Silver goes ballistic and shakes the financial system

You do realize that Maduro lost his election and pulled the military card right? So Trump is factually right
Actually, Trump inadvertently made it clear that Maduro won as he said that the opposition candidate, the Nobel peace prize winner, didn't have any support. In other words, she or rather her stand in, could not have won as they don't have support within the country.

Anyway, back to silver, which is rising steadily this morning, along with gold, which is currently up $100. Uncertainty rules as chaos rises and precious metals are natural safe heavens.

You do realize that Maduro lost his election and pulled the military card right? So Trump is factually right, look at the people celebrating in their streets, that says it all.
Most, if not all, of the videos of people celebrating Maduro's capture in Venezuela appear to be fake - either AI generated, or older videos from different times and places. See thread here...

And here...

Here are 2 authentic videos of Venezuelan citizens in the streets protesting and demanding the return of their legitimately elected President...

MP Materials (NYSE:MP) and the US Department of Defense have entered into a joint venture with Saudi Arabia’s Maaden to build a rare earths refinery in the Kingdom, marking the first major project under a new US-Saudi critical minerals cooperation framework signed in Washington this week.
And this one yesterday

Korea Zinc plans a $7.4 billion investment to construct a large-scale non-ferrous metals smelter in Clarksville, Tennessee, a project U.S. officials say will materially expand domestic critical minerals processing capacity and strengthen supply chain security.
Under the plan, the U.S. Department of Defense will hold a 40% stake in the JPM Financed smelter joint-venture.

Just checking on PM prices this morning it looks like silver coins are priced at $85 to $90, a premium of 12-17% over spot and Gold is pretty much the same situation.

A good thread, thanks. I've been following silver for a few years now and have known this time was coming. I haven't read all thats here yet but wanted to mention this because I think its a good point to consider. There have been wild speculations of silver going to the moon, $600-$2000 or more and big plans for all the silver stackers becoming very wealthy. Among the many I've listened to on the subject I heard this recently which makes sense and may be the way it goes. The price of silver is very important for all the major manufacturers of so many technologies that they won't allow it to become overly expensive. The big shots will likely cap the price once again so they can keep their production going. Who knows what that will look like but not a massive increase thats being suggested, or hoped for. Maybe, maybe not.
I agree. Those corps hold huge interest in keeping the price of the silver at low. Just recently russia and china announced that from now own silver is considered a strategic resource

errrrrr...
OK OK I do not claim to be an expert on Venezuela. But I have seen enough native videos, some of huge crowds and some individuals, and they are very happy hes gone....are they all fakes? Is anything real anymore? Are you saying people want to be ruled by a dictator, that life if better under communism? That just flies in the face of reality to me. So the Cs say he won 63% of the vote, I find that ridiculous. The liberals here in NY and elsewhere protesting in support of Madura is another crazy irony. Anyway, back to the title....silver going ballistic...
