Re: Show #6 Climate Change, Food Shortages and the Future

the sound is very good, but there is some intermittent breaking up - particularly from Joe in the beginning.

There's a slight tremor and cutting of the sound but it is still audible. ;)

This is what I'm getting, too. This hasn't happened in other shows, at least nothing like this.

Re: Show #6 Climate Change, Food Shortages and the Future

Everyone sounds very clear and the sound is better than in previous weeks! There is though, a breaking up when someone is speaking, especially Joe.

I agree, sounds much better . And the internet connections seems to get better too.

Re: Show #6 Climate Change, Food Shortages and the Future

Talking about disinformationists claiming that cooling is also somehow a consequence of AGW look at the end of this article today on sott:

http://www.sott.net/article/258795-Northern-Hemisphere-sets-new-all-time-record-cold-temperature-96-1F-In-Oymyakon-Siberia

"If these reports are accurate, and they appear to be so, then I wonder why this was pretty much blacked out of the news.

With that thick, warm CO2 blanket now smothering our atmosphere, heat is supposed to get trapped and prevent such records.

Who knows, maybe this record is yet another sign of warming, new models will tell us soon!"

OMG OMG OMG?!?!? What kind of a model should that be?!?! Only a new weather babe maybe... Amazingly ridiculous.

Re: Show #6 Climate Change, Food Shortages and the Future

Well, 15 minutes before the show, our internet speed dropped to 1/8 the norm. We almost had to cancel the show!

Resetting stuff didn't seem to help, and then suddenly we went back up to about 1/2 power. So, it's working, but not as well as it could be.

Nothin' we can do about it though, because the internet people don't get back in until tomorrow morning.

Re: Show #6 Climate Change, Food Shortages and the Future

It is really much better then last week, don't worry.....

Re: Show #6 Climate Change, Food Shortages and the Future

Re: Show #6 Climate Change, Food Shortages and the Future

Nothing stopped at my end.

It stopped at the same time here, I recapture it, clicking "play" again in itunes minutes later. Sounds good now. With a little noise here and there, but still good.

Re: Show #6 Climate Change, Food Shortages and the Future

It didn't stop for me, either.
