Same in the french version. Maybe it is intended that way to simplify some sort of archive system?

Thanks :whlchair:! :D

Category names will be changed soon!!

:D

And, if I may, what are the plans for the French section ?
Will it be merged with http://www.signesdestemps.net/ ?

Well, I'm not a total fan of the new design. My first immediate sensation is "lack of serious".
I think it's due to :
- washed out colors
- the external blue frame at the top which give a sensation of "not finished"
- the very super-super-extra charged page ! You have put all what you can think off in it ! If I was someone seeing Sott for the first time I would classify the site as "They try to sell me all what they can" and go away. For me, there is too much informations and I don't know exactly where too look for. All is on the same plan. Different background colors for sections perhaps.

I want to say I know how hard is the art and easy the criticism. So I want anyway congratulate the team. :)

I like the new design very much.
The colors are attractive, relaxing and playful, but not childish. Exactly what would one want when facing "gloomy" reality.
And I really like the new links/categories on sides of the website.
Excellent work everyone involved!

Great Job.

The new site is fantastic.

Thanks to the team who has done it. :hug2:

Hi Heaalih,

As far as I understand it, Signes des temps will be merged with the new site and we will have just one international website for the news.

Ok, the site look Great  good job!

And now some troubles... it happens also with some emails on thunderbird, simply what happens is I don't see the title's text, it may be the header tag, I don't know :huh

So, the header's text is scrambled and unreadable using Firefox 3.6.12. Not with IE8, Opera 10 though. Is there a newer version of Firefox to install? Firefox 4 isn't simply a beta release?

Thanks

Noticed the RSS feed isn't updating.

New feeds look like this:

http://www.sott.net/xml_engine/signs_rss_cat/4

Try to see if that one works.

Actually, that link is for specific categories.

But I updated my feeds this morning, and sott was working. So maybe it is already fixed or it was not updating because sott was down for the most part yesterday.

Looks very nice. I would like to see the "Latest News" section a bit different. What I mean is the stories (for me at least) don't seem to stick out, they kind of seem to merge together. I love the blue color that comes when the mouse goes over it. But maybe putting a frame around each article would help it stand out more?
I personally would like the site more in a darker blue color, this one is very light, or the backround in a darker color? Maybe it's my labtop, but I think it would be easier on the eyes.
All in all great work everyone!

The RSS feed is still not updating. When I select it from the menu, the last update was on Nov. 7th.

Should be working again now!

A couple of things:

* When I click on a category, the category name in the new page is not correct. The articles are correct though.

Fixed.

* The actual search box where I can type something in is a little below the displayed grey rectangle. Type something in the search box and you'll see what I mean.

Hmm, what browser are you using? It looks okay in FF 3.6.12 and IE8.

Added: The Latest News box on the top right corner seems to display the latest articles in a specific random category, not across all the categories.

Fixed.
