SotT Promotion Posters

Ruth is right. Just keep using the images. Even if people do not respond, their subconscious minds are taking note of words and phrases. Then, at some moment later, when some particular issue comes up, they will remember...

Printing the posters on sticker paper and sticking them up in public bathroom stalls at eye level is also fun... putting them as bookmarks into selected books in libraries and bookstores... leaving them about in busses, trains, airport lounges, waiting rooms... If you have a dozen or so of the sticky and non-sticky variety in your pocket at all times, you are prepared to leave a trail of clues through the forest for someone else.
Laura,

Has RPP considered printing the SOTT cards/posters and offering them for sale? Perhaps with a slight profit that can fund research? It is possible that this is just too much overhead and not cost effective for RPP.
I was thinking it might be of help to the shy and give people more of a comfort level when they know they are helping you out.
Then again maybe living in the US has rubbed off on me and I am looking for convience when I should be putting energy into doing it myself.

Dominique.

Thanks Laura for giving me additional ideas on distributing the posters. And Ruth, yes I agree with what you stated. As for offering the posters for sale, well that might be a bit more difficult proposition. I am thinking as to who would be the buyers but then again it could be an avenue that we could explore.

We would be the buyers of these, and the information should be offered for free, a la STO (this of course includes via anonomous - and therefore protective - means).

One should remember that information 'stones', cast out onto the pool of 'reality', have an unknown effect . These (should have) an un-assumed effect by the people whom cast them (us).

We should be aiming to have a 'serve others' attitude, rather than a 'how are they going to serve us?' attitude, and we can start with the little things.... These are the easy things which will increase our 'viabration' with the greatest of ease and the minimum, of fuss.

You would be amazed at what some people find 'easy' in the 'serve others' department, and what some people find hard. Funninly enough, it just may balance out and increase with co-operation. I think we all need to think about what 'serves others' (and not what serves ourselves) as well as how each of us 'do' it, and how each of us can 'do' it. We need to know what helps others to 'help others', so we can help them.. It just multiplies from there.

Call me stupid, but I didn't even know SOTT had posters. Where do you get them from? This kinda reminds me of V for Vendetta. Instead of spray-painting little V insignias everywhere, we're distributing posters. It actually sounds kinda fun, I'll just have to make sure I don't cause TOO much trouble...

Funny you bring up V - simply click on his picture on the SotT page and it will take you here http://signs-of-the-times.org/signs/promote_sott.php

With one week to go before the elections here in the US, the ads are coming fast and furious. It is not unusual to see 8-10 in succession in just one commercial tv slot. I've been getting piles of them in the mail every day; I've been getting phone calls canvassing me; Signs are popping up everywhere on people's front lawns. This has been going on for weeks.

I've had enough. I'm printing up some posters and distributing them whereever and anywhere I can. I especially like the one with the American flag draped over the guy's face. http://www.sott.net/signs/images/posters/sott_newworld.jpg

Mr. Quinn's recent Focus article Wikileaks, Assorted Actors And Faith-Based Frolics In The War On Terror struck the nerve and caught my pants on fire. Thanks Joe! Simply excellent.

Mod's note: Edited to activate the SOTT's link

That one's one of my favourites too. Very provocative!

Here's an idea. Take as many books you have laying around that you would like to pass along to others.

print posters to the dimensions of the books and paste them on the inside of the front or back cover. Maybe even write in pen, "Compliments of one who cares."

Leave books in public spaces like on a bus, park bench, etc.

The more compelling or interesting the book, the more interested and engaged the reader.

Cool! :D

i don't have the experience with Sott posters but i tried to present this site to other people ,friends ,family and on the internet on other forums where i created a topic called " Objective Reality" ,i described the Sott.net as an site who offers to the reader objective information about what is going on around us( tge description i gave to the sott was something like that ) ... but unfortunately no one has responded back (still there was a couple of visits of the topic,30-40 visits ), when i talked to my brother he asked the link to the site but after that he didn't ask me nothing about Sott , :( ,still i will try to find other ways .

Well, like the saying goes, you can lead a horse to water but you can't make him drink.

Scattering seeds is interesting. I am always surprised how some will germinate on the toughest of ground against all odds and sometimes those that land on soft and fertile ground get eaten by the birds before they even have a chance.

It is important to remember the experiences of those who follow mainstream media, if they follow media at all, as I know a few who have just tuned out and unplugged themselves from everything.

Many have heard about alternative media in the mocking context of conspiracy websites. Few of them would be able to find a reason to take a chance and visit something aside from their familiar news sources.

As well, some are terrified of what is going on and cannot bear to visit a site that tells the truth straight up. It is easier on their overstressed minds to live in the illusion.

One should also remember how incredibly successful mind control through propaganda and social engineering has been in the West. This is a huge obstacle to overcome as it requires one to see the cracks in the illusion and to have the courage to be suspicious.

All this to say promotional efforts have to reach an incredibly high number to succeed in substantial saturation.

It is an uphill battle but worthy nonetheless.
