Can anyone recommend good book for survival, but also "city survival"? Radio transmiters-recievers that can send messages acros 250-1000km battery powered etc. What type of clothes,foods to have,carry?

To me, one of the most profound statements put forth here in recent memory is this:

You can also check out the book by Selco Begovic, SHTF Survival Stories, which demolishes many myths about societal collapse from his personal experience during the years of urban terror in the Balkans. Another good one is Deep Survival by Lawrence Gonzales, detailing stories of how and why some exceptional people survived in wilderness emergencies. Both books are good because they focus on mindset first and foremost.
