Actually, Trump inadvertently made it clear that Maduro won as he said that the opposition candidate, the Nobel peace prize winner, didn't have any support. In other words, she or rather her stand in, could not have won as they don't have support within the country.
Anyway, back to silver, which is rising steadily this morning, along with gold, which is currently up $100. Uncertainty rules as chaos rises and precious metals are natural safe heavens.
Most, if not all, of the videos of people celebrating Maduro's capture in Venezuela appear to be fake - either AI generated, or older videos from different times and places. See thread here...

Just checking on PM prices this morning it looks like silver coins are priced at $85 to $90, a premium of 12-17% over spot and Gold is pretty much the same situation.

I agree. Those corps hold huge interest in keeping the price of the silver at low. Just recently russia and china announced that from now own silver is considered a strategic resource
OK OK I do not claim to be an expert on Venezuela. But I have seen enough native videos, some of huge crowds and some individuals, and they are very happy hes gone....are they all fakes? Is anything real anymore? Are you saying people want to be ruled by a dictator, that life if better under communism? That just flies in the face of reality to me. So the Cs say he won 63% of the vote, I find that ridiculous. The liberals here in NY and elsewhere protesting in support of Madura is another crazy irony. Anyway, back to the title....silver going ballistic...
I visited my local pawn shop today and I'm very happy with my purchases. After going there for a few years this was the first time they where sold out of everything but junk silver (pre-1965, 90% silver, USA coins) a wild buying spree has been going on since the price has gone so high, FOMO, fear of missing out. Junk silver was good for me so I got an excellent deal on silver US dollars that the shop owner wanted to sell at well below spot price because no one wants the junk silver apparently. When I thought I was done with my purchase a woman came in and sold 30 Canadian Maple Leaf 1oz coins, unused and I got a few of those, my first. They are amazing, beautiful, so well done, valued with collectors, I'm so impressed. Fabulous detail. The old US money is a safe choice to avoid counterfeits and can certainly be a better purchase money wise.

I sort of watch from an outsiders perspective the on going waves of drama that repeatedly pull people into one story after another. This latest with Venezuela has ratcheted up the energy level noticeably higher. The PTB/DS are going to exploit this to the max. I'm retaining my Stoic stance so far which is easy where I live. In my area people seem unaffected by it all and all reactions I see are on social media only, the #1 influencer of people these days, #2 is MSM still.
Silver is another drama queen to add to the mix. High Ho Silver!!!!

The Force is Strong With This One
When I brought a few of these to a local dealer, their eyes got all big and exclaimed "wow! We haven't seen these in a long time!".
They offered almost spot price for them, which is unusual. I was happy to sell. 500%+ profit from a partial "stack" bought about 10 years ago (and that's an adjusted inflation figure).
When I asked what they had to sell when this run was over, they said they haven't been able to find silver to sell in the last 9 months.
Very telling that something was coming a longer time ago before this run.
