenland and in the rest of the Arctic. They must continue to do so. Because neither Denmark nor Greenland can handle the task on their own. But it must be done in a proper way. And it doesn't right now.

In previous jobs, I have worked closely with Greenlanders and Greenlandic organizations, including on nature conservation and citizen involvement in the Arctic. Through this work, I have also learned more about the living conditions of Inuit in other parts of the Arctic, namely in Nunavut in Canada, in Alaska and in Chukotka in Russia.

Even though God knows that Denmark has made many mistakes in our actions towards Greenland, the great powers have been far worse. The Greenlandic language and culture are much stronger than those of their relatives in the other Arctic regions. Familial and friendly ties also bind our two countries together in ways that the United States cannot match at all.

I think most Greenlanders agree with that. But that is why they still want increased independence, with good reason. They want equality. They want self-determination. And we don't have that

Therefore, I hope that the government and its Greenlandic counterpart, Naalakkersuisut, will quickly draw up a line that is beneficial to both parties. And that requires that the party-political shenanigans are packed away in a hurry.

As a young activist, Aqqaluk Lynge cried out for independence: Now he calls it 'pure utopia'
He is one of Greenland's most respected voices. Now left-wing activist Aqqaluk Lynge warns that a new generation of Greenlanders is about to throw decades of struggle for real self-determination on the floor. The island risks becoming a new Puerto Rico, it says.
From the headlines taken together the impression is that some quick footed movements in Nuuk and Copenhagen will ensure that the impressions will be conducive to the US interests, but will it be able to cover up the rude awakening experienced by some observers? Hardly, and that is not necessarily a bad outcome.

And before we close, there was some UFO activity a few days ago at the port of Køge, near Copenhagen. See this post. The fuzziness of the lights I saw in a video not included in that post, but I found a Tweet:
Regarding the investigation, the military says it is not their responsibility and refer to the police to find out what it was. We heard that before during the Nord Stream sabotage, but the excuse then was maybe that it was not on the surface but below. The police found nothing.

A social media post noted if translated that an interesting ship unloaded some cargo a couple of days before:

NATO and Ukraine involved in terrorist attack on Russian cargo ship – Russian lawmaker

After the sabotage of a Russian cargo ship in the Mediterranean, RT spoke with Andrey Kolesnik, a member of the Russian Defense Committee of the Duma, who shared his thoughts on the reasons behind the explosion and those involved in the terrorist attack.

The Norwegian-flagged ship Oslo Carrier 3 refused to board the sinking crew of the Ursa Major for unknown reasons, said Oboronlogistika, the ship's owner, Sputnik.

Oboronlogistika said it was a flagrant violation of Article 10 of the 1989 International Salvage Convention.

'The refusal of Norwegian sailors to rescue Russians in the Mediterranean is a scandalous incident that deserves total condemnation,' Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said.

According to Oboronlogistika, the owner of the sunken vessel:
As the lifeboat approached, the nearby Norwegian ship Oslo Carrier 3, whose crew was Russian-speaking, refused to take the crew members of the Ursa Major on board, citing a kind of ban.

This refusal is contrary to Article 10 of the 1989 International Convention on Salvage, which mandates that all ships must provide assistance to those in distress at sea.

The likelihood that Ursa Major was the victim of a terrorist attack makes this even more appalling. This shows not only a disregard for the law of the sea, but a shocking indifference to the lives of seafarers in grave danger.

Serious accountability is required for this inhumane and illegal decision.
There is this image, as well as one of the drones, but the ship will do:

From Marinevesseltraffic, there was:

From Marineradar, there was:

What does it all mean? In fact, what would even prevent the Norwegian ship from having launched a sea drone that somehow hit the Russian ship? Speculation of course, but these days it seems the distinction between commercial ships and military are blurred. Either way, Greenland can remain with DK or join the US, benevolence can wait.

There it is stated in a more resonable fashion

Well, we already hear this for at least 1.5 years in the West, with the same melody NATO brainwashes people. That does however not mean, we are going out into all-war now.... albeit the PTB would love that, wouldn't they ?

Here in Sweden war mongering does go rampant - as the Government told the funeral organisations / Swedish Church to prepare 500.000 coffins / make space for war graves - as it is expected that 5% of the Swedish people are going to die in the war against Russia :scared:

13 Dec 2024

What i found weird is that those news only recently popped up now in Dec 2024, while i realize that the original articles are from March 2023. Which also means, they've been FAST into preparing the Swedes for war and death (given that Sweden didn't become a NATO member until 7 March 2024, but the preparation for war graves was sent out in March 2023.

Maybe it has to do with a renewed article from 14 Dec 2024, where Gothenburg was asked to prepare for 30.000 war graves, vitalizing the subject anew.

While I don't follow Finnish media that regularly these days, according to Tuomas Malinen the messaging here is similar, and the media propaganda allegedly describes war with Russia at some point, more or less as an inevitability. Like they are trying to groom the population.

They also discuss the contradiction, that Nato was sold to us on the promise that it will make us safer, and avoid a war. But now, we will have to get ready for war.

As an anectdote there is a recent Finnish TV miniseries "Conflict", where "an unknown enemy" invades and take over part of Finland.

This was a good one, in terms of the reporting on the bombardment by the media towards preparation for war against Russia. Malinen, who was interviewed, repeats the story of how easily it would be to isolate Finland and be forced to negotiate if Stockholm is destroyed and the island of Gotland in the Baltic sea is taken by Russia. This would be an extreme scenario, and seems to be highly unlikely, but it shows the absurdity of a hypothetical full-scale NATO war using Finland as one of the launching grounds.
